This place is great! We've used them twice. Once for the front load clothes washer door lock I broke. This second time the condenser on our refrigerator/freezer stopped working. Both times they came to the house same day, game an estimate, explained what they saw, the process and gave a fair price quote which they explained. They took care of the problems and were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company! UPDATE: The refrigerator/freezer was not working properly 2 days later. I called A&Y and they came out within the hour, diagnosed and fixed the issue FREE OF CHARGE. They stand behind their guarantee! THANKS AGAIN A&Y! read more

Our oven quit heating & my husband is very handy with appliance repairs but this time he couldn't resolve the issue. A&Y came highly recommended. We called them & an appliance service technician came out that day very same day & on a Saturday! He diagnosed the issue and told us he would call us when our part was in. Our part was in and only three days. We reached a text to say that our technician would be out before a specific time and no, we did not have to wait! Our specific technician was Mikyel - who was so very efficient, tidy, informative & beyond polite! We highly recommend this company! We will most definitely be using them in the future. Should we ever need their services. *Repairing our oven versus having to replace it and buy a new one was such a relief. read more

A&Y has good reviews on google and the few reviews on Yelp were also positive so I decided to give them a try. They came out the same day I called, which was unexpected and great! They sent me live updates so I knew when service was going to start. Our dishwasher wasn't draining, and Ara came in between the 4-6 PM time frame (at 4:11 PM, at the beginning of the window) and gave us a quote. We accepted and in less than 30 minutes our dishwasher was working again. I think the rate was reasonable for how fast and efficient the whole process was. While I hope to never need them again, if anything else breaks down, I know who I'll be calling. read more

A&Y Appliances - Appliances & Repair Near Me - Glendale, California

Very good experience for repair of a refrigerator failing to keep cold on one of the hottest Fridays. First, a pleasant human actually answered the phone , no waiting for text replies. She gave an appt window for that afternoon & texted when technician was on his way. David came & diagnosed the problem quickly. He sourced & ordered the part & gave an estimate before retrieving & installing the part within a short period of time. He was pleasant & neat & informed us of the problem & procedures. The estimate was fair. We would call them again. read more

I deeply appreciated how fast A&Y responded to my emergency call. Vardan was professional, thorough and explained the problem well. I decided to buy new fridge because the Samsung refrigerators have a serious design flaw. The heating element is too close to the plastic backing therefore ultimately cracks the plastic. Once this happens it's pretty inevitable it will have again and again. read more

Fast, expert service in less than an hour. Three stars because the price seemed excessive for the work performed.

This is the second time A&Y has come to my home to fix an issue with my refrigerator and both times the technician arrived quickly on the same day I called, was respectful, and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Highly recommend. read more

Live in Ventura County and couldn't get ANY repair company to come and look at/repair our oven for at least a week. One local company said they couldn't come until after Christmas- it's Dec 5th! Your technician came and had the oven fixed in 2 days. Great service, thank you! read more

Quick response. The repairman showed up the day. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the microwave and fixed it. Fair price. Would certainly call A&Y appliances again. read more

Highly recommended! A&Y technician came within 30 minutes, quickly identified and fixed the problem with my dishwasher.

Our experience with A&Y was wonderful! I contacted Mikayel because our dryer was not emitting any heat. He offered to come out the same evening, which I found amazing and was exceedingly grateful for, but I was not available because I hadn't expected such a quick response. Mikayel came out the next morning and had the problem resolved very quickly. He was great at explaining everything that was going on to my son so that we had a clear understanding of what went wrong and how to problem solve in the future. He was responsive, quick, polite, and professional. He gave us a fair estimate and stuck to that price. I highly recommend A&Y to others and have them on my list of businesses I trust if we need work done in the future. Thank you, Mikayel! read more

Found A&Y on Yelp after a tenant reported her dryer was making a squeaking noise. Mike was very quick to respond to my message on Yelp, and was very helpful, professional, and prompt on the phone. He was able to get someone out very quickly to diagnose and fix the problem at a very reasonable rate. I will definitely reach out to A&Y again in the future! read more

I first reached out to this company, because I was having a problem with my washing machine. The person who answered the phone was very straightforward, clear, and professional. I called and asked if someone can head on over ASAP, and meanwhile all of the sudden my machine started working. Then after I waited some time, it had stopped working again, so then I reached back out, to see if anyone was still available to come over and check out what the problem was. The communication was very quick, and the company was super responsive. One of the technicians Eugene, had arrived in no time! He was super sweet, and was able to help me repair my washing machine timely and cost efficiently. He did a good job, and I highly recommend this company! Thank you A & Y Appliances!! read more

After scheduling a "3rd" repair call with another company , then having that company cancel the appointment 3 hours before the appointment, I called A&Y out of sheer desperation. What a luck call!!! The call manager immediately scheduled the tech. Mike came out, at the same time as our original appointment. He diagnosed, serviced, and solved the issue. Great way to start the weekend! Well done! read more

This was the best appliance repair company I have ever used. The person answering the phone was clear speaking and professional. He said the repair person would be at my home within two hours for my refrigerator repair. He sent me a text with confirmation and Mikayel as the repair person. Mikayel arrived on time, introduced himself and got to work. He diagnosed the problem within 10-15 minutes and started the repair. The problem was frozen water in the water supply line which took over an hour to dislodge. He even had to leave the house to get a better tool for unfreezing the line since his steamer was not doing the job. During all the time Mikayel was totally communicative, calm and professional and spent as much time as necessary to finally unfreeze the line. We could not have asked for a more dedicated repair person as Mikayel and would definitely call A&Y Appliances in the future should the need arise. I would give them 10 stars if I could. read more
