The problem was that the disc trays would not open nor play discs. I was quoted a price to make the unit work and I agreed to the charges. The owner didn't mention a parts/labor breakdown, just the final cost. The owner told me I wouldn't pay if it didn't work. about 3 weeks later, the recorder was ready and i picked it up. I couldn't test the unit onsite nor did I have reason to doubt the work performed so I paid. It has been nearly 2 months later and at least 4 trips back to the store only to hear that he didn't diagnose the problem right originally and I now have to pay for parts in order for him to proceed. When I asked for a refund for what I paid so far, he denied and said he doesn't refund labor charges. On several occasions, he simply forgot to call me back for updates along the way. The CD recorder's second tray is the one that won't record, won't recognize audio blank cdr, nor play regular cds. He still has the recorder. As far as I'm concerned, the job is half done because he did repair the trays from opening but the record-side doesn't play nor record. I am out of options seeing as how my cd recorder is still at his shop and he won't continue work unless I pay more. I understand these are obsolete components but the misdiagnosis after i had already paid and he won't refund the money, left me feeling ripped off. I hope future customers have better luck. For what it's worth, the owner and staff are friendly.

I'm giving this 3 stars because I got a CPU Fan error after 7 years, and the original 16 GB of RAM failed after 24 months. All CyberPowerPC users should be aware that the RAM might break before the PC does. And you might need to take it to a professional or DIY the RAM swap when it is time. And also expect your boot drive to stop working after 5 - 6 years of gaming usage.

Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. After approximately seven months, a RAM stick failed and the computer began randomly crashing. When I contacted warranty support, I was told I would have to pay to ship the RAM myself or accept an authorization hold of more than $900 for a replacement, with the possibility of being charged if the RAM was damaged during shipping. I ultimately sent the entire PC in for repair. It came back with the original issues unresolved and additional problems. It still recognizes only 32 GB of the 64 GB installed, the graphics card isn't registering in Task Manager, and the GPU produces no display through DisplayPort. Two fans have lost their RGB lighting, and the case was returned with damage that prevents the glass panel from closing properly. I have photos and videos documenting the condition of the computer when it was returned. I requested a refund, but CyberPowerPC refused and offered another repair instead. After already going through their warranty process once and receiving the computer back in worse condition, I have no confidence that another repair will solve the problem. This computer is used for work, school, and personal use, so the repeated downtime has been extremely disruptive. Spending more than $3,000 plus additional money for a premium warranty should come with a much better experience. I am very disappointed with both the reliability of the system and the warranty process.
