Spectrum is the absolute worst... constantly outages.. sub par internet. I wish I could give this a lower rating. From front to back it's the absolute worst internet company to deal with. I went in to return my equipment as I had called to cancel my plan 3 weeks prior, and the employee told me it never got cancelled. They told me the customer service agent who "cancelled my plan" didn't actually cancel it but instead signed me up for a new plan and my account would have to be charged through April. I requested they cancel it now, since I have in writing that I would not be billed past 4/1 per that phone call, and he rolled his eyes and told me to call again. This review is specific to the location. I walked into the store with an open mind due to my low opinion of the company as a whole. I understand that the sales people are just trying to make a living. What's not acceptable is directly lying to customers just to make the sale. I went back to the same sales person with the quotes they had written down and the monthly statement I received, they claim that I was confused with what they presented. Went to the store to do a simple SIM swap for my phone line, the store manager absolutely refused to help. From the look of the other employees in the store, the manager has a tight grip on the employees and they are afraid to help for simple issues. "Warning CROOKS they will take your equipment and not give a receipt or e-mail!!" Don't trust these guys they are crooks and made racial comments to me when I demanded a receipt. First they said they don't print receipts, then they said it takes 24 hours for an e-mail receipt. Trust me, go to the ups store to return equipment 1 block east by the Smart and Final store. They will print a receipt and send an e-mail before you leave. read more

The Duarte store was unable to help claiming there was no manager or assistant manager on site. I was told to come back tomorrow at 10.... however no guarantee a manager would be there. I had issues with my phones and activation problems over the phone. So, I had to go into a store. Joshua worked on my phone issues and he was really patient to resolve all issues. It took him a little bit time because issues was very technical. Josh is very experienced in his work and took care of the problems. I really appreciate him. I just found a new con from Spectrum . I just turned in my equipment, and am paid up thru 11/15. I ask to be reimbursed for my overpayment and was told that their accounts are "Pro- rated" and it's their " policy" not to reimburse over paid monies. I explained to them, this is illegal, and they just shrugged, and said oh well... I then called to complain, and got the same story, they are "prorated" and no refund. I ask to speak to a manager, and got some kid, who explained the accounts are NOT "Prorated" and it's their policy of no refunds. So bottom line they feel free to steal from you. as long as you accept it. These people are flat out thieves! I'm sorry I ever did business with them, And hope you are smarter than I I am considering going to small claims court, just to screw with them... Buyer Beware! read more

I just had about the worst experience of my life, calling Spectrum. You can't call the store. Instead, they switch you to a central office. All I wanted to do was leave Spectrum for T-Mobile. I didn't want to keep paying, now that I have a new service with T-Mobile. The lady just argued with me. She would not listen to me. I'm paying about $50 for wifi, instead of $99.98. Then, she offered me a deal. I already had made the switch. I am not obligated to justify to anybody why. I am going into the Spectrum store tomorrow, and I'll be the lady never closed my account. read more

The first time I came in on 6/14 to upgrade my phone that I called customer service about prior. Jair the sales rep refused to help me and said "we don't have any iPhones in stock right now" mind you I called ahead. I then go to the West Covina location and walked out with a new phone so quick. Second time I come in on 07/13/24 I unfortunately get Jair again as my rep again. Before I ask for someone else to help I decide to give it another try. This guy was absolutely useless. I stood there for an hour waiting to talk to him and when I do he does nothing. I then ask for the supervisor Jorge who was nicer but just as useless. I then go to the Hastings Ranch location and was out within 30 minutes with a new phone. STAY AWAY FROM THE DUARTE LOCATION!!! I don't understand why employee a member who could give zero fucks being there. Customer service was absolutely unbelievable.
