Ramon and his designer Jessica came to our home to take measurements and photos, and within a few days, they had a 3D design and quote. My husband and I had a loose idea of what we wanted, but we're not designers. So, we appreciated Ramon's background in custom design. Also, we NEVER had an issue getting in touch with them if we had a question. Once demo started, Ramon and Jessica were very involved. Ramon was at the house almost every day and he made sure to check in with us throughout the process to make sure we were all on the same page. We even made a few changes right in the middle of the process, but Ramon and Jessica were always happy to work with us. They also made it very clear what modifications they could make and stay within our strict budget. We contracted Ramon to redo the bathroom and garage floor. Both projects were incomplete and poorly done. The epoxy on the floor peeled in a few weeks after it was done. The bathroom topside of the wall was not covered and painted. I contacted him multiple times to fix the problems but it's not follow up. This company does not honor their warranty. read more

After receiving 6 quotes for our guest bathroom remodel, we decided to go with SPFX. The quote from SPFX was competitive and Ramon seemed motivated to give us the bathroom we envisioned. The remodel consisted of a complete demo with shower and bathtub walls taken down to the studs. Ramon directed the remodel, drawing city permits and the three inspections were passed without any difficulties. We purchased the plumbing fixtures separately and Ramon had them installed. SPFX supplied the rough plumbing in the walls, electrical work, the wall tile, floor tile, quartz countertop, cabinets, paint, shower glass doors and incidentals as part of the service. There were a good selection of options for the items we chose. Lana, in the office did a great job facilitating the ordering of products we chose to keep the job on task without any delays. Ramon was available, easy to work with and took full responsibility for getting the project completed to our satisfaction. We bought our house in 2001, which was built in 1980s. We had one month to do remodelling, back then. So everything we did was rushed, and never quite to my satisfaction. We always wished we could have done better. So, this time, we took more time to get exactly what we wanted. We had 3 bids on our remodeling project. Balancing cost with design, promised quality of workmanship, and time to completion, we picked SPFX. At the end of it all, we are very happy we made the choice to go with Ramon & SPFX. In our Kitchen and Family Room remodel, we wanted to replace all the cabinets, install new floors, new countertops, and resurface and paint all the walls and ceilings, new crown & base molding. We also needed some structural changes. SPFX did very good work for us. They were good in the design, construction, and finishing all the little details. Also, they were very good in communications to us, as the project moved along. Ramon always discussed with us along the way, about different materials, colors, and other options, to make sure he understood what we really wanted. Ramon and SPFX were very meticulous and careful with details. Cleaning up the work space daily, covering floors, keeping dust as much as possible out of the rest of the house, and installing all our new appliances and cabinets with no dings, scratches or dents. Late to the party/review. We had a main bath remodel done last March 2018. We have an older house with a cracked drain pipe that leaded and causes damage to wall/closet behind the tub and was leaking on the carpet. We got various estimates, we walked onto the store picked out tiles, flooring, color of cabinets etc. We got an estimate from Jessica which was in the middle range. We signed a contract a few days later we handed her a key and left for vacation. Jessica sent me pics of the demo and progress I think it took 2 days longer because of delays with the tile. So I called in to see about getting my kitchen remodeled, Ramon came to check it out and we agreed on a price and at this point I was extremely happy, about a week passes by and he calls me and tells me that it is going to cost a substantial amount of money more and when I asked him why he couldn't really give an explanation all he told me was that the type of materials he had to use were more costly for my style of house which I know isn't true because I've had others work on my house before and have heard no such thing, all in all I didn't like the price and Ramon was a real jerk to me about it, he didn't want to budge on the price and treated me in a very disrespectful manner, if you value your time and money I advise you steer clear of this place and go with someone who can be professional and respectful. read more

Well like you all know finding a contractor that is honest does good work is hard to find in itself. My wife and i looked for a good 4-6 months before we made the right decision in a contractor. If I could I would give SPFX and his staff 10 STARS. not only they were much lower than most on the remodeling quote for my kitchen and floors; but they went out of their way to provide every request and detail we asked for. Our kitchen is small so we wanted a very functional kitchen. He included an integrated spice rack and trash/recycling bin along with our most important request; a cabinet that will conceal the dishes that were just washed so we didn't waste counter or sink space. Our pantry and pot and pans cabinets all have pull out shelves so that we can find stuff in the back end as easy as in the front of the shelve.
