My 70+ mother went to this Tmobile location to port her number from AT&T to Tmobile and had a terrible experience. If I could give zero stars I would. As I was unable to go with her because I am in the middle of a move, I sent her there with her Tmobile SIM card because I was under the impression it would be a seamless transfer since Ive already set the accounts up. It was not. The reps there (specifically Stela and Chen) were rude, terribly unhelpful and honestly in my mom's words "a b****" Mind you, she has only ever used that word probably 3x in her life. They stressed my elderly mom out. I was placed on the phone with Stella and not only was she rude, she basically accused me of being a bad daughter for not being there with my mom and since she's been there, she's had to use her inhaler twice??? I think ya'll stressing her out, not me. I ended up having to call Tmobile customer service and they wondered why the people in store were not handling it. So i am in the middle of a life transition while on the phone with the rep and texting my mom while she's stuck in the store. All they care about is opening new lines (commission) and not actually the customer service part of their job. Mind you, this is my first impression of the in store reps. Don't bother coming to this location. The Pasadena location was much more helpful and kind. If I could report this entire thing to their corporate office I would. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at the Arcadia T-Mobile store. I went in fully intending to purchase a brand new phone and expected the staff to help me complete the sale. Instead, the employee assisting us told us to go to Costco because we could supposedly "save money" there. I was shocked that a T-Mobile employee would send paying customers to another retailer rather than trying to make the sale in their own store. If customers are ready to spend money, employees should be focused on providing good service and helping them find the best option within the store, not directing them elsewhere. It makes no sense for T-Mobile to lose sales because of advice like this. The employee seemed completely uninterested in doing her job, and it left us feeling like our business was not valued. Management should seriously address this kind of behavior, because it reflects poorly on the store and the T-Mobile brand as a whole. That lady who told us to go to costco, her job should be in jeopardy. You guys are losing sales because of her by the way. I came here to try out the 5G internet since AT&T does not offer a trail and you must buy the equipment yourself ($200). Luckily T-Mobile has the 14 day free trail with the equipment included. The workers were helpful and nice. I was out of there in under 30 minutes. Overall the internet was good but not for my needs since i'm a gamer and need low latency. If you surf the web and watch videos this would be perfect for you since you can set it up in literally minutes. I was getting around 200-350mbps download speed & 20-40mbps upload speed. The drawback was the upload latency which sat around 80-200. My ping was good at 12-20 but wasn't for me since i play online games. I returned it with no hassle and will need to call Tmobile support to cancel it online which i will do soon. read more

Was in to ask a very simple question regarding a trade in. The nan at the front took down my name and number and said an associate would help. There were 2 associates and one finished with another customer shortly after I arrived but instead of helping me she hurried to the back. After she came back out (middle age Chinese lady) she went to chit chat with another associate who was already helping another customer. The person who took down my name and number proceeded to sweep the floor. I decided to leave after 10 minutes without any kind of assistance for my yes or no question. Been a Verizon customer for so long, and today I decided to transfer over to T-Mobile. I had the absolute worst experience at the location on Foothill Blvd. yesterday and almost decided not to push through. However, this location in the mall made salvaged that. Because of my experience here I will be a TMobile customer moving forward. The Manager Raul and the representative Stela that helped me was exactly what I think customer service is. I went to T-mobile at Huntington Dr. Since it's the highest google review score, but I was kicked out by them. They refused to order phones for me since I want a trade-in, not activate the sims cards I brought there. Then I went to Westfield Santa Anita, it looks the t-mobile had moved their shop from the first floor to the second. Cindy helped me solved all the issues. A thumb hp for Cindy. A little backstory, my Mom suffered a stroke a couple of years ago and her doctor recommended she get an Apple Watch due to her fall risk. We were at the Santa Anita mall and decided to see if we could get some advice. The T-Mobile salesperson, Mikey listened with the patience of a Saint as we explained my Mom's situation and needs. He provided an amazing solution given her medical needs, her budget and her abilities. He treated her like she was family. I haven't had that kind of service anywhere for a long time and was very grateful. I don't live close to my Mom and worry about her safety. Stela, was so helpful in switching me over from Sprint to T-MOBILE. As promised i would b saving money and for the plan i chose i would receive 2 complementary screens of NETFLIX at no charge. She was eager to help and assured me it was going to be an issue. Since i had already one existing profile with Netflix she would "click'' the basic profile first. Then instructed me to go setup the second profile when i got home. Then follow instructions from her emailed link. After i completed the second profile then all i had to do was see her or call in and i would get the second profile for free . Well guess what here i am ... called the location Stella is out, and chatted for a few hours with two associates on customer service line to help only to assure me i would have to pay 5 dollars extra for the extra Netflix profile! I confirmed with Stela that my second line would b complementary and that would be part of the promo and she said yes and even showed me on the IPaD and here i am going back and forth with nothing and now will be paying an extra 5 dollars. DECEPTIVE DECEPTIVE!!! Definitely a Bait and Switch tactic! T-MOBILE could not do anything to honor what was advertised and shown to me! He is absolutely so patient. I rarely post reviews about places or people. But if there's really something good to say or bad then I will say it. My family and I had to do some complicated changes with our lines, such that we had to add more people, keep certain numbers and look for a good plan that benefits us. And he was there working with us the whole way. The process to do all that took a while but he is so nice, friendly and helpful. Came in to the T-mobile store today because my phone has been giving me problems and the phone representative said the store would replace the sim card and hopefully my errors will be gone. After waiting for two families to leave with their phone purchases, the rep who helped me also brought out a media card for me to test on my phone since my pictures were coming out distorted half the time. As I was going to return the 8gb card to her, she let me keep it in hopes of my phone not malfunctioning like it has been recently. Joshua Marquez (or Martinez, whatever) is a turd of a salesman. He tried to offer us "free" items, lower our bill etc. We spent hours going back and forth because we were mainly against it but he kept trying his pitch on us. At the end of it all, we decided against the extra items we didnt need. He was extremely upset and straight up told us "you wasted 2.5 hours of my time" , "I stayed late for this but I HAVE to continue the sale because of customer service". His attitude changed after he realized he didnt get the sale. He was short in his responses, rude, snickered to other salesmen in front of us, acted child like. We should have walked out. First of all, that's part of sales... sometimes you get it and sometimes you dont. Ask a car salesman, they "waste" HOURS on clients. You shouldn't guilt trip a customer. You shouldnt change your attitude and be a complete rude prick. If you suck at your job, or it's not in the best interest of the customer, dont take it personal especially if there were plenty of signs that we werent interested in the "free" stuff. read more

This review is for the staff manning the kiosk between Abercrombie & Fitch and Pacsun. At opening time, I happened to walk through this area, and the lady opening at Pacsun saw the crowd at A&F, and asked the T-mobile guy why there's a line and if there was a sale. The guy blew up in a rage and ranted loudly that "There's no sale! They're just tourists coming here and taking pictures of the clothes!" and I'm sure he said more racist things about stuff that wasn't his business but I did not stay long. Bad representation of T-mobile if the staff members openly criticize mall patrons and offend potential customers. Let's hope the A&F staff isn't this racist, since they're the ones getting business from these "tourists"! read more

My search for a new iPhone and wanting to switch from Boost mobile, led me to exploring a couple of carrier companies. I was surprised at some of the information provided by some sales reps and their attempt to sell me some pretty crazy stuff. Things changed for me when I visited T-Mobile in the Santa Anita mall. I went in to explore options. Given my previous experiences with other vendors, I unfortunately was expecting poor service. Fortunately, that was not the case. I was lucky enough to have Juan approach me and ask if he could be of assistance. So glad, I said yes. From that moment on everything went up hill for me. I shared what I was searching for with Juan. To my delight, he provided me with a number of options, which he wrote down and reviewed with me in detail. I asked him about a hundred questions, and he answered them all. He was very professional and friendly, and I knew when I left the store, I wanted to do business with Juan and T-Mobile. I purchased my phone, and took it to Juan for transfer and set up assistance. This should have been a fast visit. Unfortunately, we encountered issues with Boost Mobile customer phone services. We repeatedly had to listen to lengthy voice mail messages to even get to the customer service option. Several times, we ended up being redirected back to the start of the process. On the few occasions it appeared customer service answered the phone, no one said anything. I honestly started wondering if the customer service number was a scam. Juan really helped me to stay calm. Eventually, we were able to connect with customer service, but had to do so online. Once we obtained the required account information to switch services, things move quickly. Juan successfully had me up and running in no time, and also provided me with an overview on how to utilize the phone. I left the store with my new phone and with gratitude for the services I received. I am not tech savvy, so this type of stellar customer service means a lot to me.
