I never thought I'd be writing a 5-star review about a renovation due to many poor experiences with other contractors in the past, but I cannot say enough good things about Elegant Kitchens and Bath. We remodeled our guest bathroom and it was a smooth experience from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout. Freddy, Natalie, and Sam were great and so easy to work with. Honestly, it was a very painless experience. And the bathroom looks amazing. We were initially a bit hesitant about being limited to the showroom's materials but they had a pretty good selection. We did have to make some compromises for the wall tile, since they didn't have exactly what we wanted, but we're still very happy with how it turned out. After the excellent job Elegant Kitchens and Bath did on our bathroom, we were so happy with their work that we asked them to provide a quote for a complete kitchen renovation as well. Our kitchen was a complete mess before the project started, and we weren't sure where to begin. From the moment we visited their showroom, they gave us many great ideas and made us feel completely at ease. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and helped us visualize different possibilities. When they came to our home, we talked through the layout, design options, and functionality, and they guided us every step of the way. Our new kitchen has truly transformed our lives. We are in there every day cooking and enjoying the space. We contacted Elegant Kitchens and Tim, the Sales Manager promptly responded and set an appointment. He listened to our ideas and provided great recommendations. We were scheduled to start our bathroom remodel fairly fast and were given a time frame of 3-4 weeks from start to completion. EKAB blew our mind with how fast they worked, how responsive they were to our suggestions, and how customer focused they were. The remodel ended up lasting two weeks, including minor tweaks they had to make after our final inspection. Their team is professional, respectful, open to suggestions and easy to work with. I planned to do a moderate kitchen remodel, new quartz countertop, tile backsplash and refinishing hardwood floor, and repainting cabinets and walls. I interviewed 3 contractors and chose Elegant Kitchens and Bath because Gilbert gave me a very detailed bid and a reasonable price. Gilbert arranged for me to meet him in their showroom where there was such a huge choice of tile, counter tops, hardware etc. I was able to find what I wanted and work would start the following Monday. The project took 3 1/2 weeks, and I was very happy with the quality of workmanship. The counters look gorgeous and I love the way the tile backsplash anchors the whole kitchen. The refinish job on the floors make them look like new, and the repainted cabinets look new too. Of course there were small problems and miscommunications along the way, but Gilbert and Natalie always reacted quickly to solve the problems. Their workers were hard working and friendly. The entire process was great, from explaining our physical constraints (it was a very small restroom to begin with), to selecting the materials at their two showrooms, to working with them on unique solutions (we ended up building a pony wall and a glass partition). For our major kitchen and laundry room remodel, I evaluated three contractors, including Elegant Kitchens & Bath (EKB) and I found EKB to offer not only high quality cabinetry, but reasonable pricing. EKB's recently updated Arcadia showroom is totally awesome! It's organized with constructed mock-ups of kitchen layouts and internal cabinet ideas - very helpful for me to envision our kitchen and actually see and touch the quality cabinetry. Also, they have lots of samples showing various, current countertop materials. Everyone we worked with at EKB is helpful, knowledgable, experienced, and professional. Gilbert was very patient with changes and pointed out potential issues in some of my decisions so we could work out a solution. And, their installer, Walter, is highly competent at cabinetry installation. Cabinets were constructed and shipped to our home within about six weeks which worked well with our demo and floor tiling schedule. Gilbert was very helpful in the planning process and was very accommodating to our requests. Once our project started we always had very good communication between Gilbert and our contractor Bashir, who we enjoyed working with. Bashir made sure the different tradesmen were doing things properly. Even though Gilbert had told us to expect a three-week turnaround time, we were back in our house in less than two weeks! This was very important to us since we only have one bathroom in our house and we were renting elsewhere during the renovation. He priced the job upfront & estimated timelines accurately. His subcontractors were all excellent: demo, framing, plumbing, hot mopping, applying Redgard & installing tiles. He referred us to a someone for shower doors (rather than a subcontractor) who was also excellent. At times, Laurent is rushed, and his subcontractors are tricky to schedule. We were referred to Elegant Kitchen & Bath by Laurent as our project was located in Huntington Beach. We previously worked with Laurent on a flooring project in our home in Monrovia, and thought he would be a great source for a referral, if eModeling was unable to serve us in H.B. We were not disappointed with his referral. We worked with Tim and the office staff to design our guest bathroom remodel with a beach vibe. They were great with design ideas and materials. The office staff was easy to work with and prompt in all communication. Tim did an excellent job in assisting in our project from a customer service perspective and was incredibly responsive to our questions, email, and text. Anwar served as our project foreman and he was very prompt and responsive in keeping our project on track. We did have a number of change orders along the way, some were known at the time of bid, and others came as a result of items that came up during the project. The team provided clear estimates for the change orders and adjusted a couple on occasion when we had a difference in opinion as to who should be accountable for certain elements of the change order. Tim was very focused on making sure that we were pleased with the work. I am pretty meticulous and have high expectations for quality workmanship. Initiated kitchen and bathroom remodel in early March of 2020...bad timing. When the COVID-19 shelter-in-place order was issued, the family had an immediate desire to return home. Laurent respected this request without hesitation and paused the project (in addition to making the house habitable for our return) until it was safe to reinitiated work. I went to EK&B to look for some vinyl flooring for our bathroom. They had an excellent selection and their showroom is beautiful. I loved the tile they had on display in the bathroom portion of their showroom and Freddy allowed me to take some sample boards home. In the end, I chose for our floor tile the same porcelain tile EK&B used. The ordering process was so easy. Due to needing the tile asap, Freddy said he would go to Anaheim and pick it up himself. He even delivered to our home since it was raining. Freddy went above and and beyond and we received the tile exactly when we needed it and it looks beautiful. My wife and I purchased our house in April 2021 with full expectation of remodeling the kitchen and master bath. We spoke with 5 different contractors and in the end chose to work with Emodeling. We made the right decision. Laurent was very knowledgeable and patient with us (this is our first house and a new experience for us.) We had a decent idea about what we wanted done and Laurent was able to drawn up designs for us that helped bring the vision to life. Once we signed the contract, Laurent and crew were at our home a couple days later to start demo. The project was a complete gut, so lots of moving pieces. Obviously that's enough to make anyone nervous, but I can say that Laurent and his team were here working every weekday (and occasionally a Saturday) and progress was continually being made. Issues in a project like this are always going to pop up, but luckily they were minor and Laurent handled with relative ease. Laurent included some extra touches for us and gave us some tips in design along the way that we really appreciated as well. In the end, the job was finished exactly on budget and completed early. Laurent, Nadia, and their remodeling contractors perform amazing work; you can't go wrong by seeking their help with a kitchen or bath remodeling project. I initially sought out contractors to redo my floors & carpeting, re painting my new home's interior, and some touch-up work in the kitchen. Laurent was just me of the contractors I approached, based off a referral from family. He was quite attentive and punctual, showed up at my home and took measurements quickly and efficiently. Right from the start, I could see the wheels turning regarding how he would transform my home, with a special eye to the kitchen. At the Emodeling showroom, both Laurent and Nadia took my thoughts and input on the basic design I wanted, and offered many elegant complements to my ideas to make the final product pop! They assisted with color selection, adjusting hues slightly from my chosen base colors, and helped me pick cabinetry and floor styles that would gel with everything else. Laurent even added on a few extra work items I wanted that were not included in his quote at no charge; his one caveat was that I had to supply the materials for those extra tasks myself, but he would handle the labor. Couldn't be happier! Like any construction/remodel job, there were a few hiccups that added to cost (i.e. unexpected plumbing retrofits from the previous owner, contractors accidentally damaging wires), but nothing that couldn't be overcome. Laurent is an artist first and foremost, and wants to deliver a quality job. Existing issues were handled at cost, issues the subcontractors caused were remedied by Laurent in short order. Most impressive to me, Laurent and team finished the entire remodel job one day before his scheduled completion, despite the hiccups and my additional requests. I'd definitely seek out his team's opinions again when it's time for my bathroom upgrades, but in the meantime I ask you to give him a shot! You will love what you see. read more

Our house was built in the 20's. It had seen many remodels and add ons which left the house with an almost unusable kitchen, flow problems, and odd exposed beams. We really needed design help. Laurent remodeled our kitchen, a bathroom, and utility room. He re-floored and re-mudded our living room/dining area and hall. Basically he redid 1/2 of our house. Now, we have fantastic flow, and the kitchen is actually a fun place to be and cook. His design maximized flow, beauty, and storage. We could not be happier. Had water damage that started on second floor master bath effect the following upstairs; master bedroom/bath, second floor hallway and loft; downstairs: bathroom, 2nd bedroom, livingroom and front door entry way. We had plumbing, electrical, flooring, painters, roofing and cabinetry work done. We had carpet through out house and decided to upgrade floors and paint throughout entire house including staitcase, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and kitchen. Love my new floors and baseboard moulding. We had new 2 cabinets with sinks installed in 2 restrooms, 3 new toilets overall. Along with some tile work in a shower and plumbing to install new shower fixtures. Cabinetry was installed in a bedroom and hallway. Since we decided to upgrade our kitchen along with the rest of the house we had new cabinets installed there. Laurent did a lovely job of designing our kitchen and customizing our wrap around bench according to our needs. Needless to say a great job was done installing new appliances after having reconfigured our kitchen and taking down a wall to expand kitchen. Tons of dry wall went up. Interior paint throughout 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, hallways, kitchen and living room... job was well done. All interior doors painted and front door entryway resized and installed. Lighting was updated throughout house in every room and hallway as well. Not an easy task considering I have 25 foot cathedral ceilings in livingroom. Extremely pleased with the work done and Laurent's attention to detail. He did an excellent job in answering questions, listening, and keeping me informed. Forgot to mention he also repaired a minor roof leak and was able to reseal our roof and identify the source of a second leak indoors and repair that as well.
