    A quiet weekday at target

    I spent an abhorrent amount of time without anyone helping or acknowledging my existence in the electronic section. Considering it was a quiet day in a store with not much guest foot traffic on a weekday afternoon. I pressed all three help buttons in the back of the store and had employees walk past me with me waving at them saying hi and literally getting no response as they walk full speed away from me in their target uniform. I stuck my head in the back room behind electronics because I saw people running back there and talking and literally yelled please can I get some help and continue to wait with absolutely no response after 10 then 20 and 25 minutes. I used to work in the Internet so I know what is acceptable and what isn't and having more than eight employees actively ignore somebody who's saying hey can you help me directly looking at them within a 6 foot distance is not quite right. Maybe I'm a ghost lol After half an hour of trying to talk to people who would actively ignore me, I gave up not being able to buy what I needed that was locked away in a cabinet. No find the extra thing I was looking for I was only able to get one thing at this entire store leaving me to have to pick up what I needed at another store. I actually felt nauseous and sick leaving the store in tears

    Well stocked, organized Target. A bigger location than most locations near me. Convenient if I'm in this part of West Covina.

    It was great. We came in to find thousands of stuff. We found snacks which we brought. There is also a Starbucks inside!

After being in the store for about 15 minutes, we were greeted by another gentleman named, Beto Toribio who kindly gave us the quote with and without the 5-year warranty. For another $229 you have a warranty good for 5 years in case the patio set breaks or the cushions tear! So, we definitely had to get it. Thank you Beto for your kindness, patience, and mindfulness during the whole experience. It is very rare you come across salespeople like Beto who kindly walks you through the whole process. When she and my sister-in-law tried to file a claim for crappy furniture and workmanship they were told that the "plan" doesn't cover slipping of cushions before the furniture was even inspected. This was 15 months after delivery, so February of 2025. We Have been trying to get them to come back out because it's not an issue of a slipped cushion, but rather shoddy workmanship and subpar furniture, not worth the $2500 price tag. We have been dealing directly with the store manager who said he would help escalate and had done nothing until January 2026. He assisted getting us in touch with a liaison for their FCP yet nothing, so we went back on 2/16/26 and spoke with the store manager again who set us up with Alyssa in customer service there at the store. We had to go through the whole story and timeline once again. Meanwhile, the store manager says it would be easiest to just "swap out the piece, but too bad we don't have it any longer". Why in the hell was that not offered at the beginning? They string you along for months and months then deny the claim. Elder abuse at work here, easy prey. They see and elderly woman and tell her that the "insurance plan" covers "everything" and get her on the hook for $290 plus the price of crappy furniture. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM JEROME'S!!!

Now they are pretending otherwise. I will be taking this matter to small claims court. Avoid this company at all costs. We called customer service and they agreed to send us a replacement tabletop. The second tabletop still had issues. This time, the wood had a distinctly distressed look, which isn't evident in their online stock photos and wasn't found on the first tabletop. There were odd splotches of white ingrained in the wood across various patches of the tabletop. There was no consistency in the white splotches. It made the tabletop look very worn, when it should have been brand new. We contacted the customer service line again to see what they could do to resolve the situation. They refused to provide a discount, claiming this was just a natural part of the wood and that there were no defects. We completely disagree. They said we could swap for a 3rd tabletop due to "preference" but would be charged another delivery fee. Why should we have to pay a delivery fee for what could very well be another problematic tabletop? No thank you. We're done spending money on worn out furniture. My household was hoping to furnish our home with more items. From this awful experience, no future furniture will be coming from Living Spaces. Over an $800 tabletop, Living Spaces has lost themselves a return customer. We will be discouraging friends and family from purchasing from Living spaces. For those reading, you are better off going somewhere else for your furniture needs. Living Spaces' poor quality and even poorer phone customer service aren't worth the headache. TLDR: Don't bother with Living Spaces. Poor quality and poor customer service.
