I desperately needed to replace my iPhone 13 Pro battery. After reaching out to multiple shops locally, Gadgetneeds gave me the best quote (especially since I wanted an authentic Apple battery replacement). Most of the other places I reached out to only had third party batteries or were charging more for the authentic Apple one. It was super easy to get a quote through Yelp's Projects and make an appointment, although they take walk-ins as well. Changing the battery took about an hour as the battery arrived 0% charged, but normally should take less than 30 min. Battery is definitely holding a charge well and also includes a 3 month warranty for any issues that may come up. The owner is also very personable and a great person. Another customer came in needing a phone charger, mentioning he lost everything in the Eaton fire. The owner kindly gave him one for free. Overall, great service and I would not hesitate to come back again for any future phone repair needs. read more

I dropped my computer in January of 2026 and completely cracked my screen. I brought it for for a repair, and they were able to fix my screen within 24 hours for $350. I was very happy with the service until my screen cracked from a very light touch in May of 2026. I was puzzled that a simple touch to the screen would crack it so easily. After the initial repair, I have always been very mindful of how I interact with my computer, as I work from home and need my computer on a day to day basis. I brought it back to Gadgetneeds to explore solutions. While I was telling the reps what happened one of them asked me "do I believe I the words I say? You must have done other damage to it." I told them that it is really bad business to insist that a customer is lying, and that I refused to pay $350 again to only be faced with the same issue in 4 months. I recommend avoiding this business. It is unfortunate that Gadgetneeds is not only able to stand by their work, but also questioned my integrity while trying to make this repair happen. Paulo is lifesaver! Very nice human being. He was efficient and very knowledgeable. While I was waiting, I bought us a Starbucks; and before I finished my coffee, he was already done! He even recommended the brand of protection glass I should get and offered to put it on as a courtesy, once delivered. Just FYI. ALL places charge $300+ to replace the S23 Ultra screen so please protect your phones...lol. So, it was refreshing for the quality of service to match the price I paid. Warranty is only 90 days so hopefully all goes well, moving forward. Samsung & Verizon suck for saying my phone had to be replaced instead of just fixing screen; saying it had to do with it being a 5G phone...$@&#€% damn near ALL phones have 5G capability now, wtf?!?! Albeit, Paulo hooked me up and I'm back in business. I'll be going back if I ever need assistance with my phone or laptop in the future, for sure, especially if Paulo is working there! *P.S. He had me come in today 12/16 and after examining the work done, he said the internal screen was broken/shattered for some unknown reason; even though I just had it replaced 2 days ago with no incident. Maybe the internal screen wasn't replaced??? Not sure, but Harry reordered a screen set for me with a turnaround pick-up about 4 hours, and everything seems to be working properly once again. I pray everything was done correctly and precisely with no more mistakes. Still a 5 star rating but now I only have 90% confidence no more issues will arise. We shall see! read more

My ipad air 4's screen stopped responding to touch. I took it to the apple store and they told me it would be over $300 to fix, or I could just recycle it with them for free. Harry initially quoted me $190 to replace the digitizer which I agreed to. Upon opening up the device, he noticed that the device's components did not need replacing and that there were just some loose connections causing the issue. Harry called me and told me that the cost would be a fraction of the quote since no hardware or parts were being replaced. Worst computer repair experience that I have ever had. 4 weeks ago I left my computer with a guy(Tao) on Green Street in Pasadena. 2 weeks ago I get a call from a gentlemen on Washing Blvd at this establishment. I left after splitting the bill(paid1/2 out of kindness), shouldn't not have paid a dime. I left with my Laptop in a box in pieces and not all of the pieces. I never received a call from them, I called each time to get a status update. Hands down worse service ever, horrible communication, poor customer service and did not fix the issue nor did they communicate and that would be alright had they communicated. It just needed to be communicated and I needed to de told that was the result. Stay away from these guys for your computer repair needs especially if you have a Microsoft Surface product.
