I had a very smooth experience here. From the start, they were incredibly helpful and attentive. I showed them a picture of what I wanted, and he guided me through everything, making helpful suggestions along the way. I really appreciated how thorough he was -- he even had me try on my coat to make sure the collar wouldn't block the embroidery placement. They texted me a little over a week later to let me know everything was done. I paid about $89 for two white coat embroideries (including name, degree, and specialty in 2 different fonts). It's not the cheapest option out there, but the quality and excellent customer service made it well worth it. read more

I decided late on looking for either hats or something else for a gathering of 20 golfers in Palm Desert and a local competitor who was unable to embroider 20 golf towels for me, suggested I try this business. I talked to Jose on the phone and he told me to stop by and that he would be able to accommodate my request. He was very helpful and I was able to order the towels with reassurance that I would have them in time for the golf outing. Jose delivered as promised and well within the two week window that was my deadline. The towels look great and he also embroidered two hats for me as well. I couldn't be happier with the results. read more

65 Dollars... for a patch and stiching, did not need it rushed, nor set date for me to pick up, took nearly a month... and photo shows the craftsmanship... not centered and after calling (did not notice at first as did not think about this end result) informed best they can do it was so difficult blah blah... my question is, "then why do it at all?" read more

When you're a procrastinator like me, the downsides are stress and impatience. The upsides? You find services and people who help make dreams come true when you're limited on time. Pasadena Embroidery and Silkscreening is one such place. Three days before my wedding, I decided to get a leather jacket and wanted it embroidered. Etsy might have been a better alternative, but this was definitely a last-second "want" in my life. I could have used vinyl and saved more money, but I didn't want that either. After calling 2-3 places and driving around Pasadena a bit, I called this place, and they said they could help me with my embroidery needs and would be able to do it in the time frame needed. It's important to note that this place is easy to miss, but if you have ever gone to In-N-Out in Pasadena and endured the long wait on the street, you may have overlooked this embroidery location tucked into the cul-de-sac behind the piano store (or whatever you want to call it). I was helped my Manny who looked at my jacket and talked with me about size, font, thread color, and placement. He gave me multiple suggestions, broke down the sizing, and even showed me what the design would look like on his computer. He also gave me different prices for rush ordering (based on when I would need it), and I bit the bullet. It probably would have costed me exponentially less if I hadn't waited, but nonetheless, this place made this pain-in-the-arse millennial's dreams come true for her wedding. Manny was kind, professional, and genuine, and the work that they did here was phenomenal. They also do more professional embroidery and other types of services for clothing and accessory designs which is awesome. I'm thankful that I found this place and that they made my jacket embroidery dreams manifest...it also doesn't hurt that I was able to grab a burger from In-N-Out after placing my order. All in all, come here for embroidery needs! read more

I had been trying to get a specific embroidery done for a infant baseball cap for father's day, I surprisingly had a hard time getting this done. I walked into Manny's shop without an appointment on the friday before Fathers Day and asked if he could do it. After reviewing the details and confirming if the sewing machine could work with such a small hat, etc, we were able to get it done that same day! Mind you, I paid extra for it to be such a rush, and just hours before closing. It was worth it though! I finally had the gift I had been trying to get done for a month. What's sweet as well is that I couldn't make it to the shop for pick up at 5pm due to certain circumstances so Manny offered for me to pick up at another local business he was going to be at with his family. I did, and it was all perfectly smooth and easy. The embroidery was perfect, and the surprise on fathers day went over exactly as I imagined! Thank you Manny for your help, and for going the extra mile! read more

They were very accommodating and helpful in getting my last minute personalized gift embroidered.

I had 2 white coats I needed embroidered to start work the next week. They did such a great job! Really kind and honest, hardworking staff! I ordered through Jose. He was so nice! They ended up making a spelling error but I also made an error on the order as well so we needed to have it corrected. Jose was really great about my mistake and completed the order again within 3 hours. I couldn't even tell there was a mistake. He respaced everything evenly instead of just squeezing in the extra letters so everything was still centered and aligned correctly. Such great work!! I highly recommend this place. He was so understanding about the mistake too. Such sweet people! Give them your business! read more

My company was looking for a place to help us embroider our company logo on backpacks and we found this little gem in Pasadena. Manny was the person that assisted us in the process and he was so helpful and patient. He made sure that we had all the details we needed/wanted and even provided a sample for us before we went ahead and confirmed our bigger order. They completed 25 backpacks in less than 1.5 weeks and they turned out so amazing! I highly recommend coming here for any embroidery project because they are for sure our go to place now! read more

I contacted the owner via Yelp and was quoted $25 to have my name embroidered on the breast of a Northface jacket. Simple block letters, white thread, nothing fancy. Thought $25 was pretty expensive but took the jacket in this morning anyway. Described what I wanted and spelled my first and last name (15 letters total). Ready to go, I was then told the cost would be $49!!! $3.26 per LETTER!!! When I reminded him that he quoted me $25 dollars to embroider my NAME, his response was "I didn't know you wanted your first AND last name." Total bait and switch BS. Raise your hand if you only have a first name and no last name. Took the jacket back and told him I'd be reporting him to Yelp. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS UNETHICAL SHOP! read more

I want to start this review by saying; lack of planning on YOUR part does not constitute an emergency on THEIR part. I had a GREAT experience with this company. My boss needed 7 aprons that needed to be embroidered. She emailed me the design and asked me to find a local company to take care of it. I found this company and went in for a consultation. I gave them the aprons, and emailed them the design. We discussed a color scheme and settled on a price. I paid in advance because I felt confident in their work. I was offered to go back in a few days time and see a proof before they went ahead and embroidered on the actual aprons. I went in, saw the proof and gave the green light to go ahead and embroider on the actual aprons. From start to finish the project took a week. The work was done professionally well, the quality of work was exceptional, and the service was great. I recommend being prepared, giving yourself and them enough time, and having a budget in mind for your project. If you don't plan properly and want something rushed, of course the price is going to go up. read more

So my husband and I found out we are having a boy right after my doctor's visit and the plan was to let our daughter know once she came out of school however my husband wanted to make it special. He came up with a last minute idea to get her a T-Shirt that would read the baby's gender. However after searching online we could not find anything other than shirts that would have to be placed in advance through online shopping and shipped. His next idea was to have it custom made. Many places we called would not do same day or require a dozen to be ordered. Not Pasadena Embroidery & Silk Screening! They not only had it done in a few hours but made it even better than what we envisioned! Thank you so much for making this possible! Excellent customer service! Highly recommend!!! read more

Jose and his team are amazing. I've done multiple projects with them now and they'll always be my go-to. Any reviews proclaiming "too expensive" or not done properly... should be taken with a grain of salt. Jose is very attentive, and responsive I feel like as customers we have a responsibility to do our own due diligence and also communicate with the business if we're unhappy with something. I know Jose well enough to know he would do what it takes to make something right. Support local, and go to this shop for your embroidery or silkscreening needs!!! Thanks Jose :) read more

I was in need of putting some vinyl numbers heat pressed onto my blank reversible jerseys for league basketball. Found this business on yelp, inquired, and he was able to reply to me right away. Dropped off two jerseys, I was able to pick them up within a few days. The quality of the heat press you can tell is a lot nicer than other places. The numbers he put on my jerseys seem like they will last a long time, unlike other places where the number starts peeling off after a while. The owner Manny is super nice and easy to talk to. Overall, customer service is great and the quality of the jersey numbers put on my jerseys were great. Highly recommend. read more

Needed a quick baby romper embroidered with an initial for my grandsons baptism they were able to do it within 3 days and it was very nice.

Let me begin by stating I have a guy who as always taken care of my embroidery needs in the past. Let me continue by stating that I am the type of guy who has needed shirts embroidered on more than one occasion. With that in mind, what happens when your regular guy isn't available? You look for a new guy!! Pasadena Embroidery is my new guy! I needed a few shirts with a corporate logo embroidered and my usual embroidery guy was swamped with orders, so I made a number of phone calls and Pasadena Embroidery was not only willing to meet my unreasonable deadlines, but they offered the most agressive pricing in the area. You see, it can be both expensive and complicated to get shirts embroidered with a corporate logo as there is a digitization process where the shop has to prepare the logo for embroidery (from a print out). This is quite time consuming, with some shops quoting longer than a week just for the digitization and another week for the actual stitching. Pasadena Embroidery had the logo digitized with a proof done for me within two days and had the entire job done earlier than the had quoted (less than a week). I'd definitely come back...I left really impressed. Thanks. Jose!! ________________________________ Notes: * They do embroidery, silkscreening, signage, business cards, etc...all in house. * They were the only embroiderer in the area that would actually source shirts for me (although I ended up bringing my own). They even have a showroom with samples of what they can get for you. * No MOQs. Although it's always more cost effective to order more, you can order in any quantity. read more

Came here to get my stockings embroidered for Christmas. I called before I came in to get a quote. I was quoted $12 per stocking and said they would be completed in about a week, which was too long for me. I asked how much it would be to rush it. They said each stocking would increase to $17 each and they would be ready the next day. They let me choose the font and color by showing you samples in front. I was actually a little unhappy with the final result. One of the names wasn't completely in the middle. I'm not sure if I'm just being nit-picky, and what's the worst thing was that I didn't completely notice until I got home. Long story short, the stockings are hung. However, if there is anything else I need to embroider, I will probably try to go somewhere else. read more

I'm going to shorten the story down for you, but to put a fine point on it: this shop will unethically rob you if given the chance. I was in a pinch to get a graduation sash done very quickly. My girlfriend went by this shop on a Monday morning with a very clear diagram of what we needed done and asked if it could be done by Friday. They told her yes, but that they would email me the quote on the price because they couldn't give it to her then for whatever reason and that there would be a rush charge. Fine. I get the quote Tuesday afternoon, with an inaccurate counter diagram made up and a price quote of $200. I know from my fraternity everyone is paying about $60. I call and get, essentially, "to bad so sad". I work during the week all day, so had to send me buddy to pick this up and take it to another shop in North Glendale where they were happy to do the sash for $75. This shop knew we were low on time. They held my sash at their shop for a full day before giving me their price, burning a day to go somewhere else when we were already rushed. They really did their best to scalp me when I needed a solid shop to get this done. Don't believe the 5 star reviews. With their ethics, I wouldn't be surprised if they were all faked/family writing them up. Go somewhere else, or potentially get screwed royally. read more

I was more than impressed with the beautiful embroidery of our logo. Just perfect. And I can't say enough about the customer service--it makes you wish everyone was this easy to do business with. Going forward, we will be using Pasadena Embroidery to embroider staff scrubs and jackets. Adding personalization to the ubiquitous and utilitarian-inspired attire of medical staff may not seem like a big deal. But we hope that personalizing their scrubs and jackets will allow practitioners and patients to see the person not just as a title (doctor, nurse, MA), rather a person with a name. Humanizing medical staff helps bridges the gap between patients & healthcare workers. Familiarity brings comfort, and comfort helps the best. Maybe a little step toward true patient-centered, like nurses with embroidered names on their scrubs, will make our patients feel just a little less lost in the sea of healthcare. So...Pasadena Screening has been amazing, very reasonable prices, very fast and high quality...if they charged what the scrub companies charge to do the same thing, we couldn't offer this seemingly little perk that is important, especially in our aging population. I bought a hoodie to be customized for my boyfriend's bday present. Initially, I wanted to get it silk screened, but the cost for the plate was too expensive. I was told I could get something similar and would be a cheaper alternative. I wanted to have the city he lives in on the front of the hoodie (similar to Neighborhoodies style hoodie) and inquired on the price of having the words stitched instead. I was impressed it was so inexpensive. For the word inglewood to be stitched onto the front of the hoodie, separated by the zipper, it was less than $40. I bought the hoodie from Target. It took about a week and was ready as promised on the day I requested. It looks great and my honey loves it. Great place to go get a quick project done! They are open on Saturdays as well. I can't say I'm an embroidery and silk-screening connoisseur, but based on my experience with these guys, there wasn't anything I would ding them for.
