My phone svc was turned off had to go to store 3 times and have it reactivated. After couple of days received notice I owed pymt. My daughter pays our phones yet, her svc never interrupted. They created a new acct for me. Left hers intact. Charged us both new activation fees, pd her bill.charged me separately. Went back to ATT and got Chris who was supposed to help us sort this mess out. First of all he was totally not interested in helping us. Just sat there like a bump on a log. If he were my son, I honestly would've scolded him. Like one of those zoned out gamers. Told us Mac, the mgr. Was at lunch and then would be at West Covina store. We were getting no where with this lazy guy. Went to West Covina store. In just the first minutes with the salesperson we had issue sorted out. We left with service straightened out, my discount. Hot spot, 2 new phones and insurance on all four. Satisfied customers and commission earned by our salesperson. They have always been very helpful with a pleasant attitude, even when a customer is having a bad day , they are very understanding and cooperative. And basically helped me with everything even setting it up. lol . It is sincerely appreciated. I've been here for a few months and I'm always greeted pleasant with a pleasant attitude and smile from both Angie and Breanna. I told her "oh sorry about that" she replied with a tone saying "it's fine". The vibe I got from her was extremely negative. It did seem like she was some type of manager, the way she was working trying to get something done and not giving customer service. I work in customer service as a store manager, that type of customer service will scare away customers, and is a huge No no for me. I would rather go to the store with less shoes. The only person that greeted and gave great customer service was the cashier.

I was having problems with my iPhone 14 and…read moreneeded a replacement, and since Verizon had been advertising free upgrades, I thought it would be easier to go there rather than the Apple Store where I usually purchase my devices. While purchasing my phone, I also asked James whether my plan qualified for an upgrade to my wife's iPad Pro. He confirmed that it did, but said the store did not have any in stock and would need to order it. He told me it should arrive around the beginning of March. When the beginning of March passed without any update, I stopped by the store on my way home from work. There were no employees on the floor, and Carlos eventually came out from the back. When I told him I was there to pick up the iPad, he was unable to find any record of an order under my name or phone number. After calling employees who were not in the store, he informed me the order had been cancelled. I never cancelled it, and he claimed no one at the store had cancelled it either. He couldn't explain who did. While he was on the phone, I overheard him say that because it had been two weeks since I traded in my old phone, there were no longer any promotions available for the iPad. He then told me I could get a lower‑tier iPad for free, but upgrading to the iPad Pro--exactly what I had ordered--would now cost $1,000. That was unacceptable to me, especially since the order was placed during the promotional period and I had clearly stated I was upgrading my wife's iPad Pro. I asked Carlos for the manager's business card so I could follow up, but he refused and said I could only speak with the manager when he was physically in the store. When I asked for the store's phone number, he pointed to a Post‑it note on the phone, and his expression made it clear he found the situation amusing. This store is poorly managed, and the staff appear to be inadequately trained. I will not be returning except to complete my phone return. They have lost my business.
