I was referred to this place by my mechanic to get my battery cables fixed so that they are not just crimped onto my battery posts which cause them to corrode and create electrical issues causing my car not to run. Not good! They were hesitant at first because they normally do this work on the bench not under the hood. But removing the cables on my car would be very labor intensive (expensive!) And that's why I came here to avoid that need. So he agreed to go ahead and do it. The job came out great and now the connection to the battery past is clean and less likely to corrode. Just the other day, as I walked towards their shop, I did not realize that they had closed and locked up. Walked in today.... needed a cap That had popped of of a marine battery we use for camping. It's not something you can just order online or buy at Auto-zone. These 2 guys were super friendly, had a great attitude and were willing to help. I went in there today and the owner (Mike) was very knowledgable and respectful. I bought a battery for my vehicle and he asked me if I wanted to save a second trip and said I could change the battery in the lot. I told him I did not have any tools to do it and he offered up his own tools. One of his employees came out and helped me change it out and the help me avoid coming back down to bring my old battery back to get the core charge back. I really appreciated this. This Battery shop has been great for years. I remember my dad buying batteries here when I was a teenager and I have bought several batteries and had custom cables made here over the years. I don't live near this shop but I couldn't find a battery cable I needed for my Jeep at my local auto parts stores so I drove to Glendora to have one made for me. The counter guys helped me out and made my cable just the way I wanted it. I'm going to need a new battery soon and I will gladly drive to Battery Sales, they know their stuff and they are always really helpful and have good prices. PS - I noticed in one of these reviews a girl said she got a "refurb" battery. For all those who don't know there are no "refurb" automotive batteries. There are new and used. A used battery can be one that has been replaced usually because most people don't have a battery charger and they think because the battery is drained it must be bad when in fact it is still good but is just in need of a good charging and a cleaning up. I have bought used batteries for my project vehicles that last for years as long as you keep them charged up and don't let them sit for long periods of time. Also, batteries don't work well with dirty connections keep them clean and save your self a lot of trouble. I hope this info will help other fellow Yelpers. For me to give 4 stars you must really impress me if I ever find a business that I can give 5 stars to I will surely do it as soon as I find one. read more

I haven't been here in quite a while. Came here 4 years ago to get a battery for my 09 silverado 1500. I was 17 when my buddy introduced me to his place. So I used to listen to music all the time and have light bars that I would always have on in the desert when my buddies and I would hang out. I had a lot of lights on(I had 5 led light bars) while listening to music loud(had two subs as well) for hours and the battery held up. Till this day it still runs like a champ and have had no problems, so I feel like it is well worth a review. I do recall the service wasn't A+, but it definitely wasn't terrible. But at the end of the day, their customer service isn't helping start my truck, it's their battery, and it definitely does the job. Well I honestly feel scammed. I've came here for the past 6 years and was fooled into buying a rebuilt battery.6 years ago I was told the battery I was getting was new and it had a warranty which I thought was great I paid $120(6years ago) 2 years later my battery kept dying so I went back and they said they can fix it no problem and since the batter was under warranty of 3 years I just have to pay the prorate which came out to around $63 and again I was told the battery I was getting was new. Now today which marks exactly two years later from the second "new" battery I replaced the battery again started dying again. My mechanic recommended me to get the battery replaced so I decided to go back yet again to where I originally got the battery. I went and this time the owner was there and I will say this he was a very friendly and kind man but that friendly kind man ripped me off again.... he prorated the battery (and mind you now the prices have went up) to replace the battery with what he said was a new battery was now $73 plus a $15 installation charge. I had no choice but to pay it I felt like I was stuck in a corner so I paid in total with tax included $94 for what I was told again was a prorated new battery. I went back to my mechanic and asked him to check out the batter and he told me it was a rebuilt battery which is technically "like new" but not new. Honestly I'm so done with this guy. When he says new he means like new I've been fooled for 6 years I'm never ever going back and I hope this post helps others not to be fooled like me. I'm someone who knows absolutely nothing about automatics so I have trust in people but there are people out there looking to take advantage of someone like me unfortunately. read more
