Requested help from dans tv to help repair failing backlights on my 50 inch V505-G9 vizio tv. He was very nice and came to pick up my tv and repair it in the shop. Brought it back and all 8 backlights are renewed and itll hopefully get many more years. He helped me get it back up and running too. At first things didnt seem to be working, but after tinkering with it i found the issue and i factory reset the tv and that seemed to do the trick. It seems the tv was very cranky from being worked on and having its guts removed it needed a full reset. I wanted to wait a day or so before writing my review just incase something happened. But im happy to say everythings good! I would definitely reccomend this guy if you need your tv fixed right! His prices are very reasonable too. More affordable to repair my vizio model than to buy another outright. read more

My Sony Bravia 65" TV suddenly stopped working and was blinking 6 red lights at the bottom. I didn't have a big enough car to take my TV to a repair shop, so I was glad to have found a mobile technician willing to come to my home and pick up my TV. Technician Arthur was able to run diagnostics in my home on my TV and determine my LEDs went bad. He then took my TV to the shop for repair and delivered it back to me in working order. Helped me re mount my TV and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. Recommended that I not use the vivid settings as that might have been the cause of my LEDs going out. He fixed it for $350. He took the tv from my house to order the part which is weird cuz when he brought back the tv he changed the part at my house prior to reinstalling the TV. It only took him a few minutes but made me wonder why he took the tv? I had a great experience with this company repairing my 75 inch Samsung QLED TV. Artur was able to schedule me right away, he was a charming and knowledgeable guy, told me one printed circuit board (PCB) needed replacing and another needed repair. Said it would take about 4 days if he took just the PCBs at issue with him not the whole TV; and the visit charge was credited towards the price. Less than a week later, Artur came back, reinstalled the PCBs and the TV worked again, very sharp picture. Artur made sure all my previously connected HDMI and other cables were reconnected and worked. In mid-June, my mother's 65" Sony Bravia TV had sound, but no picture. I discovered Dan's TV and Electronics by reading another customer's review of their troubles with this type of TV. So I called and spoke to Arthur who was on site the very next day. He determined that my mother's TV had a backlight failure, which is apparently is more common with this type of TV. Arthur was very clear about pricing, lead times, and what repairs needed to by done. So we agreed to have service done and I helped Arthur load the the TV into his van. It only took less than 1 week for them to repair the TV. They also did a software update which was needed since my mother has seen warning messages from this TV regarding this update. I was reading some others real reviews and I'm find out more and more horrible things about Arthur. Someone called him a crook!!! I agree. He charges diferentes rates to come to your house, based on others reviews he charged $125 to others customers, told me that he was going to charge me $90 and would put towards the price if I decided to fix the TV with him. I don't trust that he did that. He over charged me, and lied about the price. He charged me $350 and I'm sure the $90 was included in there. Totally over charged me. And did not fix my TV, and suggested to recycle my tv. Totally don't trust him. Way out of line! Do NOT trust this guy...rude and he will disrespect you inside your own house. I called Dan's on a Saturday just before their 3pm close time, was estimated an arrival time between 5-6pm, he arrived just before 6pm, took TV from the mount on the wall, open TV up, diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes, had the part needed, installed it quickly, rehung tv, made sure all inputs were working properly before preparing my bill which was I thought a very fair price. He even gave me some free pointers on a problem I was having with a different TV which is saving me money from vendors I did not need.
