I was seen very quickly, had diagnostics done within 5 minutes, and he suggested alternative solutions while discouraging me from doing unnecessary repairs on my phone as it was in good health, despite that costing him business and income. Can't help but appreciate his honestly since a lot of shops in this same business don't have that quality. Called and expressed concerns for slow battery charging. I inquired about time for diagnostics and the guy on the phone quoted 15-20 minutes. Soon after I came to the shop and the guy saw me within a minute of stepping into the shop and did his diagnostic testing within 5 minutes. He told me that my phone charged well on his chargers and suggested that it might be due to my charging cable. He recommended I order a new one and also offered some in store but wasn't pushy about his stock in particular. I also asked about my battery health of 86% and he said it's in good health and I should hold onto it for a little longer before considering a battery replacement. My son lost his SIM card for his phone and I was calling around to see if I can get one without paying $40. I called Go Gadget Repairs, but they were not available. They called me back 5 minutes later stating that they received a missed call from my number. I was actually on my way to another phone store and was glad that I picked up the return call from Go Gadget. The representative on the phone said that not any SIM card will work. Her store only sells AT&T prepaid SIM cards, but that will not work with my phone. I have to go to a Verizon Store or an authorized Verizon retailer to get my SIM card. I thanked her for her knowledge and honesty. The other phone store that I was driving to said that they have prepaid SIM cards and that was it. I told him that I already have a phone line, and just need a new SIM card to activate the phone. He said, "Yes, I have it." I asked him how much was it and he said that it was $5. I thought that it was really sketchy, but was on my way anyways. I was so glad that Go Gadget called me and educated me. This call saved me a trip to the wrong place. The problem I had with my phone wasnt a big issue at all- just the display - a single part and needed to be swapped out. The tech guy says he can recover the lost data and said we don't want to do it for you with a straight attitude. The lady working at the front was very nice and kind with her entire interaction. I came in to get my battery replaced for my iPhone, and it was replaced within 30-40 minutes. However this store charges pretty steep prices, especislly considering the battery I received was an aftermarket battery. The lady initially quoted me $150 for a battery replacement, but eventually lowered it to $95. This is more expensive than it would have been getting it replaced from Apple or an authorized repair shop, which is quoted for $89 for my model, and it would be an Apple official battery. I was already in the store at the moment so I just decided to get it done with. Overall, the service was nice, but I cannot give more than a 2 star because the pricing for the repair/replacement is way too expensive, making official repairs from Apple look like bargains in comparison. read more

I brought in my iPad Air as the charging port was jammed in and I couldn't charge it any longer. I was also concerned my battery needed to be replaced. They quoted me $200 for a battery and securing the charging port. It seemed kind of expensive but it was either getting it repaired or buying a new iPad Air for $650. Idk how long the replaced battery would last or if the port was secured enough. No repair shop would quote without opening it up so I had to bite the bullet. I had my phone port cleaned and it cost 45 dollars for "labor". The labor took five minutes. The only reason I had this place clean my phone was because my phone was nearly dead and I was driving bye. I guess it's my fault for not asking first what the cost was. Typically places will do it for free or charge a small fee of ten dollar's , but 45 dollars! That's outrageous. Request to observe the repair!!! They will steal parts and replace them with cheap parts. I went there to fix a cracked screen, and after a few days, I found out that my phone gets super laggy. I took my iPhone to another shop, and they told me that some of the parts had been taken away, causing the phone to malfunction. What great customer service and repair that I got. I went in and was told that it would take about 90 minutes. Since I had a lot of paperwork to do, they allowed me to use their wifi and do my paperwork in their store, and it maybe took an hour, tops. He even came out to show me that I had some water damage. He was very forthright in his analysis of my phone and was very honest. He didn't try to upsell me and gave a factual, honest opinion. I was having trouble with my charging port, and I spent probably half a year dealing with this stupid charging port, which day by day was harder and harder to deal with since the port was so stretched. He also said that I could get a new battery, but it wasn't too necessary, but I opted to get my charging port AND battery changed and it ended up being around $80, which is amazing. As I was working there, several customers came and the interactions with them were very professional, succinct and honest. If I ever have a problem with my phone again, I'll definitely come here! tip: parking is in the back, go slow when you drive past the store because the entrance to the parking is a small alleyway and it is hard to catch. Came for the high rating immediately regretted it. Jut seemed unprofessional right off the bat. Said to come in an hour and a half he had to get parts. Then was late to that estimated time. When I handed over my phone he gave us an hour and a half estimate for completion. When we came back he added another two hours to completion of job and asked us to come back. Blamed it on "customers kept coming into the store." If yo can't complete a job in estimated time due to other costumers then maybe you shouldn't be the only employee. After getting my phone back glue all over phone and now my flashlight doesn't work. Thank goodness I'm trading this phone in or else I'd go back and ask for a full refund.
