Nice store and a lot of helpful employees on the grand opening day! The fitting rooms are huge and have great lighting and mirrors. I was happy to find a shirt that has been sold out online. 1 star for the brand, not this specific store. Arc'teryx gear is expensive, and I always figured it was for the quality and that'd they'd stand behind their products. But I had a shell that was lightly used for running errands and stuff like that - nothing hard core. And then I wore it one weekend recently, and 3 zippers delaminated in different places (front outer pocket and vents). The fact that all three locations separated at the same time clearly indicated a material or workmanship defect. I went through their warranty process, and in the end, they gave me what felt like a stock response, that it was due to "contamination" like sweat and oils on the interior of the jacket so it wasn't covered by the warranty (but they'd give me a gift card for 20% of the value of the coat). Again, this jacket was not heavily used, so it was clean on the inside and outside - and that explanation makes no sense for the outer front pocket at all. So just know that if you're going to spend your money on Arc'teryx goods, their warranty is useless and they won't help you if your stuff later turns out to be defective. read more

Definitely a high quality store so you know what you are going to get as far as products when you go in there. What I did notice was the friendly customer service. Five stars for the Pasadena Arc'teryx store, five stars for the jacket we bought, and mostly, five stars for Ann at the Pasadena store! With only a picture of the jacket we wanted, Ann identified the jacket for us (Thorium - black), however the color and size we needed was out of stock at the four Arc'teryx locations within driving distance (Newport Beach, Pasadena, and two others in the LA area). Ann did a search and found one at an Arc'teryx store several states away. She had it sent to Pasadena, it was there in two days, drove up to the very nice Pasadena Arc'teryx store to buy it, we are very happy with it. Very warm, comfortable, material is like silk, and looks great. Very pleased with the jacket, enjoyed being in the store, and very impressed by the service provided by Ann. She clearly had a real interest in getting us the jacket we wanted, and went above and beyond in her effort in getting it to us. Because of her dedication, we went from not knowing what we were going to do to wearing the jacket we wanted in four days. And this was during the holidays! A great brand with great people. I had never heard of the Arc'teryx brand before, but after this experience, I surely want to do business with Arc'teryx, and hopefully Ann, again! read more

The store is very small and the sales staff is sub par - unprofessional, poorly trained, disorganized, and prone to mistakes. The store is not well stocked and such a small store is guaranteed to fail - not sure why Arc'teryx bothered with such a small footprint except as a trial. We love the brand but will continue shopping at the the La Brea location - far superior service and stock. read more

I recently (5/23) went to the Arc'teryx store in Pasadena yesterday. I was just casually shopping around to see if they had a certain shoe I looked at online - in the store. They had the shoe but not the color so I was on my way out. I was stopped by a lead and they asked me about the shoes I was currently wearing (which were the salomon x marie jane's) and we were talking about shoes and I told him that ones I was interested in and the color and we got into a conversation about styles, shoes, and lifestyle. We then kind of went back to talking about shoes and they ended up having my shoe size in store (but still not the color) I tried them on and they felt heavenly! I tried them on for a bit and decided to buy them! I believe his name was Hayden so I wanted to post a review and make sure he gets his flowers and let the managers be known that he's a great employee! Give him a raise! read more
