    This is a one month view, constant outages and high latency. Unacceptable!

    It's been nearly a year now of constantly high latency and outages. I call and a technician comes and tells me it's not their problem and the line to the pole is fine. Then, another technician tells me the line is actually problematic but since it went inside of my residence, it's not their problem, and they don't deal with lines that enter the home. So it is all the more infuriating when I read the review below which confirms their technicians do indeed enter crawl spaces within the home to fix issues. Here is a quote from another review: "He replaced the cable line from the pole to house, unfortunately, he needed to go through the crawl space to reach the modem. Leo has a very positive mindset, dressed up crawl space suit, went under and got the job done." And of course, I paid an electrician to replace the coaxial cable line in my home but still, constant outages and high latency. Lastly, let's not even get to the advertised speeds. Barely 5mbps upload vs the 40 advertised, even during off peak use. This kind of upload in 2025 is crippling. Sonic Fiber cannot come fast enough!

They're not responsive yet, and their service sucks right now, they're just not prepared or staffed properly to get it up quickly and reliably at this time. The Eero Pro router is the worst on the market. Only good for penetrating one wall in WiFi mode. It lacks adequate antennas/beam forming. WiFi Service is good for one room. If you want better wifi, use an Asus Router- side-by-side my old 5mhz Asus router ax89x works better and has better QOS for tv. Overall, if you need 7gbps like I do, and you want to do that wired from the eero, you'll be ok. Otherwise you need to buy a better WiFi router to pair with this service unless you live in a 1 room apartment. See Dong Knows Tech for reviews on WiFi7 routers to pair with this service. You'll have to buy it yourself (eero router comes with the service). Frontier is very price competitive with Spectrum.

I am still trying to cancel my Internet and yet when I called today, they told me they couldn't place any orders and that I had to call back tomorrow and when I was adamant about them, leaving a note on my account, the guy that I spoke to even told me there was no point and he wasn't going to do it! Buyers beware canceling is the hardest thing that you can possibly do through frontier don't even get their service to begin with.

I signed in and waited for about 10 minutes for someone to help me. I explained to the young man about my phone issues and he told me that he was going to install a new eSim card. After patiently waiting about 15 minutes he restarted my phone and that took care of my issues. I could ise my iPhone again! After the man fixed my phone he took a look at my internet account and told me I had an old plan and he could save me $25 a month. So, my internet went from $106 a month to $81 a month and I got a faster 1 Gig broadband speed. I also told him that my internet would sometimes go down for a couple of minutes in the mornings and start back up. He said bring in the router and the wifi tower and I could swiped it out with newer models. So today I did just that. Thanks Spectrum. You were extremely helpful.

Customer service over the phone advised me to return the equipment before the next billing cycle which is the 16th of the month. Instead of send them back by UPS, I took them to a Spectrum store and got a receipt. Today the 16th of March, I got another charge on my credit card for $101.25 from Spectrum. Just got off the phone and this so called "supervisor" told me that I had to pay for the month of March in the middle of the month. I was shocked and told him the equipment was returned and customer service had told me I will not be charged again. I also asked him who would charge monthly service in the middle of the month for the service month? It's usually at the beginning or the end of the month and that's not what the customer service told me earlier when I called and returned the equipment. He insisted he is the "supervisor" and couldn't do anything about it. Well guess what..... it's my decision to let everyone know this is how Spectrum put its hands in your pocket. Just like people around me said. They charge more on the loyal customers and bite you when you decided to leave. Take my advice.... STAY AWAY

The network design we inherited was not optimal, so we were looking at improving the topology while adding capacity. I was looking at several vendors to run some fiber from our chemistry room and one existing IDF back to our server room / MDF. I looked at several vendors and wasn't impressed. I had a vendor I'd previously worked with, but they weren't as responsive as I'd liked. This project is moving fairly quickly, and we needed someone to do the work sooner than later. During the process, I found Fusion Networking and Technology. I reached out to them for a quote, and received a call back the same day. I spoke to Gaspar, who was friendly, professional, and pleasant to speak to and work with. He came out to do a job walk the following week (I had some WFH days and various meetings, so the delay was on me, not on them). We discussed ideas, and then he sent us a quote (which was a good price and very fair), and contacted me to schedule the job. We happened to be in the office working on a Sunday, and he wondered if he could come out the same Sunday and start the job, which was a real treat. Gaspar and Junior drove out, showed up on time, and got to work. During this work, they were very careful respectful of our facility and laboratory instruments, and cleaned up after themselves. They completed the job at about the time they were scheduled to finish, and tested everything to make sure the fiber was performing well. The installation was tidy, attractive, professional, well-labeled, and they even left us a few extra fiber jumpers, which we didn't even know we wanted or needed. I tested all the runs myself and everything was connected at 10 Gbps, as expected. Unfortunately, now, we have to tidy up / mine out the old 66 blocks, mushrooms, cross-connect cables that happen to be OUR mess (which we inherited) and look horrible compared to the awesome work they did! But that's on us! If you need some fiber or cabling work, Fusion Networking is the way to go. Timely, professional, friendly, and affordable. I highly recommend them!

As noted in other reviews, the way in which the customer service works is by transferring you to a representative that at best can only ask you to unplug your router and plug it back in again. If you have a more serious problem, then the best they can do is refer you to their mysterious "tier 2" team. They will tell you that your issue has been escalated and to expect a call back the same day or the following day. Currently, I have been waiting back to hear from this team for a month. I have called over and over again and I am unable to reach a single individual who can help me with my problem. This is a nightmare for someone who works at home and requires stable internet to do their job well. Reading other reviews and looking online demonstrates that this is a common enough problem that signing up for this service is a bad idea. If you are searching for an apartment and you find one that offers BAI connect, I encourage you to keep searching and to tell the apartment management that you will not be submitting an application because of the ISP they chose. Trust me, you do not want to be stuck in this hellish scenario of wasting hours of your time weeks on end to get no where. What you are paying for is just not worth it. I have been a customer of ATT and Spectrum, while both have their failings, I can at the very least say that I was able to get a hold of someone who could help me eventually. If your service works as intended, then great, but do not get fooled by reviews written in the best of circumstances. If one thing goes wrong you are going to suffer for it because they are either too lazy, incompetent, or just plain spiteful to help you get your issue resolved. Finally, if this review speaks to your own experience, please leave your own review on yelp and file a complaint with the FTC. They are defrauding their customers on the most basic level by denying them access to adequate customer support. Further, make your voice heard and force apartment buildings to seek better service providers. Avoid BAI connect at all costs.
