We had a very bad experience at the Verizon Store in Glendora. The manager was very rude and dismissive, he said just go online and handle it there. All employees are busy. I wasn't asking for anyone to drop wha they were doing and come help us. The reason we went in is because we were having trouble with their customer service. They told us we needed to go back to the store where we purchased the phone to solve the issue. It was just frustrating because we were getting the run around from everyone. Thankfully we were able to finally handle it online after several tries. I can see why their rating is so low. This is the closest Verizon store to me, but I'll be going elsewhere from now on. The absolute worst service. If I could give zero stars, I would. We wanted to move one Verizon number from one business account to another. It took the rep three days to do so. A total span of 15 hours in the store. During those three days, my phone was in limbo with no service which cut into work and personal usage. Then suddenly, they say, "Oh, we couldn't get the line over and the number is now on a personal account that's $75/month." Not what we asked for, and what do you mean you can't move a simple line over? Any time we asked for assistance or an update, the genius at the store could only say, "I don't know, we can't do anything. I'm not sure what to do. You have to call customer service." Not so sure how I feel about this place. We were greeted immediately. We came in because I got an email saying they can pay off of your phone if you switch over. Up to 800 per line. The sales rep did everything she is suppose to but it was still more then what we are paying at spectrum. So I said no thank you. I wish she would've broke down the price for us. Maybe I would've been more inclined to take the offer. I just don't like how we will pay more even though they would pay off our phone. read more

Walked in trying to figure something out with the new line i had just gotten my dad. He passed away 3 months ago. I vocalized this to one of the associates as i was trying to get help. I was visibly distraught . All he said was " you can do that on the app" . I said ok. I continued to walk towards the machine and just paid my bill. I would avoid this store. I have home internet through them and they lied to me saying that my internet box was out dated and I needed to upgrade the box to keep my service. When I upgraded, I got half the speed, a data cap and an increase in my monthly bill. When I called Verizon, that stated i was lied to and the old box was not going to be disconnected but they did that to increase their sales numbers. The worst part this is for my parents and I live out of state. So to disconnect the service, requires me to travel to another state which the store knew. FYI the only reason I was in the store was to troubleshoot my parents phones. And had nothing to do with the home internet. read more

This place is a scam! I was told that u had no choice but to pay the extra 40 dollars for her to transfer my information from my old phone to my new phone on top of the taxes for the phone and the activation fee. I told her I knew how to transfer information from my old phone to my new phone and she insisted that she needed to add the extra charging fee of 40 dollars and when I called Verizon they told me that information was FALSE. I was transferred from my previous phone carrier to Verizon. And the customer service over the phone was Excellent. Shame on you for trying to make people pay extra money when you don't need to. The service has been terrible with Verizon so I switched to Tmobile which gave me a lower bill and paid off my phone. As soon as I ported my number the closed my account and refused to get me a copy of my bill. I cannot download it now and the store can see it but would not print it. He is super friendly, informed of all things electronic and extremely professional. He has extended assistance even AFTER our purchase and makes himself available for any inquiries. I recently dropped my NEW iphone 15 Max (devastated - see pic) and cracked the LED. while walking the dog. I contacted him and he gave me advice and places to call for repair because the hubs didn't purchase insurance (don't ask). JC actually deserves a RAISE (wink wink management). I went in because I switched from Verizon to Spectrum. I needed a statement to prove I paid off my phones with Verizon. I was told they could not access my account. I tried calling customer service while in the store and because my account was closed I couldn't even access a customer service agent. I was stressed out thinking I was going to lose out on $1k simply because I couldn't get my statement. The manager saw all this happening, simply said "We can't access your account", didn't bother to leave his seat, the one in which he had been sitting in, not engaging with any clients, while on his phone. Terrible people skills! Two other guys came to help me. One helped me reach a customer service agent on my phone. The other printed out an older statement proving it was possible to access my account. I ended up going to the Verizon store in Montclair the following day and got all the paperwork I needed. I just had an appointment today and I had been avoiding it for awhile as I wasn't sure what phones so wanted, needed to update my plan, and transfer a phone number. Every single time I have made an appointment, I have had amazing service as each associate is helpful and patient. Wow! terrible and confusing service. Every time I go in, I get different answers from different people. I think the requirement to get a job here is to have rude behavior and a lack of knowledge! In one month, from early November until December 23, I went in at least 4 times to get help with my upgrade. They gave me incorrect information and I was about to lose my promotional upgrade and pay full price for my phone. After getting help from Jamie, who supposedly fixed my issue, I had to call customer service to verify my issue was fixed. And, of course it wasn't. I finally received excellent service from outside support from Verizon. I also asked about waiting a month to activate my daughter's new phone because it was going to be a Christmas gift and one girl told me it would not be a problem. Later, I found out that it was going to be an issue with my bill and I had to activate earlier. It seems like all the employees are getting different information OR no information and passing on the confusion to the customers. Maybe this is their tactic all along so that they can continue to misinform and rip-off customers. I'm getting closer and closer to switching to t-mobile. read more

Customer service is horrible. Last technical support person with the name of AJ instructed me to turn off my phone so that she could fix the setting issues on her end. She was supposed to call me back in 1 minute. She never called back. I contacted Verizon to speak with a technician because I was experiencing dropped calls, the individuals I talked to couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them, the battery drains quickly and I end up charging the battery 2 to 3 times in a day, etc. A litany of technical problems. I'm sorry I went back to Verizon. I went back because they offered me a free iPhone 16. Given the tariffs imposed on Apple and my iPhone 11 was about to become vintage - no more software updates I decided to go back to Verizon. Big mistake. read more

Management sucks, I went in to transfer my phone number from my old phone to my new one and was helped by Jerry who said that I was not authorized despite having proof that I was added as an admin and had both phones in my possession with my old phone even working with my number, Jerry saw my frustration and instead of helping he told me to have a nice day and get out of his store. Completely unhelpful and when I called customer support (which he told me was closed on the weekends), they were able to get my phone set up on about five minutes. I can understand policy and trying to be secure in transferring information, but I had identification, and anything he could have asked to prove who I was, but instead I was told essentially to screw off. Hello, I have reported an issue with the Verizon Wireless data not functioning properly at the area of Lone Hill/ Gladstone in Glendora, CA. I spoke with technical support a few weeks ago and they assured me they were aware of this issue. I am still experiencing data latency here, and once I drive away, my service improves. Now I have a brand new IPhone 15 Pro Max with all the correct settings enabled. I just don't understand how a multi-billion company like Verizon, just can't fix this issue. How can a business like an authorized Verizon dealer rate only 1 star? By having the WORST customer service I have encountered in recent memory. I purchased a Google Pixel 6 phone from Verizon online, expecting to change over from my (then) current iPhone. The transition proved to be less than seamless from iOS to Android, and I went to this Verizon store for assistance. What I found instead were at least 8 of the LAZIEST and repugnant employees, including at least 2 wearing "manager" name tags, who were totally unwilling to help me. I was told that I would need to make an appointment even though there were few other customers in the location all the while I was there, and I counted 8 employees standing around chatting with each other. I was also told that they do not offer technical help at this location; they are there for SALES. Worse yet, I was totally ignored (can you say, shunned?) by ALL employees present at the store. I called Verizon customer service from inside the store and was told that they could not compel the staff to assist me. I finally gave up and left in defeat. Were it not for the fact that I have been a fairly satisfied Verizon customer for over 30 years, and that no other cellular service provider can compete with Verizon's coverage and reliability, I would take my (appreciable) business to another provider. It took at least 4 phone calls and 3 days to Verizon Customer Service to finally transition my phone from iOS to Android. I have registered my complaint with Verizon corporate and now hope that something can be done to improve the service attitude at this store. SHAME ON YOU,VERIZON! read more

This Verizon store service was amazing. The employee, Myra (I apologize if I got the name wrong) was so helpful! I visited a couple different stores because my mom was having issues with service and setting up her account with autopay. Myra was able to provide a quick resolution. The Verizon app did not allow my mom to reset her pin/create an account, but Myra was able to get around this by using Safari. 5/5 would recommend this store solely based on my service experience. read more

Going in to any phone store is about as much fun as going to the DMV on a Saturday, a root canal, or going to a dealership to buy a new car. It's never an enjoyable experience. That being said, this is the location I go to if I need to actually come to a legitimate Verizon store. I always try to do everything over the phone or on the Internet first but sometimes you just have to go into the store. Even though the parking lot is terrible here and is difficult to maneuver because it's so tight, I come to this Verizon store because it's a Verizon corporate store. It's not a "Verizon Authorized Retailer" or a "Verizon Premium Retailer" Those places are everywhere and they want you to believe they are Verizon also but they aren't. They are not Verizon, they are "associated" with Verizon and that's all. Don't waste your time at those places. Go to a Verizon corporate store! Two months later after speaking with multiple customer reps over the phone, because if you go back to the store they say they can't do anything and only customer service can. Went into the Verizon store with my family on Lone hill and Gladstone in Glendora,Ca to look at a phone .. i was wearing my medical exemption badge which allows me to not wear a mask. My other family members had masks on. I was approached by a young woman with a ponytail and ask if she could give me a mask to wear.. i said no thank you i have a medical exemption. That should have been the end of it, but it wasn't. She assured me that we all have to wear masks in the store. I said I would be in and out in 15 minutes and again I have a medical exemption. Approx. 2 minutes later she says that I have to leave the store.. I asked her because i can't wear a mask and she said yes.. i said but I have a medical exemption.. she said if i didn't she would call the police.. i asked her really? You're going to call the police? She said yes and I said I'm just looking at a phone and i will be leaving soon. She said ok then and proceeded to start dialing on her phone. My hubby who was with me started to raise his voice and my son with autism had to witness the whole thing! I said I am leaving but you really just discriminated against me. Time was 4:05 pm on 2/5/22. I will be filing a lawsuit for discrimination. I shouldn't be treated that way when I have a medical exemption.. i would have given this review 0 stars if I could have. HORRIBLE customer service from the "manager" Dennis at this location. I had left my physical drivers license in my husband's wallet and needed to come in to make some changes to my account. They would not help me bc I didn't have a physical id but had multiple forms of ID in my phone (drivers license, passport, etc.) as well as the ability to receive texts to verify my identity by verizon and could have verified my pin. This time my wife's phone was broken. They couldn't fix it (not their fault). But then they went on to tell us that we didn't have insurance (which I know we did). So of course they were going against us and said we would have to pay $500 for a new phone. We left knowing they were lying and just trying to make some commission. bought a new android for about 500 bucks and was told that all my pictures and apps and contacts were transfered from my old android and that my account was activated, i had metro with my old phone, and just needed to go home and charge my new phone. next day found out i had no service and nothing had been transfered. the store was closed so had to wait another day and was told that the sales person didnt upload my payment or other info two days prior at the time i bought the phone and switched from metro to verison. now i went to pay my monthly bill and the store is emptied out and locked up. i went to another of your locations and it too was empty with a for lease sign in the window read more
