I found Ellen's Silkscreening online while looking for a business that did embroidery work. On a Sunday evening, I sent an email regarding my small project and I was contacted the next morning by AnnMarie. She asked what I was looking for and gave me information on their minimum order. I explained what I was hoping to do for a golf outing at the end of the month and when I would need them. I know I was pushing it because I arrived at my decision to do this quite late in the game. AnnMarie responded to my information and told me that the workload was such that they could not accommodate my request. She also told me that she even tried to move their schedule to accommodate me but that wasn't possible. Despite their inability to fill my need, I was completely blown away and thoroughly impressed by what AnnMarie did next. She gave me the name of a competitor in Pasadena that she recommended highly. In the future, if I am in need of embroidery or silkscreening, I will make my first call to AnnMarie at Ellen's Silkscreening. read more

Howard, and his crew provided the best efficient, customer service and quick turn around for receiving our orders. We worked together to custom design our ICU sweaters, caps and Jackets. Howard, was patient with all our concerns and made sure everything was perfect. I look forward to coming back and having our T-shirts made. Thank you again Howard and Team. read more

We recently did a very large order with Ellen's Silkscreening and our experience was absolutely delightful. Not only were the staff very pleasant, we both communicated efficiently as to what exactly we wanted and what product could be done, but the final product was beautiful! The T-shirts we received were so comfortable and exactly how we envisioned them. Not to mention we got so many compliments on our new merch! We are now a life-long customer. - The MASTERSFX Team read more

Ellen's Silkscreening was a lot of fun to work with. AnnMarie was very pleasant and an active listener. She was able to help me produce the shirts exactly the way I envisioned them to look and feel at a very fair price. It was an effortless transaction and will definitely come back! read more

Howard and the team at Ellen's continue to give us the most incredible customer service and professional product. It is not surprising that they CONTINUE to get 5 Star reviews. read more

Ellen's has been EXCELLENT to work with!!! I have coordinated with Ellen's for a Mother & Daughter Girl Scout troop of 40 ordering custom hoodies for a trip to San Francisco, for a summer camp with sizes fitting those from Kindergarten - Adult with tons of different colors and sizes and Ellen's did not miss a beat! Most recently I ordered shirts for the South Pasadena Girl Scouts and again they were top notch. I appreciate how they support non-profits and are local. I truly feel they have a pride of workmanship and a commitment to their customers that feels rare in these days of big box stores. They seem able to accommodate orders for small groups to huge corporations - I 100% recommend them. read more

We are so grateful to Ellen's for fulfilling our school's merchandise order! We had a few issues with the product and Howard went above and beyond to make it more than right. We considered using Custom Ink but Ellen's prices were so much better and we were thrilled to support a local business. We know why they have 36 5 star reviews and are looking forward to working with them on all future orders! read more

We needed 60 t-shirts for a fundraiser. I found Ellen's through a recommendation on Nextdoor, and I feel so fortunate to have found them. I worked with Tony who was such a pleasure to work with. He was very communicative and kept us on schedule to meet our deadlines. The advice and service he offered was spot on. Our t-shirts were delivered on time and everyone was very happy with the results. I would highly recommend this company and will use them for any other future events. read more

I have been using Ellen's for all my silk screening, and embroidery business for many years now. Worth the 45 minute drive. Very quality work, friendly and helpful. Really looking forward to the t-shirts they are going to do for an organization I volunteer with. So excited! read more

I had the pleasure of being introduced to Jan today, who worked with me when I inquired about having t shirts and tote bags made. My business (Regina's Music Studio) was expanding, and I was ready to have promotional materials made. Jan was courteous, polite, friendly, and helpful. Following a big smile and firm handshake, Jan walked me through Ellen's process of silkscreened t shirts (I'm new to all of this!) and went into detail on how their products are not made in sweatshops. I probably asked Jan about a million questions, and he had a quick and informative answer to every single one. Because I was in a rush, I gave Jan my email address to forward quotes for the t shirts and bags to. In less than one hour, I was sent two PDFs with quotes for both of them. Incredible service. I look forward to working with Jan and Ellen's Silkscreening in the very near future. Five stars! read more

The company I work for needed shirts made for several departments including our logo and department name. Tony helped me from start to finish and provided amazing customer service, despite our changing order and different requests. He was thorough, professional, and responsive. Always willing to take a phone call and answered emails the day of. We picked up our shirts a couple weeks ago and everyone is very happy with how they turned out. We will definitely be using Ellen's again! read more

I just ordered shirts from Ellen's Silkscreening after our kids forgot to get their tshirt order in for school and we were panicked. They were able to get us great 100% cotton tshirts - in all the sizes we need - with gorgeous screening in just one day. They worked with us on cost and our budget (LAUSD is so tight!!). The shirts came out PERFECT. The price was awesome, and the people who work at Ellen's could not be any nicer to deal with. Plus - I was so happy in the end that we did not end up ordering on line from some company in another part of the country and I was happy were able to support a local family business in our neighborhood. For Shirts, Hats, other promo items for School, Church, Bar or Bat Mitzvah - they are great! I recommend Ellen's to everyone! Howard and his team are the greatest!!! read more

Super great staff and customer service. Made practice softball jerseys for over 100 players. Highly recommended them.

Its cool that they can digital a logo/artwork to output it as embroidery. They also carry glassware, mugs, and pens. They embroider or silkscreen backpacks and sportswear. This is for someone who would invest in a hat for promotion. You have to decide if you want your silkscreen to be 4-color, index, or spot color. read more

Ellen's Silkscreening is a truly exceptional business and they totally saved the day for me. These folks just get it. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon them after being kicked around by several other silkscreening shops around town. My company was throwing a huge client appreciation event and we needed embroidered hats, custom blankets, and silk screened t-shirts. I assumed that all silk screening shops are basically the same and boy was I mistaken. Before finding Ellen's I tried working with 3 different shops. The issues I ran into were many -- embarrassing quality of workmanship, non-existent customer service, and frustrating miscommunications (just to name a few). With 3 days 'til the event I finally had to fire the different print shops I was working with because they were either giving me terrible samples (all of which I had to pay for) or stringing me along (e.g. "yes we can make the deadline...oh, wait, no we can't make it...actually, maybe we make it work, let me text somebody and get back to you...") I was ready to give up but thought I'd make one final attempt to see if somebody could put together a rush order for me. As soon as I called Ellen's I knew I was in for something different than the experience I had over the previous 6 weeks of dealing with the other shops. At Ellen's there was actually a friendly, professional front office person (Caitlin) who answered my phone call. She said that yes, they could, in fact, help me. She put me in contact with their head of production (Ann Marie) who explained that unlike most other shops, Ellen's does all of their work in-house rather than contracting it out so they can maintain extremely high quality and quick turnaround times. I went to their shop and met with Ann Marie and she offered to give me a tour of their facility and then introduced me to the whole team (WOW!) The rest of the story from here is all sunshine and rainbows. They completed my rush order with time to spare and with an outstanding level of quality. They communicated with me throughout the process. AND they charged me a very reasonable fee, which was less than I was quoted from the subpar shops I had previously dealt with. OH and here's the kicker....Ellen herself actually called me a few days after the order was filled to check up on me and make sure I was satisfied and had a good experience. Like I said...this is a truly exceptional business :) Best silkscreening shop in Los Angeles for my money! read more

I recently placed an order for a school event at Ellen's through Jan P. He was excellent from the start and worked within our school's budget. Jan was very professional and returned my inquiries in a timely and efficient manner which I truly appreciate. We had originally planned on ordering online from another state and Jan gave a quote that can't be beat! I have already passed your business card to our school office for next year! Thank you, Jan! read more

I was looking for a company to make some uniforms for myself to wear at work. I was lucky that I found Ellen's. It is a great company to do business with! They are very nice people, honest, and their price is super competitive! I worked with Tony, who took great care of my need and was very detail focused. Tony walked me through the whole process, including choosing the apparels, giving me advises on sizes of the design, and communicating with the production team to make sure that all my needs were met. He was super attentive, and there was no pushy involved at all in whole process. I felt very comfortable and pleased. Most importantly, when I received my customized uniforms, I was wowed by the quality of them. I have to admit that everything was beyond my expectation. I will come back for more staff. If you were reading this review and looking for silkscreening, please go ahead and contact them, you will be satisfied with everything just like I am. read more

Our neighborhood association ordered shirts from Ellen's for our annual block party and the experience really couldn't have been any better. Ann Marie was an absolute joy to work with; she was always friendly, responsive and creative (offering suggestions that really made our shirts the resounding success that they were). Their work was of the best quality, priced fairly and was completed on time. To top it all off, Ellen followed up by leaving the nicest voicemail for me. I will definitely be back. read more

A friend recommended Ellen's Silkscreening to me for some shirts that I needed to get printed for a work conference. They completed the shirts and I went to pick them up. When I got there, I felt that they looked totally great, but I noticed- oh no, one of the words is misspelled!! It was our fault because the person who reviewed the proof did not notice the misspelling. It was a big problem because I was leaving for the conference in 2 days and had to take the shirts with me. Also, we are a non-profit organization and the idea of paying for a whole bunch of new shirts (IF they could even manage to do them in time) was daunting. Luckily, Ellen's Silkscreening came to my rescue! They thought of a great way to fix the misspelling on the shirts and it was barely noticeable (in fact, nobody outside our office even realized!). PLUS they finished the corrections on time for me to pick them up before leaving for the conference and they didn't charge us extra. WOW! Really amazing customer service. They were great to work with, professional and friendly, and definitely went the extra mile for a new customer. I would not hesitate to recommend them! read more

I walked into Ellen's Silkscreening not knowing what to expect and knowing I had a big job to do. I was met with warm interest in my project, feasible options in how to get it done and a great timetable as well as reassurance on how this could be done, and done well. I was thoroughly satisfied with Ellen's help and support to get these t-shirts made on time and exactly as we had discussed. I highly recommend Ellen's Silkscreening. read more

When our company reorganized and changed its logo and branded clothing items, we reached out to Anne Marie to create some items not yet available to us. She was a totally professional consultative partner in the process, responding to questions and changes quickly, and we were so pleased with the results of the 3 orders we placed for her that we have recommended her to our other company locations in the Greater L.A. area. The level of service we received from her was so high, that we assumed we were one of her larger customers, until we discovered, when she and Ellen conducted a presentation at a recent Chamber of Commerce meeting, that we are very small indeed, compared with Ellen's other customers. It is high praise indeed, to say that Anne Marie has always treated us like we were her company's most important customer! read more

I love Ellen's. They've made me some fantastic shirts for a big bike race I sponsored the last few years. They meet deadlines even on short notice. Staff is friendly and attentive in every respect. Seriously, I want to work there. I absolutely recommend. read more

I've been ordering shirts and promotional products from Ellen's for years! Top of the line apparel and beautiful silkscreening. I've tried online vendors for small orders and the quality is so poor compared to Ellen's. Ellen and her team are thorough and detail oriented. They always help me with the whole process: idea conception, art design, production, and turnaround. I can be a little high maintenance and call/email often. Their customer service puts up with me and is so great! read more

I was referred to Ellen's Silkscreening by a digital designer we were working with. We were looking for a custom gift for our employees and they came out with great options and samples for us to look at. We only had a photo of an old logo to work with and they were able to provide us with a applique sample that was perfect. We were looking for a retro style look and they nailed it!! They matched the coloring of our garments and had a turn around time that was a week ahead of our event. Very easy to reach with questions and they had suggestions that worked out great. Worked with us on the pricing so we were also able to have our current logo screened onto the garments as well. They were such a hit that we will continue to order more for our VIP customers! This could not have worked out better! read more

I've been using Ellen's since the last century. It's a great place to do business. The staff has always guided me through the process, they keep a file of all my screens and have great suggestions on products. Last year I got all my staff rain jackets for Christmas, and they LOVED them. And they were flattering and stylish too. I get all kinds of shopping bags printed, t-shirts and one year I did a really cute handkerchief. The kids love the cozy American made hoodies and I like supporting local businesses that give back to the community in big ways. And I like the human advertising season after season on well worn lovable products from Ellen's. read more
