Linda is also proactive, when we ordered a specific linear drain she also informed us that we would need an additional part to make the drain connection. We are now starting to take delivery on our order. Because of the nature of construction projects/contractors timely delivery from Synder Diamond is critical. Linda has continued to follow through on our order and has helped Courtney to problem solve to be sure we have what we need when the contractors are scheduled to work. Our experience at the Van Nuys office was frustrating and costly to our project timeline. Jesse De Regil told us our shower set order would arrive within a week. It didn't -- and we only found out because we had to follow up ourselves four days later. Jesse wasn't available, so Denisse Trejo informed us the items wouldn't ship until the end of May, a full month behind schedule. We had to cancel the order because the delay puts our entire installation timeline at risk. Jesse should have verified stock availability before taking our order. Instead, we were given information that turned out to be inaccurate, with no proactive communication about the delay. This level of service is not acceptable, and we hope steps are taken to prevent this from happening to other customers. We ordered from Fergusson - no issue. read more

Be aware that almost everything I've purchased from this company has been defective. While they are very quick to make a sale and collect your money, the so-called "top-of-the-line" products they sell have repeatedly failed within a year of purchase. When issues arise, they send out repair technicians who have been unprofessional and seem more focused on temporary fixes than actually resolving the problem or replacing defective appliances. The first repair person said my washer was fine even though there was smoke coming out of it and making sounds you could hear from a mile away. Second person came out and said it was defective, but didn't repair it. My most recent experience was especially frustrating. The repair technician expected me to move my washer so he could work on it. I had recently undergone a C-section and had a newborn at home, so physically moving a heavy appliance was not possible for me. More importantly, I don't understand why a customer would be expected to move a large appliance for a scheduled repair service in the first place. My dishwasher I can't use because everything comes out dirty and cloudy. My oven needs a fan replacement. Overall, the products and customer service have been extremely disappointing. read more

There's a fair amount of showroom appliances which is very helpful. They have a lot high end brands. There is sufficient staffing to help you. Some are more knowledgeable than others. I recently coordinated an appliance delivery for one of my clients through Snyder Diamond Pasadena, and overall the experience was very positive. I want to give special recognition to the delivery team--Luis and Alvaro--who went above and beyond. They put in serious effort to lift and maneuver heavy appliances up a flight of stairs to the property. Their professionalism, strength, and attitude were impressive and truly appreciated. The sales rep was helpful and pleasant throughout the process, but there's definitely room for improvement in delivery coordination. I had communicated several times in advance that the appliances would need to go up stairs, but that detail didn't seem to make it into the actual delivery plan. My contractor was a previous customer from this store. I was referred by him to speak with Joe or Jose but they weren't available. The store has a great showroom! I came looking for a hood range which I knew nothing about. I was then helped by the receptionist which led me to meet Jean Chen. Jean didn't seem interested in helping me and her attitude was kind of passive aggressive. It seemed like she was ready to go home because it was an hour before closing. I gave her some details of my kitchen build with measurements and pictures for the range insert. I felt she tried to steer me away while talking to me with her back turned and tried keeping our conversation short. At that point, she just gave me her business card and I just told her im just going to look around. But I got what information I needed from the showroom and I'm just going to purchase it elsewhere. This place has the worst service and they refuse to deliver your items after they are fully paid for. I ordered $100,000 worth of appliances. I am waiting on the rest of my wine refrigerator and my two dishwashers. They will not even return my calls because they contend I owe them $1000 for the front of the wine refrigerator. When you order a refrigerator don't you assume that the front comes with it? The manager put the order in, asked me if I wanted wood or stainless steel, I said stainless steel and now they are claiming I need to pay $1000 more to get the front of the wine refrigerator. Just want to give a BIG Thank you and publicize my personal appreciation to Willy and Walter at Snyder Diamond, Pasadena for their excellent customer service. Both went above and beyond the call of duty to help me find parts to our discontinued Grohe bathroom sink fixture that we purchased from them years ago and now very difficult to find. Our sink lever handle on the cold side was frozen and the plumber could not fix and told us to get a whole new sink fixture. But, problem is we have matching sink, tub and shower fixtures and we cannot change the shower fixture without breaking tile due to Grohe'z specific cartridge. Walter helped me research parts and print out product assembly of the fixture and said that he would call Grohe and call me after the weekend. To my surprise, he actually did. He said that he had found some parts for me. So, I went back with my sink lever and the broken cartridge to see what part he had found. Willy was there today and he, too, helped me immensely. Without asking, he worked really hard to try and get the cartridge out...an impossible task, but somehow he did it. Thank God. I couldn't believe it. He said it was really hard to do. I was amazed and so grateful. There is a piece on the lever that is still frozen and he recommended soaking overnight in vinegar. If that doesn't work, we can purchase the part Walter found. Although, we are not done solving the problem entirely yet.
