RUN RUN RUN! HELD PHONE HOSTAGE BECAUSE OF YELP REVIEW, COPS NEVER SHOWED UP!! Just get a new phone, save time,money and energy. I broke my phone screen back in October of 2024. I called the business to confirm they could do the repair. When I called no one answered but I got a call back told the man on the phone what I needed. He said they could do it, I agreed to stop by after work since this business is down the street. I stopped in Oct 25, the guy looked at my phone PIXEL 7 Pro, said they could do it again and let me know the price $165. I agreed, he asked for a $60 Zelle deposit, ordered the part and told me it would arrive in a few days. I go back the 28th to drop off the phone after work, get a text the 28th that the phone is ready. At pickup the employee is having issues with the screen not responding, side buttons not working. Tells me part is defective and they will need to replace it AGAIN. The new screen was replaced AGAIN and I was on my way. A few days later I AGAIN started to have issues with the screen/phone not responding, it would just freeze. So I brought the phone back. The screen was replaced a 3rd time now. It just didn't work the same after, when viewing PDF or anything online my screen looked like the info was redacted. This was annoying but I could get by if I zoomed out. So I was like I'll make my way back but with holidays and life never got around to it. After the new year I started to notice a black spot forming around the front facing camera, this was concerning because it would be a matter of time till it became an issue. I went back to the phone place January 3rd, the employee SAM said it was my fault and I was out of warranty. I was frustrated at this point because I'd had come back a few times already and he was saying it was my fault. I asked to speak to someone else, explained the situation and he agreed to replace the screen under the warranty I was originally given. The business is going off the date I paid for the deposit not the day the work was actually done. The manager Kevin also mentioned warranty would continue after the replacement. I went back 1/11 after 2pm, I had let the employee know I would be there after 2. I show up at 2:06 and he's out to lunch. I texted the number because I'm frustrated with this guy. He implies it's my fault, maybe it's the language barrier but we agreed over text. This is the kind of customer service you find in Mississippi LOL On 1/24 my phone screen stopped responding went BLACK. Not even the side buttons would respond. The phone just froze and started dialing 911 so I had to LEAVE work to go drop it off. When I get there the business is CLOSED, thankfully there was another guy waiting and he got the employee to come out to hand him a speaker. I explained to him what the issue was and he was like sit down I need to look at it, I waited about 10 minutes before I called to get his attention, I had to yell out twice before the employee came out. I asked for a receipt because I was dropping the phone off since I needed to get back to work. Got back to work around 2:25 pm, after work I asked my partner to go check in with the phone guy to see if he'd looked at my phone since he told me it wouldn't be ready till Monday. I also posted the YELP review that I was holding off on. When we got to the business the employee SAM was smoking a cigarette outside. My partner asked about my phone and at this point the employee told him it was my fault for sitting on it and he would not give my phone back until I took it down. We called Monterey Park PD but they never showed up, we waited for over and hour. The business closes at 7 pm. At this point I was want the phone back and this to be over, so I ask the employee for my phone he says he will give it back ONLY if he reversed whatever work he did. The receipt that was provided to me did not have an estimate NOR did the employee contact us to let us know what the issue was. He claims the screen soldering came off because I sat on the phone. I'm not sure how this happens especially after the screen was just replaced. I agreed to have him just give me the phone back. He gave me that phone in a worse condition that I gave it to him he didn't even bother to attach the screen properly. This business uses different names, asapfixinc@gmail.com, T-One Tech, Green Zone Tech. They also had a location in Arcadia that CLOSED. Do your research, the prices might be good but it will cost you so much more and you still will need a new phone. Funny thing is the weekend after the 24th, the business closed for the weekend.

Overall, I would not recommend anyone to come in to fix their phones no matter how inexpensive and "decently" priced the repair costs. I essentially lost out on $120 because the repair broke, so my iPhone 11 Pro Max is back to how it was originally before the owner attempted to fix it. And the 60 day warranty they guarantee you is not guaranteed at all. This will be a lengthy review because I want everyone to be aware of what exactly they will get into when they come to this store. Prior to arriving, I made a phone call to ask for a quote. They told me for a premium screen replacement for an iPhone 11 Pro Max, it will cost $120, which was much cheaper than every place I've called for a quote which was at least $150 and up. Hearing that price, I immediately gained hope and drove to the store. Upon arrival at the store, I see two people. One at the phone desk and another that came from the back, possibly the owner? I claimed that I made a phone call earlier in the day, but they were both confused. This was not a problem, since they probably get a handful of calls. I just want to point out that there can be miscommunication happening here, which definitely happened down the line... I brought up that I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and would like to get a premium screen replacement, which means that the LED screen will attempt to resemble the original LED colors as much as possible. The owner wrote up my info on the receipt, and he took it to the back, and within 20 minutes, the screen was fixed! The owner typically offers a complimentary phone case to the customers, however, he did not have my phone's model, so he gave me a USB charger cable instead which was great. After checking out the screen and turning on/off the phone and adjusting the screen brightness, the phone was in working condition, and I was ready to pay. The owner said their credit card reader is broken, so there's only two options: cash or Zelle. Luckily, I did read other Google reviews and the previous customers stated there were many problems with the credit card reader, so I made sure to bring cash. When I left the store, I immediately called my cousin to share the great news that my phone was fixed, and noticed that the sound was extremely weird. The volume sounded very muffled, and it seemed like the phone was underwater(?) for lack of a better word. I confirmed with my cousin on the call that my voice sounded fine, however, her voice sounded muffled. I ended the call, and tested the music, and again, the same issue was happening so it seems like any sound from the other side of the phone has issues. I tried overlooking this for a few days, however, I could not bear the muffled sound anymore, and I made a store visit again. When I arrived at 6:30pm, I saw the owner was out in front, and he was in a COMPLETE deep sleep. I greeted him normally, and no response. I raised my voice and said excuse me loudly, and again no response. I tapped on the desk, I said hello for the nth time, and nothing. I was there for about five to seven minutes just calling out, tapping and knocking on the tables, and anything I could do to wake him before I gave up. I was honestly baffled as to what to do next, since I have never experienced this before. I was aware that the store closes at 7pm, and I understand there are long days, so I ultimately decided to go home and come back again the next day, and let him rest.... .....REVIEW CONTINUED IN PICTURES.....

Very great service. Sam was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my iPhone 14 Pro camera broke, and apple quoted me $499 to replace it, which is probably more than the phone is worth. Luckily, Green Zone tech was able to replace it for just $130. If you need to repair your iphone, this is a great place to come.

Came in for iPhone cracked screen. Great customer service and also fast service at that. Very reliable service.

My teenage daughter has shattered her iPhone X screen TWICE in the last year~ Have gone to Green Zone Tech both times and could not be happier with the service, value, and quality of product they provide! It's a tiny shop located in Monterey Park on Atlantic. It's right next to a Dollar Tree so if you pass that then you've gone too far! Im not sure if the actual door to the business actually physically opens- I know this sounds weird, but both times I've gone I call first. I tell the owner what kind of phone I have and what kind of repair I need. He gives me a quote and I tell him when I'll be there. When I arrive there is literally a slot in the door- I hand him my phone and my cash. He never opens the door! I believe he started doing this during Covid lockdown but he still operates the same way. Anywho, in about 10-15 minutes I go back and my screen is repaired! He quoted me the cheapest price and I also got a free screen protector after showing him I checked in on yelp! SUPER fast service and great repair work~ most definitely recommend him to all of my friends, family, and fellow Yelpers! read more

The problem with this business... is that you hand your phone into this window, come back in 25 min and hand your cash over. No receipts. So I did this with my iphone and it started malfunctioning a few days later. I didn't even bother going back. First of all.. get a receipt and make sure the person has your confidence that you can bring it back if it doesn't work. Don't go to some shady place with some dude who doesn't communicate in english (unless you can speak mandarin, that works). read more

My Galaxy Note 20 Ultra's screen cracked in a bad way where half the screen went blank white, and the upper half still would show images but wouldn't register touch. It was all fine and good with the communication to get it fixed. The screen they installed was an aftermarket which was fine. The issue was what happened after a few hours of having the phone. He gave the phone to me at 11:48 AM. He placed the phone back into the phonecase I had on it himself. I didn't think anything of it. The screen worked fine, everything seemed fine. At 6:46 PM, I go to change the case on my phone and the back of the phone fell off. I inspected the phone and noticed visible dents on the bottom of the phone probably from trying to take it apart. My phone was in prime condition besides the broken screen so things like this is very noticeable. I stuck the back part of the phone back onto my phone and put it into the case. This phone is supposed to be water resistant but I'm guessing the water-resistance is nil now. Honestly disappointed and wondering how they're going to fix this. No wonder they don't give receipts. Edit: seems like they lack response when there's an issue but once they want money they respond quick. Don't go here. They take cash only, no card and don't give receipts on purpose. read more

I dropped my phone on concrete and did a wonderful job shattering my phone screen. I use my phone constantly for work, so I needed to get it fixed immediately. I called several phone repair businesses, and I love how prompt Green Zone Tech was in getting back to me with a quote. I was able to drop my phone off immediately and got it back within 2 hours. It looks brand spankin' new, woohoo! Heads up, this place ONLY ACCEPTS CASH. For a Galaxy S9+, he quoted me $240. Considering the last minute service request and the great outcome, the price was worth it. I paid him when I returned to pick up the phone. I think it's due to covid, but FYI: you don't enter the store. He keeps the door locked and you discuss everything through the glass door. You pass the phone to him through the mail slot. I found plenty of street parking along the busy road. Highly recommended if you need your phone repaired ASAP! read more

I called to ask about this store. My Samsung note 8 phone screen is broken. The clerk n patiently answered my question, and it took only 2 hours to fix my phone. In the process of chatting, I realized that Samsung mobile phones are not as simple as Apple phones. And the price is higher than the Apple phone. Not only do they repair what they sell but they offer cell plans and other options & devices too. I went in as my Motorola died the screen went black and it looked like the battery oozed and old water damage to my phone as well so this was a seemingly hopeless cause as I literally had 11 gigabytes of photos and videos of my Momma who had just passed all in that phone and no way to get them out. I was distraught to say the least but knew I had come to this same store about 8 months back and they had replaced my cracked screen in under a half hour and for under a hundred bucks too. This was incredible as I had tried other stores shopping around and all wanted double or triple and told me it would take days. Not T.J. Cell Phone Repair they are superb and aim to please. They are willing to take on problems that others could NEVER FIX!! Anyways that leads me to today's dilemma I had a new phone and had whatever photos that were in my memory card that was full, however about 11 gigabytes of my family our vacations and trips partys etc and most importantly the last year of My Mommas life which I had so many pictures of her and I and various other family members. These were priceless to me but how can I get them into my new cell with a screen that's black so you can't give the command to share to another phone. TJ and his partner tried again and again to get my screen up and running even with the inside computer system slowly dying due to the water damage and battery acid leaking. Where others would have given up and said sorry buddy we don't have the time (as they are a business)they both made it a point to retrieve my Mom's pictures for me as I explained it all to them and they empathized with me completely. Long story short they managed re-hooking up the screen though you could barely see what was on it and then had these super bright lamps shine on the screen as they could barely make out what button for each file they had to send to a new memory card they put in my old phone. After an arduous few hours they had recovered all 11 gigabytes of precious memories and then when I came in they put that memory card in my phone and transfered ALL MY PRECIOUS PICTURES to my new phone and I can't thank them enough. THAT WAS A MIRACLE FOR ME!!! I now have a new phone with plenty of memory space and ALL my old photos and am one happy camper. If you've read through all this you can see this is a store unlike no other. TJ Cell Phone Repair really cares about their customers and "bends over backward" to accommodate them. Suddenly, the volume button also stopped working, which meant she couldn't restart the phone at all when the screen froze. We were looking for a bare minimum solution, to have the old phone be functional long enough to transfer her data to a new phone. I called a few places looking for a simple, temporary fix, and luckily found this store. When I explained the situation, they offered to help with the data transfer instead of repairing the older phone. They temporarily installed a working screen on the old phone, let us complete the transfer, and then even swapped the cracked screen back afterward. They went above and beyond, no other store offered a similar solution besides repairing the old phone completely. I would absolutely recommend this place!
