I always protect my Apple devices. But during the pandemic with client projects escalating with flux-y competing deadlines, things were a bit hectic. So while eating my lunch using the right hand and phone on the left, my phone rang. Muhmuhmy reactionNNnnn between a mouthful of food and trying to catch my phone that was slipping catapulted my phone 15 feet up in the air and landed heads side down on concrete. That was a new one. My phone face spider-webbed and sighed Ouch! I thought I could live with a cracked iPhone until businesses reopened. That lasted a day, especially after noticing clients eyeing my handicapped phone. Apple was closed because of Covid but NuScreen came up on Yelp! Brilliant. I called and they're open. Awesome. Went. Paid. 20 minute wait. Fixed. Efficiency was highly appreciated here. I was glad. They don't have genuine Apple parts but hey I was grateful I could go back to my clients looking professional. Next pandemic and something happens like this? I now know about NuScreen. Thanks Yelp.....always to the rescue... even during a Pandemic!!!! Dayum! Tip: Call first in case there's a line. Lots of places to lunch it up close by. I came in with my dad today who wouldn't listen to me about his phone not charging. I asked the guy whether or not the port was just dirty he tells me the port is broken / not working. They tried to charge me $390 for iPhone 13 pro screen repair. Apple themselves do it for $275 and they wanna changed more when they probably use third party screens too. Don't come here, and judging by other reviews there quality is cheap and they overprice. read more

This place is hidden gem. Phone screen cracked and was Bobby was able to replace my screen in 20 minutes! And they gave me a complimentary screen cover. I spent $110 including tax. If I were to go to apple store would need to wait for genius support and spend $160 plus tax. Thanks for your guys excellent and efficient service! Will definitely be referring my friends and family. Only thing is that after the screen change, at certain times the screen has become less sensitive to letters. read more

This place is like the dishonest car mechanic of iPhones. Replaced a two screens in two months and now the second screen won't work. Parts don't work. They don't honor their 30 day warranty. The technician is poorly trained. And poor customer service. The second screen I purchased broke after 3 days. Parts are not of fair and average quality I won't spend any more money here. I took my phone in a week ago to get the screen repaired. This is my 2nd time here. I was assisted by Jack, who was prompt and had my phone ready in like 30 minutes. So far, no issues with my new screen. It's a little more touch sensitive than the original, but no issues. I left my other phone to be checked for a diagnostic check, and was contacted as promised. I was given an estimate that was much more reasonable than other places. I trust they will do a good job! But overall, I highly recommend! They accept debit/credit but charge tax. The back glass on my Samsung s9 was cracked. When I called Nu Screen for an estimate and asked if the glass is an OEM, they said Yes. So I had my glass replaced by Nu Screen. Three months later, I cracked the front glass and decided to have an authorized Samsung repair shop to replace the front glass. The authorized repair shop told me the back glass is not an Samsung OEM glass and they can't repair my phone due to Samsung policy, they can't work on a Samsung phone that has non-OEM part. I'm disappointed that Nu didn't tell me the truth on the part they are using. Now, I can't have my phone fixed by an Samsung authorized repair shop. Listen learned... you can only get the original part from an authorized repair shop. read more

Came here to get my iPhone battery replaced. Spoke to Jeff who said they carried OEM and aftermarket batteries, so I requested for the OEM. The next day, my battery would not charge; my phone eventually died and would not turn back on! I figured I just got a bad battery, so returned to the store the next day hoping to get it switched for another new one. I was helped by Mandy who I felt was unprofessional. She called Jeff to figure out my situation and then stared scolding him about an issue. It was pretty inappropriate and uncomfortable for me to hear as a customer. Anyways, after 30 minutes of trying to figure out if the issue was my phone or the battery, she finally agreed that it was just a bad battery. However, she unable to help me since they did not have anymore OEM batteries in stock. She then offered me a loner battery which is a used battery taken out from an broken iPhone. This is what frustrated me ... she asked me if I just wanted to keep this battery instead since it is Apple brand. I said no because I wanted a brand new OEM battery, it is what I paid for. She then CONFESSED that her OEM batteries are not truly OEM and that I'm better off keeping the used loner battery. WTH?! How can they advertise their product as OEM and charge extra money when it is not?? I was really upset. I told her I wanted a brand new OEM battery because that is what I paid for and what you told me I was getting. Mandy told me she'll get me the OEM battery and give me call once they get it. I NEVER GOT A CALL BACK. My current battery life is worse than before I switched it. Instead of getting a brand new OEM battery, I got half life used loner Apple battery. Pleaseeee go somewhere else to change your battery. This place is untrustworthy and unreliable!!! read more

Poor screen quality. Got my iPhone 11 Pro Max screen replaced here. The screen quality was awful and sensitive. I kept accidentally pushing random buttons on the screen. The screen has random dark spot and when I brought it up the guy said it's cuz I dropped my phone too much. Which is NOT TRUE because I got my screen replaced again and the dark spots were gone. They replaced my iPhone 8+ screen for only 100 dollars, and it only took 15-20 minutes. The guy was very friendly, speaks both English and Chinese. The new screen works great, and though it's probably not as high quality as the original one, I can still see and do everything just fine. Cheap price, but you get what you pay for. The newly installed screen's colors were off and not as saturated as the original. Colors look faded. I'd come back because it was cheap and my phone is old, but the screen is definitely lower quality. Service was quick and good. 103 (including tax) bucks for iPhone 7 Plus screen repair. read more

This place is horrible, I got the back glass replaced on my iPhone replaced. They assured me that's it was an "original" piece. I noticed the color was a bit off but I thought that was just my eyes, ya know? But, when I went to the Apple store they told me that this piece was a fake. I even called them asking if the parts were real, and they assured me it was real. Anyways since Nu Screen, a third party did repairs on my phone the Apple care I bought was "void". To put a long story short, don't go to Nu Screen, their parts are fake and cheap. I don't know how they got all these 5 star reviews smh read more

I never been to this place before for my cracked screen. But I called and the price was reasonable for a iPhone 6+ screen and they told me they put original screens on. In addition to that they were open late and the other iPhone place I go to was closed as well as the rest on yelp. So I went dropped off my phone, and said he will be done in 15 mins I came back in 6mins and he was finished with my phone. Great nice quick service. Recommended read more

Okay so I came here to get my Apple iPad repaired. When I called, they gave me a quote on the price so I decided to head over. Upon bringing my iPad they realized that they quoted me the wrong price because mine was the newer one. They were nice enough to go ahead and repair my IPad at the price they quoted me at since I was already in store and they had the replacement parts on hand. Unfortunately, they had to call me a while later and let me know they didn't actually have the part in store after all and had to order it. It turns out, the parts that were needed to fix my iPad cost them the same amount they agreed to charge me. And STILL they stuck true to their word and charged me only what they quoted me. They have great customer service and I definitely recommend them for any repairs. They called me to keep me updated on the repair process and even called me to let me know as soon as it was ready.
