She was so knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, making it easy to make a purchase decision in one visit. I'd visited competitors but didn't feel quite satisfied. Snyder Diamond had my first choice range on display to touch and feel which the competitors did not. Linda answered all my questions and I purchased with confidence. The experience was 100 percent satisfying and so was the follow-up before and after installation. I can't believe I got that level of service while paying the exact price as offered by the big box stores. She also coordinated the installation with an outside company. My wife and I went to Snyder Diamond in Pasadena this past Saturday to look at gas ranges and refrigerators and received great assistance from Michael Bodine. We spent about three hours there and Michael was patient, courteous, and super knowledgeable about all the ranges we were interested in (namely Thermador, BlueStar, and Wolf). Michael inquired about our normal cooking styles/needs and analyzed various models of ranges to us in great details. Michael is super knowledgeable about appliances that he's selling. When we first started planning our new kitchen, we went to a couple of smaller stores to look for appliances. The reason we went to Snyder Diamond in Pasadena was because they had such a huge showroom and we were able to see and examine the appliances. That was August 23, 2024. That very day we placed an order for the appliances. About a week later we came back and ordered the sink, faucet, garbage disposal, pot filler and all the cabinet hardware. The kitchen renovation was to begin on October 7 and we were told that everything but the appliances would be delivered to us on October 4. When that did not happen, we called Snyder Dimond and told them that we had to have the sink by October 9 when the fabricator would need to measure it for our countertops. That was the only item that was delivered. We had to drive out to their warehouse twice to pick up faucets and garbage disposal because they could not deliver on time. The icing on the cake was that the air switch for the garbage disposal did not come. Of course we could not use the dishwasher or garbage disposal without one. Our kitchen was completed on October 16 and we called Snyder Diamond to cancel the air switch order. We purchased one from Amazon that works just fine. Since then we called the store several times and told them to cancel the order on the air switch and we were told three times by two different people that the order was cancelled and we would get a refund. Today is December 19 and the air switch was finally delivered to us (more than 70 days after promised). We ended up driving into Pasadena today to take the air switch back and demand an immediate credit to our credit card. Snyder Diamond has a beautiful showroom. But I would never buy from them again. And I am telling family and friends that are planning projects not to trust Snyder Dimond. The rest of our kitchen renovation ran like clockwork. It's unfortunate that our dealing with Snyder Dimond was not satisfactory or professional. read more

Let me say first! The bathroom is horrible!!! This place sells expensive toilets and high end appliances and the restroom is so bad and not handicap accessible makes you want to leave. Lucky they had a Lovely lady named Jean who sold me the Wolf range I've always wanted. Just so let down by the store appearance aand up keep. We needed some new bathroom fixtures for tub and sink. I decided to call, send someone some pics of what we had and let them do the work and find something similar. Aminata answered that call and went above and beyond! She found options that were similar as a good starting point. She then walked us around the showroom and we found that we liked other styles. She went with the flow and helped find fixtures that would work with our setup - 4 hole vs 5 hole Roman tub. It's not cheap and neither was our first set. I have bought many kitchen appliances from this high end store in Pasadena in the past. This is the deal: when it comes to big famous brands , Snyder is equal to others like Pirch in Glendale as these brands have a price lock that is also not negotiable( ex Wolf, Subzero, Kalamazoo , Miele). This store falls back in the rating because they are more expensive for the small accessories ( faucets, water purifiers, etc..) and they are not willing to negotiate a discount. Some of their staff are loud, over the top at times and make for a " funny " but somewhat less professional experience. Some staff members on the other hand in the smaller items department in the back are hard working and pleasant. Finally, I don't appreciate over promises like suggesting to try to get a rebate from a major german appliance company for an exorbitant repair! read more

I worked with John or Jon maybe to buy Toto Ultramax 2 toilets. He was excellent, reliable, and knowledgeable about the product and professional from sale to final delivery. I previously tried to buy Toto toilets from Pacific Kitchen and Home in Irvine and had an atrocious experience where after making the sale they ghosted me when it came to delivery. So I suppose my experience with Snyder is colored by the contrast of that. I guess everything in life is like that. I wish I had gone to Snyder first to buy Totos and never dealt with Pacific Kitchen and Home. I hate them with the fire of a thousand fires. No that's too extreme. The purpose of this visit was purely maintenance; a clogged faucet from sand and other debris. However, when I saw all the type of faucets, and plumbing, I was like a child in a candy store. I spent a good amount of money here on my home remodel but now I have quality things now! Service: everybody was helpful. The manager Brian cousins was a huge help by resolving a problem we had with a vendor dispute (his contacts help!). They even had water and other things in a few of the working refrigerators- just nice! Ambiance: beautiful part of pasadena in an awesome looking historic building. We are very disappointed with the level service we received at Snyder Diamond. our family has purchased from SD for years and spent a great deal of money at their Santa Monica store. We embarked on a remodel in October 2022 and advised them of a specific timetable in advance and asked to purchase products that were stocked and readily available. Now two months after placing orders they are telling us they do not have stock and are blaming the delay on us for ordering during the holidays and advising us now of Cal compliance issues. Why did they not know about compliance issues when they sold us the product? They made no effort to apologize, find solutions or offer concessions to make us a happy customer. We will definitely use Ferguson/Build.com in the future. Ferguson shipped on time, offered excellent service and made us a happy customer. Very disappointed! read more

I felt so underdressed coming in here in jeans and a T-shirt.. this really is a high-end store and I had a sinking feeling that I'd get looked down at with my pleb wardrobe, but at the core of it all, the staff is very helpful and friendly. They didn't have a kitchen faucet that we were looking for in the store, but Isaias S. was very helpful in looking through various catalogs for us and helping us find one that suited our needs. Today, i was very frustrated by a shady service repair company for my Thermado refrigerator ice maker. The idea came to my mind to call Snyder Diamond where i bough the refrigerator . i did and to my delight, i talked to Ms. Linda Lopez about my issue. She was very empathetic and knowledgable. she was able to locate my refrigerator and set up a service call with an authorized Thermador technician. The world needs people like you Linda. Well I will start off by saying I don't like to angry Yelp but after sitting around 7 hours waiting for a box that would have fit in a two door sports car I am pissed off. You don't go to Snyder Diamond to buy cheap stuff and you expect (in theory) better service, competence and execution. Well such is not my experience based on my latest purchase. My special order finally arrived last Thursday and I was eager for I drive 30 miles to pick it up. First I wanted to confirm my time would. It be wasters so I wanted to make sure it was where it needed to be. Well it had arrived but it was in the Burbank warehouse. I would have been willing to drive there but the girl who Was helping me (sort of) seemed to encourage then shipping it to me the following Wednesday for free. I got the sense it wouldn't be easy to pick it up. In hindsight I should have pushed for that. I let them know I had a counter fabricator coming by at 5 pm and so she pulled some strings (as she put it) and got me a 12-3 slot. I said ok but I needed it no later than 3. Well 3 comes and goes and I call the warehouse (they never called me) and they said they were running behind (well duh and of course) I told them it needed to already be here and I had my fabricator coming over at 5. They said it should be there between 5:00-5:30. If you are gonna buy that I have some penny stocks to sell you. Well about 7:00 pm they show up and bring the 7 pound box to my porch and there great effort is over. F me! Of course they will not do Schitt about it and I'm being nice by leaving the names out of it as they have minimal control over the drivers out there in the road. I guess I'm also kissed at myself for not pushing to pick this little Fn box up. Oh what's in the box? They are called Palmer Legs a bathroom console without a counter for a mere $2600. Off the shelf they can run $600-$900 but I needed it custom so I'm laying the penalty. Their are a few other places out there like Snyder Diamond (Pacific Sales) but they suck too especially since they got a keener by Best Buy. Try anyplace else. I got a bunch of sub zero wolf appliances as well as soon plumbing fixtures and Leon was the most knowledgeable. COVID environment has affected our shopping habits in a very major way during these two years. Our expectation of not being serviced or waiting in line has become a way of life. This does not apply when I shop with Snyder Diamond. That is because of a very good specialist, Raymond Deravakian, in the Pasadena branch. For that, it prompts me to take the time and acknowledge the genuine effort and interest of Raymond Deravakian in providing exceptional service to reach utmost customer satisfaction. Look at my reviews, you'll notice I try to only post positive reviews as I recognize we all have bad or "off" days here and there, and I know the power of the Yelp-machine to break good, hard working small businesses based on a few bad reviews. So, time to get it off my chest. Buckle up kids, I'm gonna complain. Allow my frustration be your cautionary tale... I was getting ready to renovate my home. I knew I wanted to drop a pretty penny as I'd been having kitchen envy lately and had worked hard for many years. I was pretty certain I wanted a Thermador appliance suite, but wanted to see other brands in situ and not just in a glossy magazine or on the internet. My designer had recommended a great little appliance place in La Canada. It was a rare, rainy Saturday in SoCal. Sorry folks, im not doing my hair or wearing nice clothes. I want to be comfy as I prepare to drop some dough. We start at MD in La Canada. Those guys were welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was ready to buy, but decide I really want to see a larger showroom that also had plumbing fixtures...so, off down the 210 we go. Arrive at Snyder Diamond. It's the SO, his 20yo daughter, and myself. We walk in and are obviously ignored. There were refreshments set up near the door. The lady who walked in with the designer purse, teacup pooch, and diamonds was promptly greeted by not one, but two salespeople near the doors and offered warm coffee. "Shake it off," I tell myself. "You're on a mission." We decide to divide and conquer the large, sparkly showroom. Not one "hello," "welcome," or "can I offer any assistance?" I was getting frustrated. In the kitchen displays, I saw an ultra-modern layout and was interested in the brand displayed (don't even remember which one now) and had a question. We now try intentionally to get assistance and were still ignored. I look up to see two ladies up in mezzanine/design area looking down at us. I make eye contact and prepare to ask up for help. They. Both. Turned. Their. Backs. Complete ridiculousness and I am furious. As no one would assist us with questions, we decide to leave. Here's the thing: I saw plumbing fixtures and all appliances I wanted to purchase here. It would've been nice to place one order for all. Being that most high end appliances are price fixed, who you purchase from is a choice we decided to make based on the customer service. Apparently, based on appearances, my $20K cash was not as good as the other people in the showroom who were being fawned over by multiple salespeople. Out we went never to look back. Back on the 210 to La Canada where we purchased a 36" Thermador range, Thermador dishwasher, Sharp Microwave drawer, Kitchen Aid fridge, and a custom range hood from a group of wonderful people at MD Appliances (818-790-2700). Just writing this has stoked anger. This was a blatant case of judging books by covers. It cost Snyder Diamond my sale for sure, and I hope you will think twice before gracing their doors with your wonderful yelper self. I cannot praise MD Appliances enough. I also highly recommend a visit to Pirch in Glendale, or the Ferguson showroom on Lake Ave. in Pasadena if you are looking for design ideas. From me, Snyder Diamond has earned one star, solely based on the amount of different items and brands on display. read more
