Walked in because there was a issue with the camera on my phone. Van approached me. Looked at me and my phone and i mean looked. The interaction was about 30 seconds He told me nothing could be done. He had very unprofessional tone and even gave me a look like I was wasting his time. I told him I had insurance and he just brushed it off. Planning on buying 2 brand new phones today, but when we arrived there were 2 customers waiting and 1 customer with an associate. We were never acknowledged, even after 15 minutes. Finally another associate came out and walk straight to a person that just walked in. We were in the store over 20 minutes with not even a "hello", or a "just a minute." Finally someone comes to help us and after I gave him my number for the system, he jumped up and said it was time for his lunch break, leaving us with no help again. There were 5 employees. Four guys and one lady or girl. I was just getting assistance on starting a new service the girl is the one that helped me or talk to with me didn't help me that was very rude racist and prejudice telling me how they don't have a prepaid economical plan. And I never asked for prepaid or economical plan I have to have my phone service put on my phone. And I got to myself wow that was really prejudiced. Everything about her demeanor was just really rude towards me as if she didn't want to help me she thought I couldn't afford it or whatever. And then she looks at my phone because tell me that my phone was reported lost or stolen and it's treating me like I had a stolen device when I know for a fact it's my phone is not stolen. So instead of being upset I just walked out make a phone call to find out why she said my phone was lost or stolen. And just like I had told her before I gave her my phone that my ex-girlfriend at turn my phone off with the phone but I own the phone from a previous service with Verizon. I just walked out and went to Verizon and went got my service through them. I think it's really sad that now after we've been through so much as humans people still have so much hate in them being prejudice and racist like that so sad and ignorant. I don't understand why T-Mobile would have someone like that working for them I'll never go back in the store again and don't recommend anyone. I was working with Van and it honestly felt like he just didn't want to try and help. I came in to return my phones and get a new screen protector since it cracked already. Their insurance was supposed cover my screen protector and he said their system couldn't pull it up so I had to buy a new one or go to another store. After waiting 1 hour for help he wanted me to drive 25 minutes further. For the phone returns he wouldn't take my wife's phone because a software updates failed as it was erasing itself. I talked with Tmobile on the phone and trouble shot it and they said to just bring it in and they'll take it. Van once again dismissed this and said I had to go to Apple in order to get it fixed. I ended up leaving frustrated and went to the Rosemead Tmobile store. What crazy different experience. Not only were they apologetic for these issues they immediately fixed my screen protector and immediately returned the phones. I was there for less time than I was waiting at this location only to be dismissed once helped. TLDR; save your time and frustrations, don't go to this store go to the Rosemead Tmobile. read more

I went to T-mobile last week to get a new phone. Van helped me and he was pleasant and polite. The store was empty and I was served immediately. I went back today to get all the data from my old phone loaded onto the new one, which came in the mail, and the store was much busier. I had to wait about 30 minutes to get service but again everyone was polite and helpful. I have no complaints. read more

Coming into the store here is like visiting a foreign country notorious for s-l-o-w bureaucracy. You have to sign in and wait. They are understaffed for the number of customers. But the employees intentionally drag their feet. It's like they are moving in ultra slow motion. Painstakingly taking their time to ensure you wait an inordinately long time. Staring at their computers or hanging in the back. Except for one guy who appears to be behaving like he should. Be prepared to WAIT. A higher up needs to crack the whip on these guys. read more

Ian was extremely helpful and patient with upgrading and trading in an iPhone. He was very knowledgable on the ever changing process on how to upgrade and transfer data for Apple products. Although we spent more time than typically necessary for an iPhone upgrade, Ian helped me through every hurdle and got me the new phone setup on the same day which was awesome. Came in simply to turn in a device for trade in after first making extra sure that I could by speaking to an agent over the phone, an agent over online chat, and reading the trade in policies online just to be told by this location "they don't do that in store." I never thought that I would be writing a positive review about a cell phone store! My sister wanted to sign up for T-mobile home internet at this store since it was close and had plenty of parking. The staff was friendly and efficient, and answered our questions. They quickly brought out the modem, configured it using an app for our phone, and we were able to test the WiFi from the modem to our phone while still in the store. After we brought the modem home, we plugged in the power cord and began using it immediately. She has been getting download speeds of 140-240 Mbps in Pasadena which is more than she needs. read more

Just left this store and won't be returning. The employee was impatient, extremely fidgety, condescending, and not helpful to me while trying to solve a contradictory issue between my earlier messaging with customer service and the store location. I didn't feel welcomed at all, and he kept condescendingly repeating himself or wordlessly turning around his screen to show me details when I was asking separate questions he had yet to answer. I was tired of high prices for phone service and internet. Old Comm Service company could not even help me to have faster internet service. Switching to T-Mobile saved me money and was fun to go on to a new comm service. The initial call start up to T-Mobile service over the phone was terrific as was the T-Mobile cust care phone service. This company is so annoying. They bought out sprint and can't even maintain their service. The policy change everyday. I apparently can't get help anywhere now because sprint isn't with them now. They gave no heads up. I'm stuck with a broken phone until I can figure out where to get assistance. I apparently have to wait until the 30th until they can learn how to handle the sprint customers. T-mobile is giving out some wonderful deals lately, so the phones and upgraded network service basically sells itself. My experience at this particular retail store was mostly positive upon two visits here, and I wound up purchasing an iPhone 6 and paying off my existing carrier contract. So that was pretty great. Again, everything here was straightforward until my first months bill from T-mobile. At some point (can you say commission haha) premium phone protection and upgraded data was thrown in for an additional $16.50. Not a huge deal, but the customer service person and I had a good laugh at all the 'throw-ins' you will find unexpectedly when you sign up in the store. Jorge Gurrola is the most patient caring and helpful Tmobile customer service person . We are so lucky to have walked into the Hastings Ranch store when he was working! My poor Tio lost his iPhone 7 on the bus yesterday and we had no idea how to log back into the iCloud. This genius Jorge was diligent and resourceful. My Tio is 73 so you can imagine how frustrated he was with all the password protections and having to recall everything. I walked in here thinking that I was set on my wants and needs. Then playing with each phone made me unsure. Stephanie was very helpful. She stepped in when George was busy. She gave me her personal opinion. Stephanie drafted a detail monthly break down expense on my current plan and one if I was to get on a new plan. I liked that she was friendly and was detailed. Although at times it got a bit confusing, but that's not really her fault it's the tmobile plan and fees. So far I'm pretty happy with her recommendation. huge store. the stuff out on display are all the fake stuff but they will and can show you the real ones. you will be able to play around with it. some of the phones have sims and a plan so you can check out the internet but some dont. when she was helping us, she would often also greet individuals who walked in. when we left one of the staff even opened our door for us. great customer service! tip: plenty of parking since it's near ralphs, baskin robbins, golfsmith, jamba juice, etc. read more

Very happy with the deal I got and more than pleased with the service T-Mobile provides. Paula even perfectly installed a screen protector on my phone after I told her that I had never managed to do it right on other phones I'd owned. I've been in this store many times, but the past two times was really unpleasant. An employee name goes by Van is really unprofessional. First time, he swiped through my credit card with a hand held card reader, and told me that my credit card won't go through. So, I thought there might be something wrong with my credit card that day. After my lunch hour, I went back to attempt to make a payment with another employee of this store. My credit card was ran through a mounted POS system and my payment went through successfully. It really made me wonder why Van didn't do that at the first time in processing my payment. I really have a lot of doubts on the legitimacy of that card reader that Van was running my credit card through and I had to call my credit card company to replace my card. Second time, when I try to make my payment at this location, I tried to avoid Van... but he still somehow got me upset. As the other associate was processing my payment, Van came in and disrupted the payment process by sharing a joke on his cellphone to the associate that was helping me.
