Dishonest sales practices. I went in to upgrade/replace my iPhone and I was signed up without my knowledge for several expensive monthly services I never asked for, did not need or want, and was never told about. When my monthly bill came in with all the new expenses, I called Verizon who removed them and fixed the bill, but I won't be using this store (or any in-person Verizon or Verizon-affiliated store) again. read more

This is an Unethical Business would riff off their customers with many " bait and switch." for high profit. Verizon has taken no action to correct the business, it might take both to dance. Whatever prices were quoted, you will get stuck with long term contracts being billed quite a lot more . This business is a thief robbing their own customers, and they are running a fraud business. Quite a lot of one star ratings. Possible ratings mostly are fake by hiring people to do fake ratings. They offered to setup screens protector ( cheap- easy crack - factory warranty with your own mailing cost) on 4 of my phones, but it was ended up charging $70 each while Amazon.com was just long lasting and high quality for $6. read more

I went in to talk with a representative about Verizon internet and was helped by a young lady named Marlene. Marlene was friendly, professional, very knowledgeable. She coached my on how to set up my new modem and gave me her phone number in case I had any trouble setting it up. This is a review of the Pasadena location on Foothill- I worked with Ryan at the Huntington location and he was immensely helpful- A model human. But people need to know about Antwone at the Foothill location. I took my 80 year old mother to this location today to get a long awaited new phone. We were the only ones in the store and had the most horrific and almost dangerous experience. Antwone was the only employee in the story. He couldn't be bothered to look up from his screen, barely looked at us and was immediately rude to my elderly mother. She had to ask him several times to speak up and talk above a whisper. Any time we asked a question he was clearly put out and aggressive. Then, after refusing to help with an issue we were having with a devise- he became so insecure about his lack of experience he yelled at us and kicked us out of the store. Screaming the letters of his name as we left. We were terrified and worried about what he would do next. My 80 year old mother was in tears. I've asked to talk to a manager and have not heard from anyone. Antwone should be be allow to face containers- he's aggressive and wildly short tempered. read more

I placed an order to upgrade my phone and pick up the new device at this store with it 2 hours of my internet transaction. After 2 hours of waiting called the store to see what time I could pick up my phone and I was told by the end of the day. By the end of the day I called and was told usually takes one day or two for express check out ( fedex is faster just for further reference) It's Tuesday, 3 days after my purchase and never heard from the store. We purchased an iPhone 14 max at this store, we got insurance on it and a screen protector. The sales rep assured us that if the screen cracked, we'd get a new protector at no cost. Sure enough the screen cracked and we had to file an insurance claim. We brought the new phone in and they wanted to charge us 40 dollars to do the transfer and also replace the screen protector. When we mentioned what the sales rep told us previously they said that this store is under new management and refused to honor the previous agreement. Beyond the fact that they wanted to charge for a screen protector, they refused to transfer the information to the new phone. Terrible store, avoid. read more

In trying to upgrade my phone, I called Verizon and arranged all of the logistics. Asked to have the phone picked up at the local store. Not realizing the nightmare that was ahead. I have had to cancel and redo my order 4 times. Come to find out, that was because the store would not complete their end of the process. They are supposed to confirm on their end and then complete the order and notify the customer for pickup. They failed to do anything even though the device showed that it was available. In going in the store, I asked if I was to cancel my online order and do the order through them, would I be able to get the same deal and payment and they said yes, with an additional $150 in "fees" on top of the taxes to be paid. There were at least 4 employees lounging around and they really didn't care to even try to help figure anything out. Buyer be aware you will most likely get taken advantage of here.
