What a gem of a store! Alot of the stuff I saw, I recognized from Target. The "room essentials", "threshold" and "a new day" brands were all here and were at an incredible sale price. From heels to purses to storage bins, this may become my favorite budget friendly store. The kids clothes also cat and jack brand, Melissa and Doug toys. I walked out with a few incredible finds at a fraction of the cost. FYI - Halloween items 50% off.

Unprofessional and hostile experience at entrance - July 25, 2026…read moreOn July 25, 2026 at approximately 3:34 PM, I visited The Outlet By E.L.S. for the first time with my kids. At the entrance, the security guard shouted at me in a loud, commanding voice asking, "What's in your bag?" I was carrying a regular-sized white tote bag with only my wallet and phone inside. I was startled and did not understand what I had done wrong upon entering, so I offered to leave the bag in my car. The guard then told me I could carry it in, but would have to show it again before leaving the store. His tone was hostile and created an embarrassing situation, as other customers in the store turned to look at us. I felt singled out and profiled as a potential shoplifter, possibly because I was wearing a hat. I was dressed casually in gray pants, a white shirt, and sneakers, which I felt was appropriate for shopping at a discount store. I regularly shop at large retailers like Costco and Sam's Club and have never been questioned about my bag upon entry. When my daughter and her friend spoke to him about the way we were treated, he responded that he was just doing his job and that is just how he is. He said he was sorry I was offended, but reiterated that he was just doing his job. I later spoke with a staff member who did apologize for what happened. I understand and respect the need for security, but there is a professional way to do it without making customers feel accused or unwelcome. A retail business should welcome customers while ensuring safety, not create a hostile shopping environment at the door. I am sharing this feedback so management is aware of how customers are being treated. Based on this experience, I will not be returning.

I did a research on the actual item that was posted on OfferUp by them. I drove about 40 mins to get to this shop. When I got there a different brand was given to me, so I wasted my time, researching a brand that they didn't have. The item was nothing like the picture and it was not new. There's a seal on the box and the seal was broken so it was definitely not "new" as stated on OfferUp. When I ask the guy in the front if he has the item on OfferUp and on their IG page, he in was like "how old is the post?"It doesn't matter because you should remove it if it's sold. Post says there were 6 available and they didn't even have 1. He was trying to sell an item that is not even the same and it's opened box but kept arguing saying it's new. I'm telling him it's not and there's also a seal that's broken. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of the actual item I saw in the store because I didn't think it was going to escalate this far, but I took a similar picture of how the seal kinda looks like. One of the cords was used and not in the original wrapper. He noticed it was opened and proceed to taped the box. Even my friend laughed because the guy kept saying, "it's new because I tested it!"Then it's not new! It should've said "opened box but new" on OfferUp. However, I still offer a deal since I drove pretty far to get there and gas ain't cheap, also it's a different brand and not new. I was willing to take it for some kind of discount since I'm risking it due to no refund and returns. He could've easily said no he couldn't give me a discount but instead he kept arguing with me and kept saying it's new and that he tested it. Of course I was also upset because it was false advertisement, and I wasted my time driving out there. He then yelled as I was walking out the door, "GET OUT!" Then I proceeded to take a picture of the front of the shop and video to warn others that this place lies so they don't waste their time. He chased to my car to video record me up close (I was a little scared to be honest, but was glad that my friend was there with me) , recorded my friend (who had nothing to do with this) , recorded my license plate and called me a scammer but how am I a scammer when I'm the one buying? I wasn't even returning anything, so how am I a scammer? I mean, make it make sense. The fact that he actually went out to my car shows that he is guilty in what he's doing. I should've checked Yelp before I went there but I was in a hurry, but as you can see there are many bad reviews. I think he even wrote a 5 star review for himself trying to act like a customer because the picture in that profile looks like him. Honestly, save your time and your money, even if it's cheap, to go somewhere else or buy it elsewhere, unless you want to buy used or fake items. I attached a picture of the front of the shop and a video of him coming up close to me at my car and calling me a scammer, even though I wasn't returning anything and I was the buyer! The other pictures are stuff from OfferUp that they posted and did not have.

I finally made my way in here last week, after driving past it often. For starters this is a bin style store where you rummage through tables full of goods. In the last week, I have purchased several Nespresso machines (for myself and family members) from $12-$40 a piece; all of which are in working order and pretty much complete (outside of 1 not coming with the aerocinno: but if I would have opened the box prior to purchasing: I would have realized it: But at $12: no biggie). I didn't pick up a $849 Breville espresso machine (barista pro) and I am still kicking myself for not grabbing it. I bought a bed frame sold on Amazon for $149 at $12 and some vacuums that retailed upwards of $279 from $12-$40 on a random Thursday/Friday. Most items appear to be returns from stores: Still new and in their original box.... Great stuff to be found. The staff is super helpful. The owners are always promoting it on Instagram (and give previews of what is to come: ie Target/Amazon stuff) The store itself can get PACKED, hot and stuffy: But, for the deals: It's a small inconvenience. I really think that the "deals" are AMAZING and I have left "lucky" each time. At the rate this business is going, I am hoping they expand to a bigger space (hopefully in one of the vacant spaces in the same shopping center) 10/10!

This place is the biggest scam to ever exist, DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!…read more To start off I used to love coming here with my mom on their $12 Fridays but ever since they moved locations it has sucked since. To start off, the lady in the front in insanely rude, she has a terrible attitude and was not friendly or welcoming in any way. Secondly, I originally came here because I saw the samsonite luggage as seen and as advertised on their instagram. I lined up early, was 5th in line and was trying to snag it, however once I got my hands I was pushed to the side but some man who's 5x bigger than me. After a while he felt bad and ended up giving it to me which I thought was weird but I accepted, I later found out why. When it came time to check if the luggage was in there, to my surprise it was not. I thought they were to have it front so before I paid I made sure to ask where the luggage was and to my surprise again the rude lady said if it's not in there then it's not here. It's very obvious this place tries to sell empty name brand products to make a profit, because as soon as both employees knew there was no luggage inside it was placed right back on the tables to sell. Not only was I frustrated by this experience but extremely disappointed as the owner knows exactly what he's doing by trying to sell fake products to the community of Azusa . This place sucks and is a scam, I will not be returning!!

West Covina, Rowland Heights & La Puente resident friends often aren't aware of this great place located "up the hill" on Azusa Avenue. I often go to shops meeting my needs there, from a Super Target, to Home Depot and eating places, such as Round Table Pizza and more. The center appeared slow during the day first opening, but traffic has really increased as more people have become aware of the place.

There's PLENTY of parking since it's such a huge plaza, but it can get quite busy with all of the cars going in and out. The main intersection you enter in and out can get REALLY ugly with cars not following right of way, the lanes to turn left backing up into the intersection, etc., so if I can avoid it and just exit near the UPS Store I would. I feel like at a certain point they really should put traffic lights there, but on dead times it's not so bad honestly. As for other things, sometimes there's vagrants wandering around (camping behind the Salvation Army), one time a guy was peeing outside of his car, the letters are always being stolen from the Heights sign, and there used to be car meets here before they were shut down. I just really like that this place is quite close to me.
