I already had past issues with the shop when I went in February to get a laptop screen replaced because they damaged my laptop cover with the screwdriver which left a permeant carving. I tried disputing it with my credit card but the merchant lied saying I never contacted them back about the issue. Even though I emailed 2 separate times, called like 4 which one of the calls lasted 10 minutes of me trying to get a refund, and went to the shop 2 separate occasions. I did not immediately approach them right away, I had class after the pick up because I am a college student. I also didn't re-contact my bank back because it is too much effect, I had midterms during then, and if they need the money so badly they can keep it. Now it is July 18 and the cheap replacement they gave me has a fat yellow tint looking like a long vertical line on the left side of my screen. This 100% due to a hardward issue, and now I cannot reach out about the issue because the shop is dishonest, and disingenuous. If you want your laptop worse off come here, if not take the extra money to a different shop with actual integrity. read more

I got a quote to fix my speaker on my phone for $55 and when it was done, they said it was $55 and that it was confirmed for $55. After walking in to pick up it up, they said it's $85 and the guy said well I'll give it to you for $65. Smh. read more

I have been traveling quite a bit over the years and IFIXFORU has always been able to save my Samsung Galaxy Note 20. Several years ago I left my phone on the bumper of my rental car in Alaska. A friend drove off and my phone was was lost somewhere on a road. By some miracle my phone was found and given back to me. It had been run over over by a truck but IFIXFORU was able to replace the screen and made it work again. Last month, I got my cell phone wet with seawater while fishing at Christmas Island. IFIXFORU saved my phone again. Another screen and new battery were installed. A week later after fishing in Alaska, my phone went totally dead. Because it was still under their 60 day warranty, Harry replaced the motherboard at NO extra charge, and my phone is working great again. I highly recommend this business. read more

Unfortunately I don't have a good comment about this business I took my iPhone to replace the screen and the young man who damaged it other parts when opening it with a blade left the side button to it unusable he knows that he damaged it and he didn't tell me anything I will never go back to that place and much less recommend it by! read more

Back in late April, when I was about to go to bed, a sudden shutdown happened in front of me. The next day, it turned out that my battery life went out of control last night. Indeed, I tried to make the blinking stop by unplugging the charger and then plugging it back in. After that, it was still blinking and never stopped. I asked my uncle to help me fix the problem by unscrewing the bottom layer of the laptop and see if the battery was OK or not. Enough with my experiences at home. As requested, my uncle decided to hire my stepmother to help me fix my MacBook before it's too late. At the beginning of May, the day had come to send my device to the iFixForU shop where only 2 boys were working. My stepmother asked one of the workers to see if they wouldn't mind fixing my device. But instead, they accused me of ruining my device by adding one last sentence "nobody's gonna help you", which sounded like my life is already over. I'm sorry, but that treatment they gave me was unfair and unacceptable, and I have never trusted that smile the worker had; it's humiliating. Having had enough, I can tell that their service didn't do me a favor, so I had no choice but to send my MacBook to Di-No Computers in the following month. Since I vowed never to visit that shop again, the technicians working for iFixForU get 2 choices: Improve their treatment or get fired. This has been my experience with iFixForU, and this is Christine Lim signing off. read more

I dropped off my laptop for a diagnostic for a power issue. I don't think they did anything. I brought it home, unplugged the fan and another power source outlet and boom it turned on. I guess that's why they didn't charge my wife when she picked it up. They said it can't be fixed. read more

IFIXFORU - San Gabriel - Getting my daughters iPhone fixed. Much cheaper than buying another phone. Thank you guys for giving our daughters phone a other life. - Electronics Repair Near Me - San Gabriel, California

Came here from Tmobile because they said a prepaid plan would be cheaper with Ultra. We bought the unlimited data plan for 3 months and they recommended paying cash to avoid fees. We did so, and asked for a receipt but he stating he didn't need to provide one and to return for any issues. When we left we realized that the data doesn't work at all. We returned to the shop, wanting a refund but the worker refused stating that it is impossible. He then proceeded to attempt to connect the SIM card on different phones for the next hour. He had to call the help line multiple times. He used our phone to link the account with his email and wifi without asking us. We gave him one hour to figure it out and when he couldn't we again asked for a refund. He kept saying that a refund is impossible and proceeded to raise his voice at us. He finally got a esim card instead but we did not want to use it. He continued to argue with us until we couldn't do anything but follow him. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Poor customer service and unprofessional behavior. read more

I don't know how I broke the LCD screen on my Lenovo laptop, but I was browsing laptop repair places on yelp and found Ifixforu. I came in to get my iPhone XS fix because it keeps turning on and off by itself. The apple logo keeps looping. I was able to turn off my phone by hard resetting it, but the phone won't turn on. I took it in, they told me it will take 1 hour to diagnose the problem and it's for free to do this. So, exactly 1 hour... I was notified and they told me what the problem was and how it can be fix. I agreed for them to fix it and now I can turn on my phone again. It's working great and I can retrieve all my data and port it over to my new iPhone. This place saved my life and headache from fearing that I'll lose everything if my phone won't turn back on. Would definitely recommend this place if you have iPhone problems. So I went to this location to get my screens fixed on 4/8 for my s8+. Back and front screens needed to be replaced. When I arrived, they gave me a different price, but later they realized the quote was a mistake but willing to honor the price. Which I appreciate. Now a week later, I had to go back because the glue on the back screen was not adhering to the unit and affecting performance of the phone. They offer 2 months repair, except for screen damage. I'm hoping there will be no issues beyond the 2 months. read more

So when I walked in the store for my water damaged iPad, I was immediately greet by Doug. He was very honest (well at that time) on the time it needed to get it up and gave me an ETA. I made me feel good not because I could replace the iPad but I have a lot of data and customization in the iPad that is very time consuming if I have to do everything over again... He promised that he would let me know either yes or no to pick my iPad the next day. The next day went by, no call. So I thought to myself, maybe the damages was huge and he needed more time to fix it. I called the 3rd afternoon, he picked up right away and told me that he required another day. He said I should be able to pickup my iPad by the end of the day. He would call me when he was done. Fine! I told myself. I told him that I had a state exam the next week and I needed to prepare it. Nothing. No call! I called around noon on the 4th day and he finally told me to go into his store to paid and pickup my iPad. What I don't appreciate is when one setup an expectation, please follow through. I guess he doesn't desire me to be his loyal customer. Anyway, if this store promises something to you, make sure they follow through on the expectation. I was told that I was too mellow but remember, business is business. PPPEACCEEE!! read more

Go to this store if you want your original phone parts get stolen! I visited this store for my IPhone X battery replacement. They not only sell you used battery which can't be detected by your iPhone diagnosis system but I also found they stolen my original iPhone screen and swapped it with a OEM one from China. I found out as I sent my iPhone to the Apple Store a week later and the technician there told me any original screen has Apple bar code and mine is obviously gone after the battery replacement. No wonder I feel my screen is acting too sensitive and weird after the service. What a thief store! stay away! read more

I just replaced my iPhone 6 battery for $54.75, price included sales tax. I walked in the store and the replacement was done in less than 15 minutes. I would say my experience here was good, fast, reasonable, and efficient. The only downside is the level of friendliness, the front person really did not communicate. I had to ask him if the battery was genuine Apple, how long it would take, and if they accepted Visa. It appears that there is only 1 person at this shop, try to get here when it is not busy. I arrived at 1:20pm, no was before me but shortly after, a group of guys came in and they had to wait until my service was completed. Went in to get help with my phone not being able to charge, ended up leaving with no help given and just overall a waste of time. They talked to me as if I had zero knowledge of how my phone worked even though I suggested that it may be a battery issue. The guys in there were okay but the lady (not sure if she's the new person in charge) insisted that it was MY issue with the ports I had around my house. 4 days later, I'm stuck with a phone that won't turn on at all regardless of which "charger" I use. I've also ran all around my house trying different outlets per her suggestion. She also tried to joke with me saying she'll charge for her knowledge and that it's priceless. PLEASE tell me what I got from them other than wasted time and energy. -10/10 would not recommend these people who will brush you off. read more
