Kenny has done good work in the past but recently there has been a real deterioration in the quality of his service. Multiple staff members in my office have complained of his rudeness and recently his comments are dominated by his desire to avoid taking responsibility for anything. I understand that the distance is difficult for him so I had offered to transition to someone else as soon as he completes the current project of setting up our new computer that he committed to, but instead he is abandoning that project leaving us without assistance and at risk of "do it yourself wrong," as another person said. Hi everyone if I could give it zero stars i would...So, I brought my Mac book to get repaired and they never called me back. Every time I called to follow up regarding my laptop they said they would call me back and nothing. They kept my laptop and never returned it. Theyve had my laptop since November 2,2020. I work in a regulated industry, and as part of it, my computer is scanned for various security and updated features. In a recent scan, it failed. I tried various 'home researched' solutions as I am not a 'techie'. When it to to the point of being directed to 'access your system by typing config.sys...', I was going to be in over my head and I drew the line; time to engage an expert. I researched local computer and big box repair experts and was highly encouraged and impressed by Azusa Technology's reviews. I called and initially spoke with 'Ryan', outlined my issues, was pleased with his professionalism and brought my computer in on a day I could afford not to have it. Met with Kenny, explained in more detail the failures, and he said it was all 'doable' and might take 3-4 hours. I left the computer in Kenny and Ryan's capable hands. Received a call around the 3 hour mark...they were unable to resolve the issues with various software updates, and recommended wiping the computer and re-installing everything. The computer should be ready by 5pm. It was! Naturally, there were some sites and other programs that would have to be re-installed, but was expecting that up front. Brought it home, and was having some issues with missing bookmarks, and a couple of other items. Called just after 6PM and left a voicemail (they close at 6). Kenny called me around 6:25pm and asked me to meet him at the shop (he was already home)!!! Met him and got those issues resolved. By the way...Azusa Technology's initial quote for for the original 3-4 hours of work. They had the computer ALL DAY and worked on it ALL DAY! The price was the same original quote, which I did not think was fair due to the amount of time they spent working on it, so I could have it back. We settled on a new, upward revised price at my insistence. Took the computer home and received a call he next day, asking me to return as they had retrieved my original bookmarks!!! And, would install them!!! I cannot say enough about the service, technical support expertise, and just plain willingness to go above and beyond to get a customer back on track with his business! I came in here try to make my Mac laptop book faster to work with my 3 third party app, the advice they gave me was to buy a new internal drive online from the website they showed me and then they would install it. Sounded like a great useful advice at the time but when the finished and Installed. My Mac was the same speed. Then owner told becauseI didn't specify what wanted to be done therefore he wanted to charge me $65 for him to erase what was on the drive and for him to add a new operating system. read more
