After searching and reaching out to several contractors to renovate our home, we ended up choosing Amin. I always hear nightmare stories of contractors stalling their jobs and trying to rip you off or not responding in a timely manner. But Amin and his team are truly professionals. Jose is like his right hand man and gets the job done. Not only getting the job done but does it very well. From his showroom, we were able to pick out all the designs that we wanted and seeing the end result, I was truly impressed. His prices are fair and he's upfront about everything. Amin will answer any questions you have throughout the entire process. Even if you text him at 9pm he will respond quick. If he says something will be done by a certain time frame, he will ensure that it is done. I really wanted LED mirrors at the end and he wasn't able to do it. We were even willing to pay extra for it! We ended up having to get plain, boring mirrors with no LED which was pretty disappointing. Also, one of the biggest issue I had was I wanted all the outlets changed since the previous ones were yellow and old but he said it'll be an additional charge. White walls and yellow outlets? EWWW!! We pretty much did a whole gut renovation and spent a fortune but couldn't get our outlets switched out. I thought it would be an easy switch but apparently he said it costs to change bc it has to do with the electrical aspect of it. Didn't know that but now I know. We ended up finding a handyman to do it at less than a fraction of his price. Although we had a few disagreements here and there but from start to finish, Amin was available to answer our questions, concerns and help fix anything. He is so easy to work with and made this whole process extremely seamless. The team was able to get everything done and we moved in on the date that we wanted to. Went in here trying to get a quote to redo the kitchen and the guy was not very helpful and kind of rude. Very limited selections and shot down our ideas saying that would look ugly or it would look weird, etc.. looking at the photos of other people's reviews and the work they've done, I can see that this place really is for people who don't have much of an eye for design or decor; very dated 2010 look. Also when we asked to see the different finishes and color choices, everything he pulled out was dusty, and he also literally threw the sample tiles on the desk in front of us. We went went to Prestige due to all the great reviews and we can happily say we are so glad we did. In the initial meeting, Ola provided the cost and timing for the original ask which was just a small plumbing fix with vanity update and she provided several additional options of what we can do to further enhance the bathroom that never crossed out minds. This place was built in the 1940's so the layout poses as an inconvenience so we jumped on the option that would open up the space and increase the functionality. Overall, this has been a very pleasant experience working with Ola and her team. It's our first time doing any remodel project. Ola has been super accommodative to any requests or concerns we had. Her team of contractors are all professionals that know what they are doing and are very respectful. First thing they did was laying down paper to protect our floors and every night before leaving, they would tidy up. They even took the time to break down what and how they are doing certain repairs/upgrades in such a way that anyone can easily understand. The bathroom was completely gutted. The plumbing was re-routed for the new layout and we took the opportunity with the floor opened to update the galvanized pipes to copper for the whole house. A cross section of the old galvanized pipe was shown to us and we were shocked! Design-wise, we wanted a bright minimalistic feel with some neutral grays and black accents so Ola gave us the suggestions of what we can use. See the before and after. Ola was wonderful to work with on our new condo. We went in at a very busy time where it was very difficult to find contract work after calling multiple other places, and she was very professional and laid out the details very clearly after we discussed what we were interested in. Within a week, she was able to come by to look at the place, discuss our budget and take measurements, and provide a 3D model of the new kitchen cabinets free of charge. What we really enjoyed was that her eye for design was very on point for what we were looking for. We pretty much agreed on every aspect of the design process, and she knew what we wanted from the vision that we had described. We redid all the flooring including two flights of stairs, an entire kitchen remodel including appliances, and 3 bathrooms. It came out over budget because we had a lot of unexpected expenses, such as rerouting one of the bathrooms and additional (expensive) changes we wanted, but Ola was accommodating and worked overtime to help us find the exact materials and products we needed during a huge material shortage. After living in the home for a couple of weeks, I can definitely say the materials, appliances, and hardware she chose were all very high quality. If we worked on the renovation without her help, we would have cheaped out on a lot of the materials and probably wouldn't be able to appreciate what higher quality products can really do to add value and general luxury to your home. We had some snags where communication was an issue, but that's a given when you're trying to discuss abstract art ideas through a language barrier. We purchased a large fixer upper earlier this year and met with many contractors before hiring Amin & Ola to lead our project. They were very open to our ideas and vision and provided a lot of great design guidance on what they have seen work well in the other homes they have managed. We recently worked with Ola and her team on a custom-made kitchen island. We had not been there before, but the reviews were positive so we decided to try them. Timeline: We went in for a consultation in their showroom last Saturday. They came to verify measurements the following Tuesday. The next day we had the cabinet portion installed and this Saturday (exactly a week later) the island was completed. Materials: All the materials are very high quality. When we purchased our home, the kitchen had been completely remodeled and this new island fits right in. The wood, the fixtures, and the stone are sturdy and finished beautifully. Price: The cost was competitive for sure, compared with other places we looked at for costume made pieces. We had originally ordered a kitchen island from Crate and Barrel (that was never delivered, see other review). This tailor-made island was only a few hundred dollars more than the pre-made island and we got so much for our investment. I was pleasantly greeted by Ola who was very helpful in showing me the selection of cabinet door designs. She wasn't pushy or overbearing and had no other agenda other than to answer my questions. Would give more stars if I could. We had met with other Yelp recommended bath remodelers and were immediately impressed with Ola and Amin when we met them. They are both easy going and gave genuine attention to our needs and interests.
