Fast forward to Sunday night, I download the new update 13.2 on the phone, it works for about 30 minutes I go and feed puppies and I come back to my phone having completely crashed, The start up screen was on a never ending loop. I called the store to Juan answering and not only telling me I can come in and we'll figure it out together but Immediately knowing who I was. When our combined efforts to fix the problem failed I reach out to Apple to set an appointment to get my phone fixed, they simply send me a link to make an appointment with bestbuy with very little explanation so I set one for tomorrow at 3 and go on my happy way. A couple hours later bestbuy calls and tells me I made the wrong designation for my appointment and need Apple to make the appointment for me and the soonest available one is the 16th, which was not going to work, so I call once again to Juan who immediately orders me a new one possibly sacrificing a sale I heard him making over the phone while I was in there. After hearing nothing, I called around 8:00 PM to check on the status. I was then told that the item had been sold earlier that morning and that my order would need to be canceled. What is especially frustrating is that my order was placed before the item was sold to someone else. Had the store processed online orders when they were received, the hat should have been set aside for my order instead of being sold to a later customer. Because my order was not handled in a timely manner, someone else was able to purchase the item that I had already paid for. On top of that, nobody contacted me all day to let me know there was an issue with my order. If the item was unavailable, I should have been notified immediately instead of having to call myself nearly 10 hours later. Had I been informed earlier, I could have made other arrangements. Unfortunately, this was a birthday gift for my dad, and now I am left scrambling to find a replacement at the last minute. I understand inventory mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and failure to prioritize or properly process online orders was extremely disappointing. I hope the store improves its online order system and customer communication so future customers do not have the same experience.

I went to this store yesterday (Sunday), looking for a long sleeve suiting suit top because I've had skin cancer, and I have to be very careful about allowing sun on my body. The assistant manager was wonderful. I found a long sleeve top, but they didn't have my size. He called numerous stores in search of what I needed. I told him that I appreciated his dedication and customer service. In addition, the other 2 employees were just as wonderful. I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to actually see great customer service. I usually don't shop at Big 5, but now I will be a regular customer. Thank you so much.
