If there is a negative star then that's what I will rate this branch. My cousin requested for an upgrade and he was approved for a lease.. they do not have the unit so they ordered it. Lisandra said when we pick up the phone, we do not need to all come since it was already approved. After two wks of waiting, Eli called and asked me to come.. i am a woman and the account holder is Moises (man obviously) if there was a requirement that they needed the account holder again.. then she should have said it. I have everything.. ID copy, pin #, all the information, and even the credit card used for autopay. Really frustrating that she didn't even consider even after a long wait... This is the account of how I got ripped off by the store and it's employee Adonis. I stopped by this store to activate my new IPhone on my existing plan. Adonis was the only associate working. The SIM card from my old iPhone did not work on my new IPhone and I agreed to purchase a new SIM card for $9.99. I also requested a glass cover . Adonis offered me Zombie glass for $24.99. After charging my credit card $38.55 he notified me they did not apply the Zombie glasses (Red flag #1, notifying AFTER the purchase) due to past problems with customer behavior ( Red flag #2 blaming customers). Adonis gave me a Zombie glass which had a very obvious crease on the package. (Red flag #3 selling obviously damaged products). I asked if I could apply it in front of him at the store. When I opened the 1st glass cover package, the glass was cracked as I had suspected. Adonis promptly gave me another one. Once I applied the 2nd cover I noticed it did not lay flush on my screen and gapped from the phone screen at the edges. I brought it to his attention. He stated if crud gets into the gap between the screen and glass I could come back and get another one for $15. (Red flag #4 : the ripoff practice is now in full force) I told him I would certainly not do that and asked for a refund for a defective product. He told me he would have to talk to the manager and send her the product pictures (OMG where am I?!). He took pictures of my phone with the defective cover and left to the back room. After a few minutes he told me he could not refund my purchase per Rosio, her manager and I would have to take it up with the manufacturer. I was dismayed. I told Adonis his store was praying on customers and pushing a defective product. The business should take a loss for the defective product as cost of doing business, and not push their losses on customers. He expressed his disagreement with my statement. Adonis is either clueless, or consciously rips customers off so he can have a job. I am sad for him, his store, and their customers who may not have a voice. read more

Looked up this place on yelp and drove there and 2 males which I forgot their name and remembered the female name, Alex. She was drawing on the wall a new ad for the store .She was really pretty and slim body but really wanted to talk to me. While the guy work on my new phone to get it going,, and they did. So I bought 2 items from them. A car charger and a battery charger. So I got my new Nokia working and bought a couple items from them. Which I needed anyhow. read more

An elderly friend of mine on a fixed income needed a new phone, she has been a customer of Cricket for years and rarely upgrades her phone. Her phone was broken so I went with her to get a new one. I researched online before we went and most of their Android phones are terrible. Online the phone I wanted to buy said it was in stock at this store and when we got there they said they have no stock. Even though my friend has been a customer for years and her phone was old they refused to waive the activation fee - which is garbage for a long time customer. I am so glad I am not a Cricket customer - many people who have written a review here have said that Cricket waived their activation fee. Why am I upset? Because I was paying for the new phone. Go to any other carrier that you can afford. Both the online and in person customer service is unacceptable. read more

My mother needed a new iPhone. We called the store and were told that we can purchase an iPhone at this location. I arrived and was greeted by Josh, he assisted my mother with retrieving her information from her previous iPhone through iCloud. He had a lot of patience and stayed open after the store closed to see that the information was properly uploaded. My mother purchased a case for her phone. The only thing I wish we would've known (I assume Josh did not know) that we could've saved $5 by clicking on their Yelp special. This review is for the customer service we received. Walking into phone stores gives me instant anxiety do to the fact of: 1. I know I will be dropping some change for a phone plan/phone. 2. I hate people who have that "used car salesman" personality and try to push me on stuff that I have no intention on purchasing. When I clearly have my mind set on what I want. Let me tell you, I did not experience that anxiety at this Cricket Location. I had the pleasure of working with a young woman named Maggie. She was already taking care of a couple before me, yet she still managed to help us out both at the same time. That takes some serious patience and multi-tasking! She was so sweet, she offered me a seat as I was holding my sleeping toddler and was broken out in sweat from it. She was so accommodating, and made setting up a new phone plan so easy for me. She explained all of the charges and how I will be billed every month in depth. She answered all of my questions promptly and didn't give me the run around on anything. I work in sales myself, so I know the value of good customer service. This woman's got it! She even took $10.00 off of my activation fee so I can buy something fun with it instead. OBVIOUSLY I took the portable charger, and I feel like I left there with a lot more than what I expected. Let me end this by saying Thank You to Maggie for making my experience with Cricket so amazing! read more

I went into this location two different times and both times the people working there have gone above and beyond for me. The first time I went in there I was really upset because of other phone companies awful customer service and I was iffy to switching to Cricket. I was helped out by Maggie and she fixed all of my issues and sign me up for a plan, her personality even made my day. The second time I went in there I was very frustrated because I had switched to a new phone and it was not working properly, both Maggie and Christian went above and beyond for me, even in the time crunch that I was in they still managed to come up with the solution for me. Both of them were juggling a crowded store and someone mentioned Christian was training and I think they handled everything with such grace and was genuinely making people laugh with their shining personalities. Words can't even express my frustration with this place. I opened my account there, so that's that. I went there to ask for my phone bill for the DMV. The Mexican girl. I don't remember her name, said because is a prepaid company, so they can't offer that. Then a guy next to her told her that she can contact their main office to request one. She told me that she's contacting them, which I don't think she was at all. So I waited for more than an hour. During the process, she was chatting, playing and texting like I'm invisible. I asked her several times, she just said that they haven't reply her. Finally, she literally just send me a fucking low ass quality picture with my name and address. A fucking picture that she took of the screen with a fucking cellphone. The next time I went to pay my bill because the fucking website won't let me enter my postal code. The same girl charged me $55, even though my plan is only $45. She told me that my plan is $50. Then a guy came to say is because that I paid it late. First of all, I only paid late because of your stupid website. The girl didn't even apologize for her mistake, she just like oh I thought it $50, I didn't know. That stupid guy said oh for our apologizes, I'm gonna offer this phone charger to you for half the price. I was just like, are you shitting me? You all already are bad at your fucking jobs, now you are tricking me into buying something I don't fucking need? Obviously, I didn't say this. I just smiled and told him I don't need it. Funny enough, 2 out of 3 times I've been here, the girl always got into an argument with another customer. The first guy customer was a dick. The second lady, however, call them about her phone, they told her that they can't find it. Later, she found out that the girl was holding it beside her computer this whole time. I was so impressed the other day when visiting this location. I just bought a new phone and was having issues setting up my voicemail and multimedia text messages. I'm pretty tech savvy so I thought all was loss. Luckily Joshua was working the day I took my phone in. He was able to resolve my problem in a matter of minutes. He's the man!
