Our experience with product experts, John and Linda, at Snyder Diamond was exceptional from start to finish! John was the first person I spoke with over the phone, and he patiently listened as I explained our unique kitchen layout. To create a more open walkway between our kitchen and living room, we needed an extra tall, narrow 30" x 80" European-style refrigerator. As it turns out, the only freestanding model sold in the U.S. that fit our requirements is made by the German brand Liebherr. The frustrating part was that although other retailers near us offered the refrigerator for sale, none of the showrooms had the model on display. But guess who did? Snyder Diamond! So we made our way to Pasadena, and we're glad we did. Linda warmly welcomed us and immediately took us over to the Liebherr refrigerator. It is beautiful, well built and checked every box on our wish list. Linda was very knowledgeable and generous with her time. We ended up walking around the showroom with her, picking her brain about everything from kitchen fixtures to appliances. When I mentioned I was a coffee addict, she even offered me a cup from their built-in Miele machine--a small gesture that reflected the personal service we received. The showroom itself is beautifully organized, with a huge variety of high-quality appliances and fixtures. We highly recommend anyone planning a kitchen or home renovation to visit this family-owned business. They've been in business for decades, and have an interesting history to share. Our experience at the Van Nuys office was frustrating and costly to our project timeline. Jesse De Regil told us our shower set order would arrive within a week. It didn't -- and we only found out because we had to follow up ourselves four days later. Jesse wasn't available, so Denisse Trejo informed us the items wouldn't ship until the end of May, a full month behind schedule. We had to cancel the order because the delay puts our entire installation timeline at risk. Jesse should have verified stock availability before taking our order. Instead, we were given information that turned out to be inaccurate, with no proactive communication about the delay. This level of service is not acceptable, and we hope steps are taken to prevent this from happening to other customers. We ordered from Fergusson - no issue. read more

Be aware that almost everything I've purchased from this company has been defective. While they are very quick to make a sale and collect your money, the so-called "top-of-the-line" products they sell have repeatedly failed within a year of purchase. When issues arise, they send out repair technicians who have been unprofessional and seem more focused on temporary fixes than actually resolving the problem or replacing defective appliances. The first repair person said my washer was fine even though there was smoke coming out of it and making sounds you could hear from a mile away. Second person came out and said it was defective, but didn't repair it. My most recent experience was especially frustrating. The repair technician expected me to move my washer so he could work on it. I had recently undergone a C-section and had a newborn at home, so physically moving a heavy appliance was not possible for me. More importantly, I don't understand why a customer would be expected to move a large appliance for a scheduled repair service in the first place. My dishwasher I can't use because everything comes out dirty and cloudy. My oven needs a fan replacement. Overall, the products and customer service have been extremely disappointing. read more

I am waiting on the rest of my wine refrigerator and my two dishwashers. They will not even return my calls because they contend I owe them $1000 for the front of the wine refrigerator. When you order a refrigerator don't you assume that the front comes with it? The manager put the order in, asked me if I wanted wood or stainless steel, I said stainless steel and now they are claiming I need to pay $1000 more to get the front of the wine refrigerator.
