This place is, hands down, the best laptop/phone repair location I have ever been to. I dropped my laptop in a puddle, and it was completely fried. My experiences with Gadgetneeds were beyond amazing. It all started a few months ago with changing an iPhone BADLY cracked screen (wasn't that bad when it first cracked but totally unusable as time went by with patches of black), then two more battery changes for 2 separate older iPhones . Hary has so much heart, prices are reasonable and competitive. I was beyond satisfied... You can see from his interactions with customers to suppliers he treats neighbors as himself and Gadgetneeds is a heart based business. Having only been to Apple store or Apple authorized repair stores for repairs or part replacements, I am v happy that I can pay only a fraction of the price while I get my older phones back to their best states. I used to think (with prejudice, as I had no knowledge ) going to these tiny stores, screens or battery may last a short time... or maybe they might change my parts... but after my experiences here, I realized that good independent stores with integrous analytical technicians, they could be better than Apple store knowing how to fix the issues more because of the extensive experiences without the luxury to just switch out with a refurbished phone! the touch screen i got works exactly like original and he threw in glass protection for free and it feels better than before! The new battery lives are great but only time can tell, so I may post follow up review in months or years. I am not sure if every independent store is this good. But I know Harry really knows the in and outs of the phones, has original, OEM or after market parts to meet customers pricing needs and always give the best possible to anyone going in the store. Because I saw that in person waiting in store a few different days within 3 weeks. You can tell he is authentic genuine HONEST, walk his talk devout Christian . I have seen him fix different sorts of issues for customers he probably didn't have to that takes time he may not ask for payment or just for minimal fee... But at the same time the one negative review is semi true. He does not have a sales personality and gives customers the big smile warmest and welcome me the moment i go in. he is usually so busy that if he closes at 6 but still working 6:30 or later and haven't had time for lunch because he put taking care of all his customers first. Customers walk in, says hi and just wait till their turn. So if u want the great customer service and willing to pay the price, go to Apple store . He is not the type that fake out a smile when busy...more like great guy with a straight face that rather do little extra for free, giving the best to others , than squeeze in some extra fees for himself.. It is clear as day to loyal repeated patrons, but confusing to the new walk-ins , or the ones expecting respect, who believe their life experiences are results of others , with an externalized self -esteem. For face masks, i don't know the exact situation at this store, but if u truly believe it would make life and death difference , without doing extensive research on efficacy of face masks in infection prevention, versus research on adverse effects with face masks use, oxygen deprivation etc , realizing some people get sick from it , it might be better off u go to another store. Go to an Apple store or Best Buy geek squad for repairs then u can get everything by the books! If there were only one phone store that can remain in Los Angeles county, I would choose his without a doubt.. and all my future repairs out of warranty would only be repaired there. First time coming here and 10/10 would return for any future device repair. I recently dropped my iPhone 11 Pro and accidentally smashed the main camera lens. I called to get a quote ($40) last week and stopped by later that day. When I went in, the gentleman at the store (I didn't catch his name) already had the replacement lens ready and he fixed my broken lens in 10 minutes. Great work, quick, knowledgeable, honest, and very nice! He also taught me about how my camera works - he explained that there was a very VERY slight shadow in the pictures (I didn't notice until he pointed it out) which could have been from damage to the camera when I dropped my phone. I checked pictures that I took after dropping the phone but before he replaced the lens and he was right the shadow was there before the lens replacement. Altogether a great experience. read more

I rarely ever take the time to review places but my girlfriend's iPhone 10 randomly stopped working this morning. Brought it in. They fixed it pretty quickly. The guy was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I work in tech and used to jailbreak my friends' iPhones years ago so I have a *little* bit of knowledge on the subject matter, and this guy was very straightforward and honest. Attempted to go to West Coast Wireless at 4pm and they were closed, advertised open until 6pm. Noticed this shop next to the donut store. Seems to have been there for a while and gave it a try. My speaker was very week when holding the phone to my ear. Handed it to Alex and in 5 minutes it sounded like new. I got two quote and was originally going with the other place since that was the first quote I received, but they were not open as stated on their site, which brings me to Gadgetneeds. My iPhone X lately wasn't responding to my touch as much for the last few weeks. Some times it does, other times it won't, and it'd be like that for a few seconds to minutes. I've tried resetting the phone, that didn't last long. I also noticed that the upper right corner of the screen felt it was lifting up a bit. So I was searching around for places and found this place! The man there was nice and informative about what was wrong with my phone. The shop is small, no ventilation and the guy helping people (maybe the owner) was not wearing a mask, even though there where two other people in the store, all wearing masks'- including myself. Here's the setting. My phone got wet, really really wet. It stops working in parts of the screen. I'm trying to get my real ID application done on my phone and it's just not working. I can't print anything, anytime I need to open another app I can only do so with voice command. I'm pissed. Tension headache is setting in. I only have so much time until my kids are going to need to be picked up and my house is a mess. I'm stressing out! My husband had our screens repaired at Gadgetneeds before and so I call them to see if they're able to help me. Harry picks up and tells me to come in. I'm so irritated, it's hot, getting my phone messed with is the last thing I want. There's lots of street parking around the shop, that was a relief. I walk into the store and it's nice and quiet.
