I have been asked to say some words regarding the service we have received from HPC Computers. HPC Computers does only one thing for us; this entity fixes our HP Printers when they break down. We are a very busy Law Office in Monrovia and we have 7 HP printers. They are 4 different models. 5 of the printers are under warranty and 2 are not. We used to use another Printer Service entity and had a bit of trouble in the timeliness of getting the printers up and running. Since we started to use HPC Computers the difference has been remarkably noticeable. The best part is that we do not have to go through HP Call Center in India or Philippines to prove that the printer is broken. We don't have to go through a series of questions to diagnose the problem for them and waste time and then have someone get scheduled and then have the service person come and fix the broken printer. It takes lot of down time and we simply can not afford that. One call to HPC Computers is what it takes to get the printer fixed. HPC Computers always can diagnose the problem on the phone and when whichever the Service person comes from their team to fix the printer, he always has the right part with him May be once or twice the service man has to get another part otherwise it is always a one stop job. The Service person is here usually within 1-2 hours (which is unheard of in the industry) and we are up and running. If the printer is out of warranty, the charges are very nominal and acceptable. Brought my HP business laptop in for warranty work. On-board keyboard wasn't working and the battery wouldn't charge to 100%. It took about a week to get my laptop back, which isn't bad considering they had to get parts (keyboard and battery) shipped from HP to their shop. I don't consider that a long wait at all, especially when HP wanted me to ship it to one of their out of state warranty hubs to fix. It probably would have been weeks before I got it back if I went that route. Communication and expertise in their field is very important and I feel HPC Computers was just that. I recommend their services to anyone with an HP laptop and I will definitely utilize their services again, especially now that we have purchased additional HP business desktops and printers. *** Update 5/30/17 *** In response to reviewers that say that their shop has closed; that is correct. HOWEVER...I called them just last week and they are still able to provide the same excellent service. The bottom began to separate from the top of my 4 year old HP Spectre Laptop that cost about $2,000. The Best Buy Geek Squad and Office Depot Computer Repair Dept. said it needed a new battery but they couldn't help me and it wasn't worth fixing. I was told it was cheaper to purchase a new computer. Michael Kahn, proprietor of HPC Computers also told me it needed a new battery. He ordered the battery which arrived in a few days, had me bring the laptop in, and within a few hours the work was completed. The cost was considerably less than $200. My laptop works perfectly and the bottom now aligns with the top, the dis-alignment having been caused by a damaged and bloated battery. Mike called me after a few days to make sure the laptop was functioning properly and he also referred me to a software specialist to assist me with some software issues I was having. HP recommended this Service Center to me when my laptop got infected with viruses and I was out of warranty. They had excellent service and reasonable prices. They removed the viruses the same day and they were able to save my data as well! Thank goodness, because otherwise I would have had to reinstall and back information on the hard drive - who knows how long that would have taken. They demonstrate professionalism and gave me helpful information to protect my computer from future virus attacks. Compared to other computer chains, they charged me reasonable labor costs. Great little Computer Shop! The company I work for uses HPC for our computer and printer maintainance. I thought they only serviced corporate accounts, however when their tech came in the next time I asked about virus removal on a personal laptop and he told me to bring it in. Good rates and timely service. I brought in my laptop for a memory upgrade and virus removal. They gave me KINGSTON memory for cheaper than what Frye's was offering. I have a well used HP M476dw and the scanner suddenly stopped feeding properly. HPC was able to come out the same day, diagnose that the rollers in the ADF needed replacement, along with the paper feeder rollers. The parts came a few days later and installation was swift.
