Mike really knows his stuff, he resurrected my JCP Marshall from a hack job that had been done to it by a different repair shop. 'I cant believe it worked at all!' He said, (the previous guy had left glue leaking all over inside the cab-) Anyway Mike cleaned it up in a timely manner and had it working like new for a reasonable price. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with any other amp repair in the valley. Mike is the guy you want working on your gear. Even gave me diagram of the fuses he replaced, etc. very cool dude. I'm not a professional musician but I love playing guitar. I mostly stick to small practice amps. However I do own an old super loud Fender Twin that had been sitting unused in my garage for years. I thought it was time to brush it off and plug it in. Unfortunately, after years of neglect it was in sad shape. Based on the Yelp reviews I decided to take it to Mike to see if he could get it back up and running. He did a fantastic job. And my Twin sounds amazing now. Mike is the real deal. I had a presence knob pot disintegrate on a Reverend Hellhound and a reverb issue, and Mike fixed it all beautifully, and it cost less than I expected. I'm no amp expert, but I maintain modify my guitars, solder pickups and pots and other basic electronics. When I opened up this amp to see if I wanted to try to fix it myself, I figured out pretty quick that it was gonna be a pain in the butt, like I couldn't even figure out how to get enough clearance to get the control pot circuit board free, and I wasn't going to start taking other things apart to get at it. Mike looked at it, and of course said not a problem, asked if this was my primary amp and if I needed it it right away (which it isn't), and still had it done as soon as the replacement part arrived. Also, I'm really into Covid virus safety and I really appreciated Mike's safety protocols. (Call when outside the door, masks, one customer at a time etc).
