Literally the most amazing humans! They are like a medical service for your computer-- and they have a wonderful bedside manner when you are super stressed out because you may have just lost all your information or you don't understand what's going on. I understand computers - of course not to level they do - but when the gigs hit the cooling fan, I panic. They are so sweet and will explain things multiple times, patiently, and I watched on multiple visits how they treated their elderly customers. Went to bring in my son's laptop, & I was quickly greeted by a nice lady. Once I told her the issue, she asked one of her teammates to talk to me. My son was not able to log in to his laptop due to a Bit Locker ccide issue. Brian helped me figure out the issue and was able to get the laptop working in under 30 minutes.. Brian was patient as I had to recover a password from wife who was at home. In the end, Brian did not charge me for the diagnosis or the fix for the issue laptop was having. I have done business with Computer Village for probably 20 years. Less in recent years as I gave up maintaining my own server for cloud solutions. It was a great place that cared about customer service, I could always count on Tony and Mark, Tony especially. Now, I have a problem with my internet connections that is not my provider and I need some help. I call on Tuesday and they set up a service "ticket" to come out. I never hear from anyone. I call and give a detailed explanation of the problem again on Friday morning. Again a "ticket" is created to come out. Monday morning I get a phone call from an inside tech that "wants to know what the problem is" and wants to know if I need someone to come out????? Really???? I find out that Tony is no longer there (which in my mind explains a lot). Mark is a good guy, but he is not what made the customer service side of the business work. I know that if I did that to my clients I would expect them to leave me, and that is what I'm doing. Incompetence in not following-up on a service request and incompetence in not properly writing a customer's needs on a service ticket are two things I cannot live with. I won't wait for a third time. From a series of recommended sources, I was told that these pros can properly fix my Mac. The keys on my MacBook Air were sticky due to an unfortunate spill of flavored vodka. I came in here due to the overall good Yelp reviews and ratings I read about. They also offer a free diagnostic check when you check in through Yelp, which I utilized. I brought in my Lenovo laptop that would have a black screen when turned on. Angel was great communicating about the process giving me continual and consistent updates. Due to a broken motherboard and processor my laptop was not able to be fixed, but Angel was a trooper tackling this for almost three weeks! And they didn't charge me for any labor AT ALL. They even recycled my dead laptop for me free of charge. They are very professional and kind! I would highly recommend this place for anyone with their faulty electronics! The fan on my HP Laptop was failing. The people at computer village didn't just say replace the fan they made sure the recent update to the BIOS wasn't the cause and after determining it was actually the fan failing they replaced it. I was in a little bit of a bind to get the computer fixed within a few days and they were able to get the repair done within my required time frame. Also these guys are great communicators. One of the things I really liked about Computer Village was they kept me informed throughout the repair process. I thought I posted this weeks ago but I never did. I decided to come here since it was nearby and had good reviews. My laptop was having an issue where it would boot up but never actually start and get to the login page. The guy said it was probably a hard drive issue, so I had them run the free diagnostic. I took it in on a Saturday little before closing, so I didn't expect it to be done the same day. The guy told me it would be done Monday or at the latest Tuesday. Well Tuesday came and still no call about my computer so I called them. They said the person working on my computer was out sick. I understand people have to miss work sometimes, but it's just a diagnostic, was nobody else available? So the guy told me tomorrow (Wednesday) I'd get a call, but I didn't. I call on Thursday and they say the diagnostic is almost complete and they'll call me in an hour or two with the results. They call me back and it turns out it's not a hard drive issue. They just have to reinstall my software and data which will be $135 or $95 to just reinstall the software and lose all my data. Obviously I need my data, so I'm forced to spend the $135. I tell them to proceed and I give them a call on Saturday to see what the status is. They tell me they're still running the virus scans and it won't be finished today, but it will definitely be finished Monday. It's Monday and I haven't received a call from them. I assumed it would be ready first thing in the morning. I've mentioned to the guy I really need my computer, but they've been open for 3 hours and no call yet. I'm no computer expert, but it feels like I'm paying them a lot to do something pretty basic. They're scanning my computer and removing all the viruses which is good, but it still feels like a lot of money to me. And it took them over a week! UPDATE: it's been at least a month or more and now my laptop says the software I'm using isn't authentic and needs to be verified....not sure if that means they use bootleg software, but that's what it seems like to me. read more

We have a business and use our computer daily. So when it crashed last Thursday, we were beside ourselves with fear that we'd lost everything! I called first thing on Friday morning and took our tower in. Spoke with Jordan and he was quite patient and understanding. He gave me a quote and never made promises to get data back, only that they'd try. He kept calling me with status updates and said not to worry but would know more by Monday. Monday came and YES, all data was able to be restored back. He initially quoted $150 and that is exactly what we were charged! He installed Office 365 (purchased that and Windows 10 at Best Buy Thursday evening) for us at no additional charge. I just lost $149 buying Windows 10 (Best Buy refuses to accept returns, but that's another issue). Turns out it's installed with the hard drive; he offered to double the ram and that was only an additional $20! Out the door $249!
