The owners are very nice. The colognes were fake tho. I'm sure they have other good items. The fragrances just aren't authentic

I don't write many reviews, but people really need to know about the bad business at this place. I found them on OfferUp while looking for a dual laptop screen extender. I did a research on the actual item that was posted on OfferUp by them. I drove about 40 mins to get to this shop. When I got there a different brand was given to me, so I wasted my time, researching a brand that they didn't have. The item was nothing like the picture and it was not new. There's a seal on the box and the seal was broken so it was definitely not "new" as stated on OfferUp. When I ask the guy in the front if he has the item on OfferUp and on their IG page, he in was like "how old is the post?"It doesn't matter because you should remove it if it's sold. Post says there were 6 available and they didn't even have 1. He was trying to sell an item that is not even the same and it's opened box but kept arguing saying it's new. I'm telling him it's not and there's also a seal that's broken. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take a picture of the actual item I saw in the store because I didn't think it was going to escalate this far, but I took a similar picture of how the seal kinda looks like. One of the cords was used and not in the original wrapper. He noticed it was opened and proceed to taped the box. Even my friend laughed because the guy kept saying, "it's new because I tested it!"Then it's not new! It should've said "opened box but new" on OfferUp. However, I still offer a deal since I drove pretty far to get there and gas ain't cheap, also it's a different brand and not new. I was willing to take it for some kind of discount since I'm risking it due to no refund and returns. He could've easily said no he couldn't give me a discount but instead he kept arguing with me and kept saying it's new and that he tested it. Of course I was also upset because it was false advertisement, and I wasted my time driving out there. He then yelled as I was walking out the door, "GET OUT!" Then I proceeded to take a picture of the front of the shop and video to warn others that this place lies so they don't waste their time. He chased to my car to video record me up close (I was a little scared to be honest, but was glad that my friend was there with me) , recorded my friend (who had nothing to do with this) , recorded my license plate and called me a scammer but how am I a scammer when I'm the one buying? I wasn't even returning anything, so how am I a scammer? I mean, make it make sense. The fact that he actually went out to my car shows that he is guilty in what he's doing. I should've checked Yelp before I went there but I was in a hurry, but as you can see there are many bad reviews. I think he even wrote a 5 star review for himself trying to act like a customer because the picture in that profile looks like him. Honestly, save your time and your money, even if it's cheap, to go somewhere else or buy it elsewhere, unless you want to buy used or fake items. I attached a picture of the front of the shop and a video of him coming up close to me at my car and calling me a scammer, even though I wasn't returning anything and I was the buyer! I bought two safes from this store. It looks nothing like the pictures shown on offerup and it's a smaller and much downgraded version than advertised. Not only that the battery was taken out of the safe so the digital keypad isn't working and the seller doesn't disclose it. It have no manuals as well. There's only one key as opposed to the standard of 2 for other safes. The packaging looks repackaged as well. I'm unable to rate these issues on Offerup as the seller doesn't mark them as sold to me even though I have the receipt. read more

I reported them to the BBB! will be reporting to the bbb!! i should have read the reviews. i literally thought i was being punked. as soon as i walked in the vibe was off. long review... ihad originally contacted them on offerup and asked if they still had the baby gate or if they could hold it...no response. i drove from ontario to west covina. which isnt cheap with these gas prices or easy for a new mom. they advertised a baby gate for $35. i get there and ask where that baby gate was located in the store. i found it and its not the same brand nor are the measurements the same. i specifically needed it to be no smaller than 48" wide. after noticing the discrepancy i alerted the man at the counter. he stood there n looked at me like im lying about a product thats 15 ft away. he goes to check it out. then im assuming "the owner" follows him and is very dismissive, rude, and short. and repeatedly tells me, "if you dont like it, dont buy" wtf!? i literally drove all the way from on ontario to patronize your small business for $30. of course i want what tf i drove here for! they both walk away from me and i ask them if i can put the (already opened box) baby gate together. and argued with me some more before he told me i could so that i could get a proper measurement. they threw their hands in the air and told me i could. no more than 2 min later i connected it together. i asked for their measuring tape and he wanted to argue with me some morethankfully after i measured it it was indeed the length as indicated. but how was i just supposed to take your word when the manufacturer box said otherwise, and also the brand that you listed was for sale was not as described?? so kudos to myself for wanting to measure because apparently these reviews talk about them, scamming them and being broken or the wrong size so still composed and calm and collected i nicely repackage the gate again that was already open and put it nicely back in his packaging, put it back on the pile and grabbed a nicely, packaged one for myself to purchase. i walked up to check out, and all of a sudden the owner goes to the stack of gates and picks up the box that was already open and tells me that i have to purchase the open box. i told him no that's not what i want to purchase and you're not gonna make me purchase something that i don't want to. at that moment, he told me that he's not gonna service me and he's not going to sell me anything and told me i had to leave the store. what a waste of 40 minutes and being verbally battered for no reason other than wanting to confirm that the product i'm purchasing is correct and criticize since there are no returns or no exchanges. these pos didnt derserve my money i was glad to leave. do not i repeat do not go to this store unless you want to be verbally abused or scammed. mind you the whole time and i mean the whole time i was cool calm and collected. they wanted me to act out of character so bad so they had a legit reason not to sell me this gate for simply wanting to confirm that it would fit in my home. **pictures to show contradicting measurements read more

Wanted a new office chair and show this one that had an leg extender so you can lie in the chair like those gamer chairs + seat cushion... It was only $60. Brought it and found out that it was a lie. It was a boring all mesh chair (no seat cushion) and no extender... They covered the picture of the box to show what it was I'm giving it 2 stars because at least the wrong chair I brought was new. Saw their IG videos advertising high end fragrances, so I checked it out. They have a shelf of many different fragrances behind the counter and I purchased a Christian Dior Homme cologne. I opened the box a few weeks later and it smelled fake, like citrus surface cleaner! I took it back and the owner was very confrontational and simply pointed at the signs that said "No Refunds No Exchanges". This is a bad business model. This isnt the first time this has happened if you read the other reviews. Just know that! Try to save money here and you will get burned. read more

Drove to the store and the owner played dumb blaming an "employee" for responding on offerup and that he couldn't find the item. But item was listed as sold while Im there. I Should've checked Yelp to see they have similar tactics to get people to show up to their store. All their items are Amazon knockoffs so don't bother. read more

zero star owner and store. the owner was very rude. went into buy a specific item he listed on offerup. he pulled the wrong item and had to go back and look for it. after he brought it to me, i opened it up and inspected it and gave him a fair offer. he was firm on his initial price. i told him that most likely i would buy it but give me a few minutes. he told me, next time you come, make sure you want to buy it before i ask to see it. don't waste his time. i didn't understand his logic and told him how can anyone know if they're going to buy the item for sure if they don't inspect it. this item was an open box return. final sale. he took the item back to the back storage and refused to sell to me. i told him that we being a jerk and he kicked me out of his store. that's the last time i will ever go to his store. this store is no bargain! he takes all the good items and marks them up high. the daily bargain is the open box damaged goods. he also brings in counterfeit goods as you see in the other comments. avoid this store as much as possible. there are a bunch of other better treasure hunt stores with amazon returns!!!! read more

Do not shop there!! Bought 2 baby gates here (all merchandise are Amazon customer returns) because I thought they would work in my space but they did not. They advertise on Facebook Marketplace. Took them back but owner Jae Whang refused to take them and refund my money. No verbal or final sale on the receipt only high up signs in the store. Not everyone looks up when they're shopping, at least I didn't. I told him he needs to verbally make customers aware that they do not accept returns as well as print that on his receipt. I will never step foot in there again. I hope you're proud of how you run your business and sleep well at night taking advantage of people especially a senior on a fixed income Mr Whang.
