I spent a couple weeks gathering all the components I've been eyeing and made the pilgrimage down to Micro Center (in Tustin) to take advantage of a great MOBO/Proc/RAM bundle. The last time I built a PC was in 2008 and at this point in my life, I just wanted an expert to help me get everything running and optimized. Gar was that expert. I dropped off my PC at 10 AM and he had it completely diagnosed and fixed by 3:30 PM - same day service when most shops would have kept it for days. But what really impressed me was how Garnik actually took the time to explain everything instead of just doing the work and handing it back. He didn't just slap on new thermal paste and call it done. He properly reapplied the paste, then noticed my fan configuration was all wrong and moved everything to the correct CPU pump headers and fan headers. He walked me through exactly what was causing the thermal problems and how he fixed them, then stress tested the whole system right in front of me so I could see it was running properly. Garnik was super knowledgeable, friendly, and got everything done way faster than I expected. It's honestly rare to find someone who knows their stuff this well and actually takes the time to make sure you understand what's going on with your build. He recently in one day replaced a hard drive on my computer and stayed at the office until after 9 PM to get my new hard drive up and running for the next day. My 4-year-old laptop gave a warning that the hard drive was in some sort of grave danger. So I…read moregoogled "laptop repair" and my zip code and found On Time in Sunland and called. Luckily, Vito answered and was in the office, so I brought the computer in and he offered to replace the hard drive for $140, labor & reinstalling everything (by imaging the old hard drive which was just old, not infected) included. This was at about 4:00 PM on a Saturday, and he would have been able to return the computer that night!! But I wasn't in that big of a hurry and picked it up the next day so the guy wouldn't have to work late. Here's the 5-star part: I discovered that email would not under any circumstances display pictures, and that Windows Explorer/My Computer would not do searches. So using the image of the old hard drive had evidently not gone as well as hoped--the damage, whatever it was, caused some parts of the image to not transfer. Then after Vito did clean re-installs, there were further issues, and the short version is that Vito had to wipe the new hard drive completely and re-install everything from scratch. POINT: after the initial work, he spent at least 5-6 hours on the phone with me, in the office, and on his own getting the new hard drive completely working and all details the way I wanted, at no extra charge, and with no complaints or attitude or hinting that it might be my fault like some people would. I will always take my computers to him if and when they have any problems! VITO YOU'RE THE BEST--THANK YOU!!!

Art is fantastic! I used him once before for an issue with my laptop screen and he was fast, honest, and able to diagnose it over the phone. This second time around he did not disappoint! I changed my router name/password and after doing so, my laptop wouldn't connect. Every other device in my home was working just fine. The phone carrier threw their hands up and said it wasn't their issue and I needed to find a computer guy. Lucky for me, I already had one! Art said to bring it right in. He had it fixed by that afternoon and even tried to help me out with some barely hanging on hinges. He was really honest with me about how much i should invest in this old laptop, and when I should start to look for a replacement. I spilled a little bit of tea on only the trackpad area of my MacBook and took it to Apple for servicing at first, where they quoted me a ridiculous, blood-pressure-raising price-- enough to just buy a brand new MacBook instead. Leaving in frustration, I told my friend about it and she recommended that I come to Art's for all my computer related needs and I'm so incredibly glad I took her advice. I took 2 of my computers to Art so he could fix them. They both were running extremely slow and had viruses to a point that rendered both computers non-functional. Art was able to fix both computers to perfectly working conditions, like brand new. His service is extremely fast with a very reasonable price! Fast service and great price for replacing DC jack. Half of what I was quoted by another place. Art did not have the part for my laptop, but ordered it for me. Brought it in Friday afternoon, and got a text message Saturday morning telling me my laptop was ready for pickup. The only thing is terrible parking at the the tiny shopping center. The guy at the discount store downstairs watches "his" parking spots like a hawk. The two spots that are for all the businesses in the shopping center were taken both times I went there (to drop off and pick up my laptop). I suggest finding a parking spot on the street. Other than that, I recommend Art PC Repair for fixing/replacing your DC jack. I'm sure he does great for other stuff too. read more

My pc went on the fritz, I did all kinds of reboots, restores and resets to no avail, called other PC repair services and was told it would be a week for them just to evaluate. I took it in to Art on a referral, the next day he told me what was wrong with my computer (a faulty solid state drive), he had a replacement in stock for a good price, the next day my computer was good as new, I picked it up less than 48 hours after I first took it in. Incredibly responsive and quick turnaround time. Initially, I took my Mac to Apple which told me it would take 3-4 days to fix and cost $150. I emailed Art on a Sunday who responded within the hour and told me to bring it in Monday (as he isn't open Sunday). I brought it in Monday morning and it was fixed by 3pm the same day, for significantly less than what Apple was going to charge. He installed an Antivirus system to which he had a recurring subscription for no additional charge, and he also managed to save all of my important documents for school and work.
