Also, there is a bright spot on my phone on the right side, which affects my wallpaper. I came into this place to have it checked out and see how much it would cost to repair. The tech took one look at the photo and said it's not the screen that's damaged. It's the photo is highlighting a glare in the background. He switched it to night mode, and the glare was gone, so it was clearly the photo I had as a background and not the screen itself. Also, I asked him about the streaks of light on my photos. He took one look at it and said that my lens cover is really dusty. He cleaned it off and we took a photo and all the streaks were gone. I wanna point this out because these are two things that any dishonest repair shop can easily say they will look at it and fix it and charge me $100-$200. Because of their honesty, this was a five minute visit where he did want adjustment and one lens cleaning and didn't even charge me. It's good to know that they are still honest repairman out there. The two lenses were a 70 to 200 EF mount 2.8 and an 85 mm F1.2 lens. All Canon. They've done an excellent job on repairing these lenses for me. And also did an excellent job on the C100 mark two video camera they repaired for me. The work has been efficient, timely, and I've never had to bring any Repair back to fix any problem. I think that a lot of people may have a problem with an increased price after diagnosis, but I think that's expected with camera repair. My advice is follow your gut if you're looking for a camera repair shop. The story: I made a risky purchase on Mercari for a DSLR and I ended up needing to have the camera repaired. There aren't many repair shops in the bay area and the ones I did get quotes for were very out of my expected price range. I found Camera Repair Center through a google search and reached out for a quote. I received a reasonable quote and sent my camera in for repair. I didn't read any reviews for Camera Repair Center prior to sending in my camera in and once I did read reviews my expectations for this camera situation heavily lowered based on what I read here on Yelp. My camera was received and I got an updated quote: The updated quote was higher than my initial quote but the person I was in talks with broke down what the diagnosis showed and the parts that were needed, which I was told was OEM parts. Verbatim text from email: "Rest assured that your unit will be meticulously cleaned, re-calibrated, and re-aligned to factory specifications as part of the repair process. We exclusively utilize original genuine OEM parts in all our repairs to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. Our repair estimates cover the cost of parts, labor, as well as free ground return shipping within the U.S.A." The conclusion: After everything was completed, I received the camera about 1 week after we confirmed the repair and the camera came in a heavily padded box with my receipt. I got the camera put together and everything worked as intended. I probably only used it for a total of 20 mins after I got it up and running but no issues during that time. I wouldn't say it was a 5-star experience but I didn't experience what others have mentioned. I wish that I had taken a picture of how the camera arrived but I forgot to because I was too eager to get it unwrapped.

our experience started with a leak in our refrigerator ice cube maker which leaked on our wooden…read moreflooring on sunday. we called a plumber and a11appliance. we got an emergency plumber to come out that night and turn the water off to the ice maker. he also said to call an appliance repair to see if it was a refrigerator problem. a11 sent val to see us on monday as well as having a plumber here to help with the leaking shut off valve to the ice maker. bottom line is that val came out to check the refrig. he did a great job of showing us all about the issues with the refrig as it's 20 yrs old. he found a broken water line, lots of dust clogging the upper part of the refrig and did a diagnostic check on every necessary part. he explained everything clearly and we authorized a total repair. val was terrific and we are now scheduling annual or sooner preventive maintenance with val at a11 as he was so knowledgeable and respective. very pleasant person to have in your home. he did a great job and the refrigerator is now fixed and running. thanks val for your service. we'll see you in the future for any appliance issues. highly recommended.
