She also graciously validates parking. I came in late afternoon to have her inspect my older Samsung phone. Parts took two days to arrive; if you go early enough, they sometimes come the next day. She orders Samsung screens made in Korea. They are not OEM, but mine passed the fingerprint sensor configuration test, which is important. You want to see if the screen's sensitivity is working properly. If you don't want fingerprint login, just delete it after the test. There's a 90-day warranty. I returned two days later. She installed the replacement screen and camera while I waited in the lobby. There's a comfortable black couch and a nice view of shoppers at The Paseo. She really rescued this phone. Another shop had damaged the camera while replacing a cracked screen and sold me a knockoff that developed vertical lines in under a year and wasn't touch-sensitive. Jessica replaced that non-Korea screen and fixed the camera. If you need Samsung repair, go to Cosmo. Wherever you take the phone, ask for a Korea-made screen and confirm it passes the fingerprint sensor configuration test before you leave.

She was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire process to me. Since I arrived close to closing time and didn't have an appointment, she let me know they would run diagnostics on my laptop the following day. There's an $89 diagnostic fee, and if repairs are needed, part of the $89 fee can be used towards the cost, which felt reasonable. The next day, Martin called to let me know there was no damage and that he had cleaned the affected keys. He explained that my laptop passed all tests, but the battery was consumed. When I wasn't sure what that meant, he patiently explained and advised that since the battery wasn't swelling and the computer was still performing well, there was no need to replace it unless I noticed issues. I specifically confirmed my phone model, and I was told in writing that the screen replacement started at $208.80 + tax. Based on that information, I decided to make an appointment with them. After making the appointment and showing up, I was suddenly told that the price I had been given was wrong and that the repair would actually cost around $330. How does a customer receive a specific price, schedule an appointment based on that price, and then arrive at the store only to be told that the price was incorrect? If the $208.80 price was wrong, it should have been corrected before I made an appointment and wasted my time. What makes this even more frustrating is that they advertise themselves as an authorized repair provider and emphasize their professionalism and quality of service. I expected the basic courtesy of being given accurate pricing before committing to an appointment. I have no problem paying a fair price for quality work, but I do have a problem with being quoted one price and then being told something completely different after I've already made the trip and scheduled an appointment. I strongly recommend confirming the price in person before making an appointment, because the price you are given initially may apparently not be the price you're actually charged.
