I visited this t-mobile store today and let me tell you about my experience. I was so happy I had the opportunity to meet with Jeff. He was so helpful. I wanted to get t-mobile home internet and I wanted to get the service from the store so Jeff was so kind he tried everything to do that for me. Unfortunately, since the program is so new we were not able to do at the store so he called the costumer service and he went through the process with me. I would say my visitor took about 2 hr and the whole time Jeff was there and he was assisting me and answering all questions. Thank you Jeff for your help. read more

Came here with my boyfriend on the 26th in hopes to get a new phone since my Jump was ending for my g5, and was helped by Evelie, Evelia? I don't know and I don't really care. We both ended up getting the s8 and she offered us 2 accessories each since "it came with the phone." And we see our bill, it goes from $120 a month to $200 a month since the case and screen protector supposedly came with it. Why do these people scam others? Lesson learned.. read more

I've been a Sprint customer for 19 years and NEVER had a problem when I called customer service. Now T Mobile has moved customer service out of the US and I spent 2 hours being hung up on, not having questions answered and not understanding reps. The ONLY reason I am still a customer is the staff at the Santa Anita store. Carlos, Kimberly, Andrew and Steven went over and beyond to assist me. My story has a happy ending I promise. Hearing all the news around T-mobile's "uncarrier" offerings and I was excited yet cautiously optimistic about switching to T-mobile. After using the phone in their test drive program I was sold with their strong data, many freebies and low price. I walked into the T-Mobile store on 3629 E Foothill Blvd and into a nightmare. T-mobile online was running a sale for free sim cards. Previous to arriving, I called around to a few stores including T-mobile's customer care and they said they would be able to match the offer in store. I get to the store and the store manager was frantic, had a long list of people waiting. After an hour in store past closing time, I walked away from the store empty handed because the manager would not match the deal without forcing us to purchase accessories. I am very fortunate for the associate that night who recommended that I walk away and purchase the deal online. Little did I know, I was walking into pitfall #2. That night, I called customer care to order the phones and sim cards. I had the hardest time understanding the individual over the phone but ended the call with what I thought was a completed and done order. A conclusion to a rocky experience. I received my shipment within 3 days which was very impressive, but only to find out that none of the phones or sim cards have been activated. The customer care representative on the phone told me that as additional security precaution I needed to visit a T-mobile store in order to verify that I was who I said I was to activate the phone, despite already given my SSN. As I was on hold to speak to a supervisor, I was frantically looking online for any T-mobile store still open for the evening and I stumbled on this T-Mobile store in the Santa Anita Mall. I walked in with customer care still on hold. I laid out my entire story to Jenifer the associate on site. I felt so bad for dumping 4 sim cards, 2 new phones, 2 trade in phones and 2 numbers to be ported on her minutes before the store closed for the night. But she handled it like a champ. Within minutes she worked with the manger to identify and resolve the problems so I was able to walk away with phones that worked with our previous numbers and credit in my account for the trade-ins. I was so gracious, that all my frustrations from my previous experience almost seem to be forgotten. I hope that this message goes a long way in showing the impact a few individuals can have on building a positive experience. In the future I will be exclusively visiting the T-mobile retail store and looking for the friendly familiar faces that give me hope for this new up and coming carrier. read more

I typed a review earlier but then after submitting, Yelp gave me an error and my review disappeared. So - long story short: They told me they were going to port my number over. I gave them my information. 48 hours later, nothing happened. I talked to an online T-Mobile CSR and she said there was no request made for my number to be ported. I gave her my information. She gave me a reference number of the request. 3 hours later, my number was ported. 2 stars for T-Mobile at this location for not sending in the request to port my number over despite trying to be helpful. read more

Not a trustworthy store. Tried to rip me off when I inquired about their plans & wouldn't let me bring home the quote he wrote for me on the paper. Perhaps It's because I'm a female, but that's not a valid excuse. Minutes after my inquiry, I asked my husband about it (who was at a diff. store at the mall during that time) and he shook his head and was shocked at the info the sales person gave me. I walked in to this T-Mobile store to pay my bill and then to my surprise my bill was $50 higher than expected. I understand that this may have been a slight understanding due to something that was changed; however, the cashier that serviced me was very mean to me and was like there is nothing you can do and your total will remain $50 above your expected amount. I then talked to the manager and he continued to insist that there was nothing that he could do. When I got home I called customer service and explained my problem to them. They apologized for the events that occurred and actually stated it was a problem on their end and gave me a kind discount. I was surprised in the amount of knowledge that the T-mobile employees including the manager had. read more

I love this store this is one of the most professional stores I've ever been to. Staff is friendly and very helpful they deserve a raise. I've had T Mobile for more than 10 years and never had a problem. I know at this time there's an issue with the network but don't give up t don't forget all the years you've been with them. The worst service. I already made an appointment, and I still needed to wait for them setting up the customers coming after me. I felt like I was invisible in the store until they were getting busy and noticed me. The staff was not trained well to explain to me regarding the basic question. I came here to upgrade my iPhone 7s plus, as well as two other phones. As soon as I walked in I saw three guys, one on the phone arguing with someone about a prepaid to contract or something like that and two other guys on their phone. I wasn't greeted as I walked in and finally one guy (Hispanic) asked if we needed help. It was like pulling teeth to get help, I give him the info he asks for and inquire about the jump program. Not only was he rude but it seemed like we're bothering him by asking questions, it was only us in the store. Everyone working that shift either need retraining or they need find a new job. I've been purchasing my iPhones here for YEARS and I've never left empty handed until today, I'm going to a different location tomorrow to pick up the three iPhone X' that we need. As I figured would happen, the last guy I talked to at T-Mobile, "Steven" (definitely not his real name), not only lied to me, but he wrote down lies that never happened. I went in to the Duarte, CA store, and told him Steven told me to go there. The guy at the store was very nice, but he couldn't fix anything, especially since they already sent it to collections. Steven actually wrote in my account that UPS told him they never received the phones I sent back to them, which is 100% untrue. I kept the records of it. I also took video of me packing and shipping the phones because I knew T-MOBILE would LIE about getting them. So anyway, more lies and deception from T-Mobile. At this point, we're taking them to court, and every person that lied to me is getting subpoenaed too. T-MOBILE IS 100% CORRUPT AND THEY ARE GOING TO PAY FOR IT. They could have simply not tired to rip us off, but they chose the hard way. Most decent people in America are sick and tired of corruption, and I'm sure the court will be on our side. And I'll be notifying every news agency that will listen. The court of public opinion will not be happy with T-Mobile either. read more

We came in on a Sunday for phones and was told with confidence that they would come in on Thursday, "Friday at the latest". Turns out they won't be arriving until almost a week later! We went to get T-Mobile's buy one get one free iPhone 8 last week. Joshua Marquez helped us transfer all the data from the old phones to the new phones. He was very patient when the data did not transfer properly. There was also some system problem that he had to call T-Mobile on the phone to get our account set up. I was on a cruise for 3 days and had to make 2 calls home. One was for 25 min, and the other was 37 min. T-mobile billed me $403 plus tax! When I called and spoke to a rep, I was told that it cost $5.99 per min. That's outrageous price! I was expecting at most $.99 per min for international roaming, but nothing like this. An alert appeared on my phone at the time I made these calls that my phone was roaming, but didn't mention price. Had I known at the time that I would be charged $5.99 per min, I would've kept my calls short or not made these calls at all. After 30 min and 3 reps later, they offered to take $150 off my bill. That's still $250 for 62 min! I don't know what choices I have but to pay this bill, or let it go into default and affects my credit. This is basically extortion. I've been a T-mobile customer for many years, and have told everyone I know how much I like their rates and customer service. Never again. Beware! They lure you in with their low monthly rates and no contract, but just be careful of hidden charges. read more

I came into this T-mobile store a couple of nights ago to ask 1 little question. All i can say is this location has the shittiest ass customer service ever. I walked in & there were 4 employees 2 on each side of the store all at the register, not 1 single person acknowledged me or anything lets start with that. I came up to one of the guys and he could care less what i was asking, like i was bothering him, whatever he was doing on the computer must have been more important because he was glued to that screen. I wanted to get a 2nd phone but since they dont give a crap i walked out. So if you want some f...up customer service with employees who dont care then come here they will give it to you. Found a pretty much shattered phone on the street. By the type of phone I saw online it belonged to T-Mobile. I called this location and the customer service rep was able to tell me based on the description of the chip that it in fact was a metro phone. This was super helpful since I really wanted to try and return it to its owner in case it had important info on it. read more

An employee here was trying to scam me on "phone insurance" and "cheap accessories." I went in to buy the Samsung S8+ when it first came out and he said that the phone came with a mandatory insurance plan for the phone and that I would have to contact T-Mobile after the sale to get it refunded. I said that T-Mobile's website didn't show this and I said I would just get it online. The employee then said "Let me see what I can do. Ok I was able to get it waived." I thought it was mandatory? The employee then mentioned that my phone came with a case and screen protector. I asked if it would cost me anything (I had to clarify since he said it came with the phone). He said "Only $5." At that point I said no because it was not "only $5." It was $5 per month for 24 months. Would not come here again. I don't mind employees trying to sell me things but lying to me about everything being mandatory or outright lying about the price ("only $5") is the reason why everyone is buying everything online now. Who wants to deal with these types of shady sales tactics when you're already wasting time physically going to the store. Let's not forget that buying phones in T-Mobile's stores already costs me $20 for "upgrade fees." Ordering online and selecting that you are an existing customer gets this waived. I know how to change SIM cards and get my account set up on my new phone. It's not like smartphones came out yesterday and I need help restoring my contacts. All that is online and automatically synced as soon as I log in. I'm essentially paying someone $20 to scam me. read more

The manager told me that we can only use 1 of the $25 cards at one time because they have fraudulent activity. I went in with my wife and newborn and was accused of fraud.. Anyways I left. The T-Mobile on Rosemead and Huntington honored my cards. They found it strange that Arcadia wouldn't take them. Corporate I would send in a secret shopper on this branch because that is not the way T-Mobile does business I'm sure. read more

I recently traded my iPhone 4 for an iPhone 5 and had the most horrible experience ever! I asked the associate more than 5 times if my voice mails would be fine and she assured me over and over that they would still be there on my new phone because it is satellite. I checked my voice mail and ALL my voice mails are gone INCLUDING THE LAST VOICE MAIL EVER FROM SISTER (WHO PASSED AWAY IN MARCH) SINGING ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY & TELLING ME SHE LOVES ME! Turns out the associate cleared my entire voice mailbox and also didn't give me my SIM card back so pictures were also lost. So saddened by the lack of knowledge the workers have. read more
