our experience started with a leak in our refrigerator ice cube maker which leaked on our wooden flooring on sunday. we called a plumber and a11appliance. we got an emergency plumber to come out that night and turn the water off to the ice maker. he also said to call an appliance repair to see if it was a refrigerator problem. a11 sent val to see us on monday as well as having a plumber here to help with the leaking shut off valve to the ice maker. bottom line is that val came out to check the refrig. he did a great job of showing us all about the issues with the refrig as it's 20 yrs old. he found a broken water line, lots of dust clogging the upper part of the refrig and did a diagnostic check on every necessary part. he explained everything clearly and we authorized a total repair. val was terrific and we are now scheduling annual or sooner preventive maintenance with val at a11 as he was so knowledgeable and respective. very pleasant person to have in your home. he did a great job and the refrigerator is now fixed and running. thanks val for your service. we'll see you in the future for any appliance issues. highly recommended. I called them at 7am this morning because our Whirlpool fridge went out in the middle of the night...there were no lights when you opened the fridge door and I hears a faint but repetitive clunking noise. I called and got an appointment over the weekend within an hour. That's very amazing and their diagnostic check fee is very reasonable. I had an older Kitchenaid beverage fridge that I needed to get diagnostics for to check how much the repairs would cost and the technician did a very thorough job on the analysis. He explained in full detail what needed to be fixed and didn't try to push me to repair it. He actually recommended that I buy a new one because the cost of repairing it would be way too high compared to buying a new one. I used AI with my washing machine's official service manual to try to fix my washing machine and it was a total fail. AI first had me order an inverter that turned out to be for side loaders, not my top loader. Then it told me the problem was a shift actuator that needed to be replaced... and it made sense as online it said that it would fix the problem of the washer quitting just two minutes into the wash cycle after filling. I replaced it and it still didn't work. I finally called A11 after searching for the best reviewed services in my area. They came up #1. Dennis came out same day, diagnosed the problem as a motor sensor problem combined with a corroded electrical plug. He knew from the symptoms that it wasn't what AI said. The next business day he came with the parts and fixed it. I'm very handy and I have saved thousands doing home improvement work myself. But the expertise was top notch, the price was amazing, and I was able to enjoy the weekend rather than guess at the fix myself. I am going to use AI more skeptically in the future. I used the camera and voice mode to diagnose and fix. It sucked. I ran error codes, did all the steps the manufacturer recommended. But I hit a head end. Dennis is the man!! He understood the nuance of what symptoms meant what and zeroed in. Clean, professional, amazing job! In trying to insert it somewhere in the gasket...okay, my bad. It fell into the washer, between the metal exterior housing and the drum. At first it just made a little rattling sound when the washer went into spin, but after a few months, it got 8.0 earthquake-level scary. I have a not so old washing machine that always smelled, and my laundry, post-wash, always had a moldy scent. I didn't want to purchase a new machine so I figured I'd get an expert out here to see if something else could be done.
