I specifically confirmed my phone model, and I was told in writing that the screen replacement started at $208.80 + tax. Based on that information, I decided to make an appointment with them. After making the appointment and showing up, I was suddenly told that the price I had been given was wrong and that the repair would actually cost around $330. How does a customer receive a specific price, schedule an appointment based on that price, and then arrive at the store only to be told that the price was incorrect? If the $208.80 price was wrong, it should have been corrected before I made an appointment and wasted my time. What makes this even more frustrating is that they advertise themselves as an authorized repair provider and emphasize their professionalism and quality of service. I expected the basic courtesy of being given accurate pricing before committing to an appointment. I have no problem paying a fair price for quality work, but I do have a problem with being quoted one price and then being told something completely different after I've already made the trip and scheduled an appointment. I strongly recommend confirming the price in person before making an appointment, because the price you are given initially may apparently not be the price you're actually charged. Very disappointing experience and a complete waste of my time.

However, when I inspected the returned lens, the tripod collar was still completely stuck in the exact same condition as when I sent it in. It is impossible to disassemble this lens model without first removing the tripod collar. They never actually opened or worked on the lens--they simply held my equipment hostage after I refused an upcharge. Over $150.00 for nothing. Save yourself the headache and take your gear elsewhere.

I think that a lot of people may have a problem with an increased price after diagnosis, but I think that's expected with camera repair.
