Not sure how these people are still in business. disgusting customer service and bullshit scammer…read moreas a manager named Kenny. We had t-mobile and paid $150 which we thought was overpriced. We heard great reviews from people who use Verizon so we wanted to switch to Verizon. We walked in and got greeted and the scammer Kenny broke the details down for us saying it'll be even cheaper than T-Mobile. We told him that we want hot spots for our phones, fastest internet and even asked if they offer any services like T-mobile like free Netflix. He said "yes free Netflix, and free hbo" plus he will waive the activation fee. The bill apparently was $85 for all three lines. Baffled & I asked him "but the middle line is not $85. The cheapest is and we don't want that." He said "as a manager, he can customize a plan" so we were confused but went with it to see what happens. The next day, none of our phones internet worked properly. I noticed my one phone doesn't even hotspot. I called the guy and told him that we wanted hotspots on three phone and also wanted the fastest Internet even if I have to pay a little bit more. I wanted the middle one please just give me the middle plan. He sounded aggravated and said "it's the same thing but ok" either way, he changes the plan and I confirmed with him will it be $115 like discussed before? And he says "yes" side note: before the $85 came into tact he said our highest bill would be $115, until he later lied and said as a manager, he can customize plans and make it cheaper. Couple weeks go by, we got charged $287. I asked this idiot and he told me he won't be in the store due to a basketball game & I walked into the store that day to see him sitting on his chair :) piece of shit and a liar. Next, we asked him and he said he should he refunded. It was NOT refunded. He also lied about giving us the free iPhone 17 phones when it came out. He told us on the day of the pre-sale release text me and I'll send you a link where you just have to put your information and you were all done for the pre-sale no trade-ins required, Just free phones on us because you did not trade in your phone prior to getting this new plan.. that same day at 8 AM I texted him and received a text message back at 10 AM saying oh sorry things changed. We need your phones in order for us to give you a new phone. We were still OK with giving our phones, however how is someone so unaware of a new rule 10 minutes before the pre-sale launch? Either way we called Verizon customer service and obviously there is no kind of promotion like that and also Netflix and HBO Max are not free and then I spoke to a representative named Maria and she was amazing to help us out and give us $140 credit back considering she was even surprised how this idiot is a manager because he charged us double hotspot on each phone. He charged us for Netflix and HBO when we were told it was free and he did not waive any activation fee and charged us $40 for each phone. I then texted him and he acted like he had no idea what was going on. I am attaching all the screenshots and text messages. I have from this scam artist stay away from the store, especially Kenny. Disgusting. I hope karma bites him in the ass. Luckily t-mobile still had their promotion going and we switched back!
