I had to come on here to rave about this dollar tree. I don't usually go to dollar tree but this…read morewas near the restaurant I went to that night. Probably one of the biggest dollar trees I have ever been to and it was very clean inside. My favorite aisle was the sock section ($1.50 each pair of socks) because there's such a variety of them which make great gifts! They also have so many unique things if you are a teacher (my sister bought a pointer) and great gag gifts. I can literally spend hours looking at the different socks and all the cool items here. I'd definitely come back if I were in the area! Lots of parking since it shares a plaza with neighboring shops and restaurants.

I am glad that the plaza across from the dead Puente Hills Mall has a wide variety of businesses…read moreand restaurants, but because of this and the limitation of space (and also how compact the parking lines are), the parking lot can get quite fisted, especially if you go at a very high traffic time. Outside of that, this is a decently sized, probably medium Dollar Tree. There was a shopping cart near the cashier with close to expiry date discounted snacks, which is neat. There's a decent Halloween selection, and a slowly growing Christmas section too. It's a bit disorganized and I think that largely has to do with staffing. There was ONE very sweet and kind girl working the cashier, also inflating the balloons, and then there's this lady that all she did was clear her till, remind the other worker about the balloons and then completely DIPPED. Support your coworkers lady! There was a growing line where we were at and we were helped, but this could have been disastrous on a busier day.

PRO-TIP: Get your receipt emailed to you for 10% off the next purchase!…read more Woohoo! A closer Five Below to me. Again, I preface every review of any business in this plaza, that parking can get a bit fisted. Especially since the lines are drawn so compact and close together and by the abundance of shops and restaurants in this plaza, so based on the time that you go, it can get kinda spooky in that regard (definitely the Aldi construction is adding to that and will definitely drive up the number of customers to the plaza). I was welcomed immediately when I came in and the workers were very welcoming and friendly. Even though there were so many self check out stations, she went out of her way to help me scan and check everything out and bag everything for me. I actually came here to grab some Halloween goods to build Boo Buckets, but the selection (1 week before Halloween) was quite slim. I was able to get some individually packed larger candies, which was nice. I couldn't get the actual bucket so I had to drive over to the other side to Dollar Tree for that. There's starting to be way more Christmas goods at this point. I love that there isn't a huge rush for Squishmallows as there used to be in the past, so I can always find a new cute squishy friend here. There's also some more affordable anime goods, and kawaii goods (Sanrio), board games, party favors, small purchases perfect for filling up gift bags or stockings, etc. And my most favorite is the weird, uncommon junk food here. The cost of Monster energy drinks is comparable to what is at the gas station and that's a huge plus to me. Got to finally try the Java Monster and Buldak potato chips here. Overall, a solid Five Below.

I have been buying from this location for just under a year. When I first started purchasing items…read morelike the cosmetics lots, pallets of return and overstock from CVS, Rite Aid, Wal Mart, and Meijer. For the first 4-5 months the lots had potential and had mild/opened product in them but that was to be expected and part of the inherent risk of purchasing these LOTs. 6-8 Months of doing business we started to notice an increase of damage product beyond hope of selling always underneath the very top layer where the productive product was. We were passing it off as a bad purchase but still were able to turn them around to make a tight profit or more times than not broke even. Our last visit to MBA was on Monday Sept 9th 2013. We went every second Monday of every month and noticed that the line of buyers has gotten extremely shorter. I made my purchase which totaled just under 1,900 USD. I took the two pallets of merchandise and 2 case lots of make up home and separated them and I was very disturbed at what I sorted out. The pallets and merchandise destined for the trash, product that was so damaged or used that it was disgusting and illegal to sell for health and safety codes. What really broke my heart was that this was no accident. My wife got on the phone with the owner who knows us as she is the only one who accepts payments for the merchandise. We saw her 1 or 2 times EVERY month for 9 months. She was constantly making herself difficult to reach and she gave us empty promises of a call back with a possible resolution. We contacted her for the 5th time and she got very nasty and defensive and without even allowing me to provide VALID proof the obvious damaged and used merchandise, she told us that it was not possible. I would have never made an attempt to contact her if I had any idea she going to act like that in the first place. I now get my merchandise from a seller who actually allows you to inspect what you are about to invest hundreds if not thousands of dollars into. MBA has taken a desperate and illogical approach to increasing their profits by throwing TRASH and I mean real down to Earth TRASH in their lots. Take advice from a customer who spent thousands over the last 10 months and finally got stiffed beyond belief.

I thought maybe I'd try the clothing pallets cause they looked great but from what other reviewers say, they're just the same. Save you money and go somewhere else!
