When the refrigerator arrived, it had electrical wires hanging out and was visibly damaged, to the point that the delivery crew refused to complete the delivery. We then had to waste our time driving back to the outlet to find another refrigerator. The only replacement they had available was in even worse condition. Despite the additional damage, they refused to offer us even a small additional discount. We also found another unit with a yellow tag that we were interested in, but they flat-out refused to negotiate on the price whatsoever, even though these are outlet appliances with obvious damage and there is clearly some flexibility in pricing. What makes the situation even more ridiculous is that we were charged an additional one penny for delivery. Yes, one penny. After we had already wasted our time, gas, and effort dealing with an appliance that Lowe's should never have attempted to deliver in the first place, they somehow thought it was appropriate to charge us an extra penny for the replacement delivery. We ultimately had to take a refrigerator that was significantly more damaged than the original one, after making an unnecessary trip back to the store and spending additional time and money because of Lowe's mistake. The way we were treated was extremely disappointing. We felt like our time meant absolutely nothing to them and that we were being treated like garbage. There was no meaningful effort to make the situation right, no reasonable accommodation for the additional damage, and absolutely no sense that they valued us as customers. This was one of the worst customer-service experiences I've had at Lowe's. The entire situation was frustrating, wasteful, and completely avoidable. If this is how the Lowe's Outlet treats customers when its own damaged merchandise causes a failed delivery, customers should seriously reconsider whether the small discount is worth the aggravation.

He took apart our dryer, found that the sound was coming from some rocks and Bobby pins that I probably didn't empty from my daughter's pockets. But he checked all the parts and said they looked great. He helped me clean some of the excess lint from the drum edges. Gave me some pointers on appliance maintenance, and we were done in 30 minutes! Super nice guy, professional. He takes cash, Venmo, or check. 10 stars for saving me from buying a new dryer. After coming by to inspect the vent, I was expecting a follow up call to let me know what the assessment was and what part(s) needed to be replaced and/or if the entire unit needed to be replaced. I called Greg multiple times over the next two days and did not get a response. I called the store directly and spoke with multiple employees about the situation and they said they would speak to Greg and have him call me, yet I never received a call from Greg. After a week of no returned calls from anyone I decided to go into the store to see if I could get some answers. I went in multiple times and I was told once again that they would contact Greg and get me some answers but still (almost two weeks later) I have not received any calls from Greg or any other employees at Pasadena Kitchens. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed with my overall experience and will not be returning to Pasadena Kitchens. I'm in real estate and have over 700 agents in my Pasadena office that I will make sure to tell to stay away from this place. Very unfortunate that my experience lead me to have to leave a negative review. I hope Pasadena Kitchens does better in the future with their customers, but they will definitely not be receiving my future business or recommendations.

It appears to cater primarily to a higher-end clientele, with many visitors being interior designers rather than homeowners. As expected, prices tend to be on the higher side. If you know the manufacturer's stock number, you may be able to find some of the same items through online retailers such as Wayfair. However, for large purchases like bathtubs, it's worth considering the delivery experience. Ordering elsewhere may carry a greater risk of delays, logistics issues, or the absence of white-glove delivery services.

We told him we were just looking at that moment. He was very kind and accommodating. A couple weeks later, we purchased all four items mentioned above. Brandon remembered us and he gave us a great price for all the items together. We were undergoing a kitchen remodel and asked if we could leave the appliances there for a few weeks and he graciously let us. The kitchen remodel took longer than expected (nearly two months extra), and we checked in with Brandon periodically and he still let us keep our items there for that long. The appliances were very low cost to deliver to us ($70 total for all 4 pieces since it was one trip). Prior to delivery, he tested each and something was needed for one of the pieces, so he called and let me know with full disclosure, which delayed the expected delivery a few days, yet he gave us an extra item repair because of the delay, and he got those 4 appliances to us when we needed them. Everything worked great, except we had an issue with the oven door of our induction range not closing fully, which prevented the oven from working. I called them and they promptly (within 3 days) had a mechanic contact me to fix the issue at no charge. Overall the experience was fantastic. I highly recommend this place.

Sharp needed a second opinion and sent out A+ Appliances. A+ Appliances claimed it was working fine. Not the case. Top rack dishes do not get washed, bottom has a detergent film. They ran part of a cycle with no dishes and said it was getting water (not the problem but they claimed that because of this, they found it in perfect working condition.) They have promised they'd send another tech out and they are not answering my calls and no one has come out. They were also supposed to submit pictures to Sharp and have not. Do not call these guys and if they are sent out by an appliance company for a warranty check, ask for someone else. Its been over a week and no response or next steps.

John was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and he patiently listened as I explained our unique kitchen layout. To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. In the end, being able to see the exact Liebherr model in person gave us the confidence to make our purchase. I'm writing to share my recent experience with Semihandmade, and strongly urge you to review other…read morebusinesses for your cabinets, they are not the same company we experienced our first time around. In 2018, we had our first project with Semihandmade, and it was outstanding. We used one of SHM recommended designers and the level of support and attention to detail was perfect; our final kitchen, pantry and laundry room were beautiful! As it turned out, our home was featured in Atomic Ranch in its 2021 Design Issue, where I spoke highly of Semihandmade in that interview. We were very proud and recommended their products and services to many people over the years. After moving to Asheville, we planned another kitchen renovation and launched that in January of 2025. Even though our former designer had moved to Modern Twig, we chose Semihandmade again based on our past experience. Unfortunately, this time has been very different. We ordered roughly $28,000 in cabinet fronts-- the largest single expense in our kitchen renovation. We understood the delivery timeline, but the order arrived in separate shipments without advance notice. When my husband (who installed both kitchens) discovered one incorrect cabinet setup and a missing drawer front, he reached out to their customer service. The response from Deanna Bade was essentially, "read your contract," which I found dismissive and frankly did not sit well with me. It was clear from our IKEA design submission that our order had been entered correctly on our side but miscoded in the SHM system. My expectation was to hear, "Sorry that happened--let us make it right." Instead, I received a lecture on treating her "like a professional" before she agreed to resolve the issue--an interaction that left me feeling unwelcome as a customer. Later, as installation progressed, we discovered that the walnut doors were noticeably different in color--clearly not from a single batch, as SHM advertising promises. When I raised this, I was told replacement would require approval from the "walnut manufacturer" and would be done as a "courtesy remake." I had to remind her that Semihandmade--not a third party--was my point of purchase and that this was a quality control failure, not a favor. This caused weeks of delay, but even after the replacements arrived, there was no follow-up to confirm receipt, check color consistency, or offer an apology by Deanna or SHM customer service, only a request to do a survey. I am shocked and saddened at the decline of Semihandmade whom I have raved about for years. Given Deanna Bade describes herself as "Customer Experience Manager with a proven track record in resolving complex issues and driving customer satisfaction", she did not execute at this level at all. I realize this must be a very hard job if there is a lot of customer dissatisfaction with product and operations (which seems to be possible based on reviews), and if that is the case, this ultimately is a reflection on Semihandmade's commitment as a company to quality of product and services. Given the strong competition in this industry, I would think this is not the quality of product SHM wants to deliver or the standard of service SHM want for their customers. Mistakes happen, but a willingness to "bend over backwards" to correct them makes all the difference. Sadly, even after the new walnut order arrived, given the delay in time we realized we could not rip out our entire kitchen and start all over, so the previous construction with panels, built in shelving, etc. that had begun had to stay the same and will always be slightly off in color, a forever reminder. I reached out to the CEO, John McDonald, who did respond and apologized, which was good; but did not offer to compensate us for our customer stress, delay or final mixed matched cabinetry (although I did not ask for one either) - my point was to ensure at the top he knew how much SHM had fallen in my eyes. I've gone from being one of their strongest advocates to feeling I can no longer recommend Semihandmade. I hope my experience helps SHM to identify areas to improve both quality control and customer care, but mostly that you as a customer like me is warned and seriously looks at all the other options before you purchase from this company, I wish we had.
