I had gotten a generator 2 days ago at the North Hollywood Location it went on sale 2 days later I called them they said they don't adjust the price so I decided to call this store and the lovely Maribel answered told me I could bring it there for a price adjustment. Called North Hollywood back told them this location was willing to why weren't day, long story short NH ended up doing the adjustment. A small location located right near IKEA and a short jaunt from Home Depot. This location is a bit smaller than other HFT locations and has parking on both sides of the stores, though it can be easy to miss the driveway if you're going by quick. There are may be street parking, though they're usually filled up. The store is clean and well organized and the employees have been helpful the times I have asked to help locate something. Be sure to check out their coupons online and consider their insider club if you'll be a frequent visitor. I've typically bought random things I've needed here, and all have worked for my needs, though haven't gotten any major tools here so can't speak to their quality. Overall a more price friendly option to the big guys when they have what you need. read more

The 3 stars is for the gentleman that helped me but it was my first time here. I did not know where the supplies were. I did not know much about these supplies and was sent to buy it. I asked one of the associates, she was really rude & condescending. She told the wrong aisle to look for especially when I di not know about the product and asked her if she can show me. She misdirected me to wrong aisle & did not want to help at all. There were only few customers in the morning when they opened so it is not like they were busy. One huge big Thank you to Mario at the Burbank Harbor Freight. We were taking down a shower without much luck. I went into Harbor Freight for help. Mario recommended the Hercules 14.5 amps 23lb demolition hammer. He was correct. This thing is a beast. It took care of 4" thick walls from the early 50's. The Hercules brand it top notch. I really like this Harbor Freight location, there is parking at the back of the store if you find the front lot is getting plump full! The store itself is nice and clean, shelves are well-stocked and organized and they made the necessary precautions since we are still in a pandemic! No Mask - No Entry, a very simple instruction even a caveman can understand and do it. Anyway! I came here to buy an odd size tarp and voila! of course they have it! I always say I'll just come and get what I need every time I come into this store but I always end up with a bunch of tools and gadgets afterwards LOL This is truly a man's candyland but those handy-dandy cool chicks would find this place pretty cool too for their projects whatever it maybe. My brother wanted to check this place out and was excited to see it was open (it was a soft opening when we went this weekend). They have a small parking lot in front of the building and the staff was very friendly when we entered. My brother had either the manager or worker assist him in finding a jack that he saw was discounted and the worker ended up not only finding what he needed, but wrote the coupon code on the box for the cashier to use at checkout. My brother had told me that this place has decent prices for tools and auto equipment and I really liked how organized their displays were. We saw other customers being assisted with a worker each and the cashier we ended up with was pretty friendly to talk to after my brother made his quick round of the place. read more

I was so happy I drove out to this location! The item we were looking for was in stock and it was easy to get a sales associate to help us immediately. :) Initially we went to the North Hollywood location, which is great as well, but the tool organizer was out of stock. They checked surrounding stores and Burbank had 6 in stock. We decided to drive out and had 40 minutes til closing. Once we arrived, it was an ease to find parking right in front of the entrance. Parking is something I sometimes struggle with businesses but was happy I didn't have that added stress this time. :) Upon entering, we were greeted with a smile and the sales associate on the floor went to look for our item. Came here to get electric cables to jump my car when the battery dies and was helped by Carla she was super sweet and knew her stuff. She explained to me how to charge it and how it works. Great pricing on tools and the little things you need that can add up quickly. We grabbed some items for a flooring project and even had to return a few things we didn't use. Store has it's own parking, it's fair well taken care and can't miss the entrance. Inside the store was clean, staff was helpful and knowledgeable also aisles are organize and things are easy to find by reading the upper templates. Fraud alert! A friend of mine told me about harbor freight being an inexpensive place to buy tools. It was and I thought this place is not bad. So, on 4/13/19 I decided to buy a generator for my small business. I wasn't quite sure what size I needed so I asked the "knowledgeable" employees. They recommended I buy 2 different sizes and "bring back the one I didn't need". I made sure to ask them if I would get a full refund, KNOWING FULL WELL I DIDNT NEED 2 generators, in which they replied yes. As long as I had the receipt and it was within 90 days I would get a full refund. Well isn't that convenient and awesome... so I thought! After testing both generators 1 time each I decided to bring back the one I didn't need. FYI, it was only 9 days later. 4/23/19 to be exact. To my surprise, Danny the grumpy store manager informed me that there was a 20% restocking fee. That's almost $100 bucks!! I was outraged and tried to explain to him that his associates told me otherwise. He didn't care at all and was very rude. Didn't once apologize for the obvious lack of communication from his team. Makes sense since he runs this store. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Shop at Lowe's or Home Depot if you want professionals and a company that conducts business friendly and legitimately. They lost a customer for life. read more

Worrisome that they are not requiring customers to be mask compliant. On a short trip there on Saturday I saw no less than three adults shopping without masks. I'm sure it's tough for a busy staff to take that on, too, but then the business should make it clear that compliance is not 100% and is not enforced. read more

This is it ! This is the last time I'm ever going to buy any thing from Harbor Freight. Every time I've bought a power tool it's got missing parts inside and or not working. I'm guessing a lot of their tools have been returned and rewrapped and put back on shelf without proper inspection. I just think this is the 99c store of tools . It may be a few dollars cheaper from other well known stores but a wholes lot of low quality of everything inside . I'm going to pay a few dollars more and get real brand products from real hardware store and won't be waisting my time and kill the excitement of enjoying a product fresh out of box . read more

Love love love this place! Clean, new, and well stocked. BUT the best part about visiting are the people who work there. I've only been a few times, and they all seem to recognize me, which makes me feel kinda' special. They're very knowledgeable, always having the right answers to my questions, or researching until they do. And they are always willing to go beyond the call of duty to help. My SUV is kinda' big, so the small parking lot causes some issues. But it's all worth it. I'm looking forward to going this weekend. read more

I didn't think I would be l writing this review al over again. But recently I went to harbor freight in Burbank for some things I needed. I also had inside track club coupons and a 20% coupon. And on the time of check out I used my inside track coupon and presented the 20% one and the cashier said I can't use it because I can only use one coupon not too. I the past iv done it that way but I was told that that is not acceptable. Not sure what happened but it's a hole new staff. Well it looks like I will not be going there again. Due to the Covid-19 crisis and because of my age, I'm considered at risk. I'm supposed to avoid stores and contact whenever possibIe. I took a chance and contacted Ali, one of the managers at this location. I asked her if I gave her a list of needed items over the phone, could she ring them up and have someone bring them out to my car. This was a lengthy process, because there were many items. She stayed with me on the phone to check inventory and was exceedingly patient and amazingly helpful. She called me back in a few minutes with the total due and 15 minutes later, she came out of the store with all my items and placed them in the car for me. If I could give her and this location more than 5 stars I would. This level of service and courtesy is mighty hard to find anywhere today. Anybody done this for you lately??? I ran errands in Burbank and decided to stop by Harbor Freight so glad I did! Simply picking up a trunk organizer and while at the register picked up the bug zapper that looks like a tennis racket. Cody literally asked if I'd like D batteries to go along with the bug zapper, I "thought" it took AA, Cody was right!! Talk about exemplary friendly customer service and I got a yes ma'am please give this gentlemen a raise!! I bought another set of batteries as I bought 3 or 4 bug zappers for family but no batteries. I tried calling for 20 minutes and no one answered so thought I'd just drive there. I needed a small heater. There were 3 employees doing nothing in the store. No shoppers. I asked and the cashier and he pointed to the back wall. Another asked me if I needed help. She didn't know what a small electric heater was! Another just walked past me. Really? Never going back.
