Artur came out to diagnose a leaking dishwasher for me. He did charge me a small ($50) service fee for the visit. But it was applicable toward any repair work performed, besides, I'd rather pay a small fee for someone's time and expertise rather than have them do an unnecessary repair to make it worth their while. I assumed the door gasket was bad and asked him to replace it. He didn't. He showed me that wouldn't make any difference because the appliance had simply aged out and was breaking down. Tech Pro Appliance Repairs is by far the most honest appliance repair company you will ever find! Our fridge was malfunctioning, over freezing, and the fridge wasn't getting cold enough.. I called and they had a repair man out the very same day who ordered parts for us and began the repairs right on the spot. It was the fan and a few other issues that were going on behind the freezer, compressor or maybe or other things. Once the freezer had thawed, he was able to open up and see inside to assess. The repair man said he could fix all of the parts and order more parts that we needed, but honestly, it wasn't worth what it would cost us, about $1000. Because our fridge is so old, we would be better off getting a newer one. Our fridge was a Big Chill from 2007, but it looked cool so we wanted to keep it. The repair man was so honest that he told us it wasn't worth it, he wanted us to save our money and get something that was better quality, that he'd have the company refund everything for the parts, the cleaning and the thawing of the fridge which thawing/cleaning alone usually costs just $200 from them and up to $700 from other companies. He completely stood by his word, put our fridge back together, made it work until we can get a new one and refunded our money! Even after all the work he did and the parts that he ordered. We still paid him the one time $55 service fee for coming out to our house twice though! I mean honestly, if you live anywhere near the Glendale, Eagle rock, Highland Park, or Pasadena area you are lucky because you would get to use these guys! Never seen anyone as knowledgeable, competent and honest as the team at Tech Pro Appliance Repairs. Definitely will recommend them to all my friends and neighbors for appliance repairs! read more
