Curtis built the PC w/ a case that featured a glass side wall -- so the interior components are visible -- like many fancier gaming rigs.

Owed Curtis and BlissVector a review from a couple years ago -- so here goes! First, let's just say I want to join the chorus of praise for this company and especially Curtis. Second, since this review is overdue, I'm gonna tell the whole story so -- it'll be a little long. ; ) FADE IN: 2021. In the middle of the pandemic my Lenovo desktop's HDD started to fail. It was 8 years old. Time for a new machine. *Small side plug -- I first took my failing HDD to Five Star Recovery in Glendale. Owe them a review as well. They are simply the best when it comes to data recovery. Back to BlissVector. So I'm in the market for a new PC in 2021 and I run straight smack into the Great Chip Shortage. Retail stocks of PC machines are depleted and the manufacturers are unable to ship many machines to stores or customers. While talking to a Best Buy sales person about my options (which were grim) he mentioned there was this guy who often came in to buy parts because he builds computers. Maybe my best bet was to have a machine built for me. That was my introduction to Curtis and BlissVector. I was a little skeptical at first. But after leaving a message for Curtis he got right back to me and not only said he could definitely build me whatever I was looking for -- he was sincerely excited about the job. We talked a lot about what my needs were. Right upfront the communication was fantastic. I had a budget. But I also wanted the best machine for my money. I wanted to be able to play high-end games over the life of the machine. I don't run an Avid video editor, but I do edit video projects as well as photos and music and I needed a machine that would run editing software and store large projects, call them up, make edits, save and and create playable files and burn DVDs and CDs -- all without any lagging. That meant a great graphics card and multiple data drives. I also had a budget. When I explained to Curtis what I needed and the budget I wanted to stay in, he was very flexible and adaptive to my needs. He was very upfront about costs. I don't like surprises so I asked a lot of questions concerning the money required to create the right machine. Curtis never hid costs, never hesitated to quote prices and in the end the final amount was very close to his initial estimate. Curtis also has great connections when it comes to computer parts. Despite the Great Chip Shortage in 2021, Curtis via his connections was able to get fantastic graphics cards and drives. Curtis suggested a SSD c: boot drive for the OS and I requested two high-capacity HDDs for data storage. ***One important thing I learned from Five Star Recovery is that as awesome as SSD drives are -- the second they get corrupted, the data is usually inaccessible and can't be recovered. While on the other hand HDDs are almost always readable in some form or another. For boot speed -- SSD. For safe data storage -- HDD. I wound up with an Intel(R) Core (TM) i7 10700K 3.80GHz CPU -- NIVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card -- Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB SSD for the c: boot drive -- 2TB HDD primary data drive for back-ups -- and a 4TB HDD secondary data drive for video, music and photo files. The only upfront money I had to pay was for the NIVIDIA graphics card and the Samsung 1TB SSD -- which was perfectly fine as I wanted to make sure Curtis could go out and snag those key parts in a very barren marketplace. Once Curtis had all the parts needed to create the rig -- the build happened within a week! I picked it up, brought it home, plugged in my new displays and peripherals and it ran instantly and perfectly like a Swiss watch. *One of the great benefits of having a PC custom built is you'll get a clean install of your OS and none of the bloatware and junkware (and frankly a lot of annoying Microsoft and manufacturer satellite software) that comes with the machines built by the likes of Dell, Acer, Lenovo, IBM, Intel, etc. This can often make a HUGE difference in how cleanly and quickly your PC boots and runs. In summation -- Curtis and BlissVector built me my dream machine and did so even staying within my general budget. Curtis always promptly responded to questions and queries. He was actually even more excited than I was about the building of the computer! He had great suggestions and solutions for my computing needs. And -- on top of all that he's a fun, energetic and dedicated person to work with. Two years later the PC is still running flawlessly. So haven't had any major IT problems to go to Curtis with -- but if I do I'm going straight to BlissVector. I feel almost blessed that we have such great company right here in Pasadena.

I paid a deposit for organizers to come over and organize my cables. After a consult and pictures they backed out and referred BlissVector. I called Curtis and he came the same day a few hours later. He was in and out in an hour. $50 extra to travel to Atwater Village from Pasadena. Eeek! But his results and availability made up for it. In home cable management is a pain in my side and I was happy to pay someone to do it.

Bought a pc from a boutique company a year ago and learned that I didn't want to maintain a water loop/reservoir. After the cpu water block sprung a leak and ruined a 3080, I decided enough was enough...original company I bought from put me in touch with the fine people at BlissVector. Figuring out shipping was tricky so we opted to drive 6 hours to drop of my pc. Met Karl, one of the techs, and explained the situation before leaving my pc with him. Karl, Michelle and Curtis kept me up to date regularly with my rebuild. They had some issues getting in packing material and didn't want to freight it without it being 100% secure. Instead, Karl decided to drive 6 hours to bring it to my front door, essentially doing the same drive we did when we dropped it off. I didn't expect them to do this, but was extremely happy that I'd be getting my pc back the following day, hand delivered no less. Karl showed up after a 6 hour drive, got the Pc into my office, plugged everything in and it was up and running. In total it took probably 3-4 weeks to get my pc back after dropping it off, well worth the wait! If you're looking for a quality custom build/rebuild and don't want to do it yourself I highly recommend working with BlissVector.

Highly recommend! Got my MacBook Air screen fixed and was quick and affordable! Thank you so much! I will definitely bring my devices back to BlissVector Tech.

Wow! What a great experience I had with Curtis and BlissVector. I needed to set up wired Internet connections to different rooms and Curtis gave great advice and was super friendly. I was very happy with their customer service and their work ethic. Plus- they guarantee their work and is available to do remote troubleshooting if needed. Highly recommended!

Curtis is AWESOME. super fast communication and supremely professional. I really appreciate how fast he was able to quote my project and come and take care of everything we needed. As a small business, having someone we can count on is extremely important. We only just met, but based on his work today, you can bet I will be referring everyone who needs networking done here, hands down.

Turns out I accidentally mapped out a Ryzen upgrade path, but my mobo only supports Intel. So what started as a two-component swap quickly became a much larger operation: migrating a bunch of components across two chassis to make everything compatible. We only realized this after Sam already arrived. On the spot he pivoted immediately, and executed the whole upgrade AND components migration between both my machines within the tight timeline I'd originally asked for. He wasn't one bit fazed, and no upcharging me on the spot for the extra complexity...just calm, focused problem-solving with a genuinely friendly attitude throughout. I shut off my computer, went to Yelp and was happy to find someone who specializes in Apple/Mac. I then asked my La Canada Flintridge friends and one person endorsed him whole-heartedly. I called Jack and lucky for me he said to come over in a couple of hours. He has a nice, bright office next to his house, not far from the freeway exit for Trader Joe's. He's so easy to work with--smart, personable and clear. He knew exactly what needed to be done. I have a backup service, but having done a backup install before, I knew that would take days. Jack took care of everything and had my laptop back to me that same day. There is nothing like the security of knowing your computer is only in the hands of one trustworthy person instead of sitting in a backroom, handed off to someone you've never spoken to. Also, Jack is an authorized Apple tech and his fees are fair. He also helped me choose the right router (I was about to buy something I would have regretted). I have told all my Mac friends about him so I thought I should get around to posting here. Two things you should know: 1) Be sure to call first, he only sees people by appointment and 2) He takes cash and checks, no credit cards. If you have a Mac, this is your guy.

Out of frustration, I was determined not to cheap out and dug into the options. Ubiquiti had a solid reputation for quality and reliability, so I went about finding someone who handled their products. Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I've already shared videos and stills with the neighborhood (as we are having coyote issues), and it was so quick and easy to do. A+++ experience all around! Thank you so much, David!
