Even though they were not able to help me resolve my issue. They thoroughly explained the problem and we about to provide an estimated cost to fix in the going market price. The staff was nice and honest! Thank you for helping me. read more

My mom's old iPhone 8 Plus was on its last legs -- the touchscreen would often stop responding, and she had to restart the phone using the volume button just to get the screen working again. Suddenly, the volume button also stopped working, which meant she couldn't restart the phone at all when the screen froze. We were looking for a bare minimum solution, to have the old phone be functional long enough to transfer her data to a new phone. I called a few places looking for a simple, temporary fix, and luckily found this store. When I explained the situation, they offered to help with the data transfer instead of repairing the older phone. They temporarily installed a working screen on the old phone, let us complete the transfer, and then even swapped the cracked screen back afterward. They went above and beyond, no other store offered a similar solution besides repairing the old phone completely. I would absolutely recommend this place! read more

We have used this repair shop for several phone issues from cracked/broken screens to screen protectors and most recently setting up email, changing the email from one phone to another. I highly recommend this store to everyone who is looking for a trusted, reliable smartphone repair store. About a month ago, when I stopped by, they immediately fixed the problem (replacing a new power button) I had with my old iPhone 4S on the spot. Excellent service! I've been here before to repair a broken screen and it was done well and promptly. This time I needed work done on an old iPhone 11 I needed to fix for my cousin to use. Service was beyond excellent. The techs were very kind and helpful. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you need repairs to your phone look no further. 168 Fix It will do their best to fix it. read more

This place is very honest and helpful. I thought my tablet needed a new charging port due to someone else's advise. The issue was simply just a bad charging cord. They did a test and advised me I only needed to get a new charging cable. Not being very IT knowledgeable they could of told me otherwise but gave me an honest answer and didn't even charge to look at it. Great place great staff. Pat read more

Unprofessional, dishonest, first no stat review for me! Told them that my iPad power button was stuck, and they said will be open up the screen so it will be hard too fix which the price has to be $150, i know it is expensive for just fix the the power button stuck but I thought they are business providing a professional service, so just let them fix by the time. The next day when I picked up my iPad, the power button working but looks like they never open up my screen to fix cause there were some damaged can saw on the panel, where they must using some kind of material like screwdriver to try to open directly. unprofessional, dishonest, no no place. read more

Amazing place to go to fix your crack phone screen, broken phone anything that relates to technology. I have been here since it was opened because my parents knew the owner and we were really close to them. The owner and employees are really nice, and they tend to joke around but in a good way, which is really funny. I like how they try to fix your phone as soon as possible, and if they can't do, they will recommend you to go to the official shop, which is Apple, Samsung, etc. They are really good to the customer; they will try to like to help them with whatever they want. One last thing If you ever need any phone cases, they have various cases for your phone too. Overall this place is perfect for getting your phone fixed or anything, and it's cheap, and they have a warranty here too. read more

Great service and very fair pricing. I had a problem with my charging port on my Note 10+ phone. I called a few places and this place was the cheapest I found. I called one place on Garvey and they wanted to charge me $130 to replace the charging port but this place only charged me $70. I got here 5pm on a Friday and they said they could fix it in 2 hours before they closed. I came back and y phone was fixed and working like new. I was able to use a fast charger again and my phone charges up fully in an hour like when I first bought it. The people here are also pretty friendly. I'd recommend this shop 100%. read more

Love their service and so happy they were able to recover my water damaged phone. I am so happy I found this place and that they were able to recover my iPhone XS Max that went swimming in the ocean in Hawaii. I was hopeless because I went to someone else before finding 168 Fix It and they said it wasn't recoverable. But it took them 2-3 days to get everything recovered and back onto a new iPhone and it wasn't crazy expensive. Very reasonable and I recovered all my pics. That was the most important. From now on lesson learned back up to the cloud! Thank you to all the workers there. read more

Friendly company and staff that seemed willing to accommodate my needs. One of my jobs consists of getting people connected to a company intranet and signed into company specific apps and programs. When the time comes to get a new phone or fix a phone fast I count on someone that can give me a fair price and a good service. "168 fix it" were almost double priced compared to their competitors. However, they would have tried their best I'm sure, but because of the cost I did not move forward. If they were more reasonable in the future I may change my mind. Other than that I would say to give them a shot for your business. They seem to be a trustworthy company. read more

This place is solid if you have a phone issue and need it fixed cause you didn't get the insurance. I've been here several times to help my family fix their iphones, when they've had issues. I've never brought an android phone here to get it fixed, but i'm sure they know their shit and can do a bang up job. Super cool group of guys that even helped me fix some technical issues for free, they coudl've charged me but they just did it for free. If i have any phone issues im bringing it to these guys. They also speak a couple of languages at this store, for sure mandarin and cantonese, maybe even vietnamese. read more

Nothing could improve. They are treating and giving us hard time. I lost my time and I lost my money and I lost my phone.

I came here for a screen protector in which Jason assisted me. He told me everything I needed to know about the different types of protectors and suggested which one best suits my needs and proceeded to install it for me within minutes! A couple days after my initial purchase of a screen protector, I accidentally cracked/chipped it. I called the store and Jason picked up, I explained my situation and he told me that there is a one month warranty for the protector and he would replace it for me free of charge! I came back in and within minutes my phone had a new screen protector on. Jason told to be cautious and take good care of my phone because replacing the new screens of the iPhone 11 and 12 are really expensive. Jason truly cares about his customers and wants them to be satisfied with their purchases. Thank you to Jason and the team, wonderful people! I will be recommending my friends and family to this place due to their excellent customer service and quality of work. read more

The screen wasn't as sharp as the original screen but it didn't make too big of a difference. The bad part is, a month after the screen replacement, my iPad screen cracked again. I didn't drop it or hit anything against it. This usually means improper installation or a cheap screen was used. My guess is they used one of those cheap $15 screens and charged me $90 for the replacement. I'm not going to pay this place again to do this! read more

I forgot to take a picture of my son's cracked 7th gen iPad but my kid was devastated when his ipad hit the concrete pavement. We had a case with keyboard attached but it was not the best for outdoors. Anyways, called up 168 Fix It and spoke with Wilson. Paid exact price quoted over the phone and got a brand new iPad screen put on New Year's Eve before 24 hours of dropping the broken iPad off. If I ever have to fix anything iPad related, I will most definitely come here again. Thx 168 Fix It for fixing my kid's iPad so quick and it works great! read more

This was the best find ever!!! If anything happens to your cell phone...I mean ANYTHING. Damage to your screen, water damage, black screen, trouble charging etc. If you're me, all of the above. I accidentally dropped my phone outside...just before the big rainstorm. I thought it was in the car so I didn't worry about it. In the morning my son found it on the sidewalk. It was cracked and drenched in watter. Immediately, I put it in a bag of rice. Then I took it to my friends at "168 FIX IT". As always, they worked their magic. There is a very kind man that can fix anything. Ask for Jason or Lee. They're fantastic!!! Don't waste your time or your money...or your patience with your phone provider. I have had it with mine. They've worked on my phone 3 times. They've never let me down. Believe me, you will thank me! read more

Today my phone dropped, the screen left uncracked but the LCD didn't light up as usual. There was an issue that I couldn't fix on my own. I decided to Yelp the best spot and I came upon 168 Fix It, which I had actually been to a few years ago and decided to go. When I go there, Jason took a quick look and said it could be fixed. Within 45min, the deed was done and my phone looked brand new and was back in use. I recommend 168 Fix It if you have any issues with your devices and are looking for a reliable place to resolve your issues. read more

Affordable and great service. Our sons iPad would not charge and they were near closing time. I took my daughters phone in to get her camera fixed. When I came back to pick it up I noticed the screen was cracked near the home button. I immediately notified the guy and showed him the work order which showed the phone was handed with over with NO DAMAGE. So the guy asked the technician if knew anything about it and he STRAIGHT UP LIED "saying he didn't notice anything". They ended up replacing the screen, but it's a cheapie brand that broke two days later. Of course I can't go back to get it replaced because they intentionally scratched out the note about breaking the glass on the work order. SHADY SHADY SHADY!! read more

168 Fix It - Cracked screen after they replaced the ORIGINAL one that the broke!!! - Electronics Repair Near Me - Alhambra, California

Good customer service. I took my iPhone 7 Plus in for what I thought was a simple fix to lightening cable port- it was loose making it difficult to charge. That was the only issue I had, otherwise worked like a champ. An hour later the phone has a new port and it doesn't charge. I was told it had "multiple issues". I didn't have other issues waking in the shop. I ask they just return it back to it's original port and I'll take it elsewhere. Next day when I made a phone call the microphone didn't work. Ultimately, I had to get a new phone when all I wanted was a new port that could charge. Hopefully better luck for others. read more

My ear speaker and loud speaker not loud enough. Best Buy said it need to replace everything. It cost about 360$. 168 fix said just need cleaning that's it. Just charged only 50$. The only thing I don't really like is the customer service talked too loud and too much with the technician. read more

There was nothing wrong with the customer service that I received at 168 Fix It, but once I got my phone back after a screen replacement (cracked screen), I realized that I would rather have paid for a fix under my insurance or gotten a new phone with the original screen than get a screen replacement at 168. My complaints were the following: 1. Blue color to white background - the color that was being projected through the new glass was not the same. Instead of white, I got a tint of blue. 2. Constant screen freezing 3. Digitization not working well 4. When I would receive phone calls, the sound was very low. I looked these issues up and read that they are common because shops use screens that are lower quality than the original. read more

Okay so I came here today after reading reviews and getting super super super frustrated with my Samsung S3. For a millisecond, I even considered throwing my Samsung away and moving to the "dark side" aka Apple iphone. But, I refuse! I've been sticking through with Samsung for so many years, we are practically BROS. Anyways enough of that rant. I came here to fix my Samsung s3 power button. I've been so pissed off that my phone keeps automatically turning off and then when I take the battery out and put it back in, it auto reboots. I was losing my mind! So I came by and got a quote to see how much it would take to replace the power button. It was 35 bucks, but with a student discount I got it for 10% off. YAY! So my total was 31.50. I had a 50% initial deposit before I left. My ETA for my phone getting fixed was an hour. I left them my gf's phone number since they're fixing my phone and they can't really call me. So about 45 minutes after hanging out next door at Ladybug tea, her phone rang and my phone was ready to be picked up. So I come in, pay the rest of the bill and checked my phone, everything works fine so far. I was happy and I'm glad to keep my samsung s3 working well =) read more
