Great service from these guys on my HP Office Jet Pro 8600 printer. It stopped working a couple weeks ago. Luckily I have another small home printer that was ok as a fill-in while CS2K services repaired my good printer. I work from home and use this printer all day long. Print heads needed replacing and other minimal service to bring it back to new condition. Very happy with cost and communication from them. This is an update to my previous glowing review. Unfortunately, my experience soured once my repaired computer died. I was told that it needed a motherboard and I was better off buying a new computer. After much contemplation and comparison shopping, I agreed to buy their custom computer. I was advised on Thursday that it would be ready the following Monday or Tuesday. By Wednesday, no one had called so I tried calling to get status. No response. On THURSDAY I once again tried to get someone to tell me what was going on, but I got no where. No one returned any of my calls to advise me when I could pick up my new computer. Overall, I found their service to be unprofessional and lacking in returning phone calls in a timely manner. On Friday, I cancelled the order for the new computer. read more

so i took it my pc in friday tuesday they said they were gonna give me. a update on it after they said they needa do testing and rearrange the fans on the pc that were put on wrong and they we're reinstall windows and i waited til friday and the manager said they were in consistent with it and they said its the motherboard gpu is good everything good then tuesday comes when she said it was gonna be there at monday and put it in tuesday ready for pickup they call me the manager and he tells me its the case and not the motherboard and its the airflow and i got my pc back it ran great good temps and i run a game and it still blacks out in display and it took them 2-3 weeks for this issue to still be occurring kinda dissapointed read more

Took in my laptop 3times in one week and on third time, offered to pay for services as last two time they took more than 20 mins to help out with issue and did not charge for walk-in consult. Najma helped me on the third walk-in consult to correct and unlock password change issue. Took time to explain the monthly and annual service, as well as remote assistance. They destroyed my laptop, causing it to burst into flames (see photo). I brought my Mac laptop in for a battery change and when they opened it they said that the machine burst into flames. They said this sometimes happens, but I called Cornice, an official Mac repair shop, and they said that Apple has strict protocols that repair shops should follow in order to prevent ignition of the batteries and clearly Computer Solutions did not follow them. They called me up and basically told me "sorry we burnt your computer". No offer for any compensation or anything, except an offer to help transfer the files to another computer (whoop-de-doo). I don't understand how they can look themselves in the eye and call themselves a repair shop or believe they are doing anything of ethical value. I should have known because there was a red flag when I dropped off the laptop: they ran some "diagnostic" program to see if there was anything they could find to suggest other issues besides the battery and she came back with a report on the screen that showed two disk drives. She pointed out that there were a few minor errors on one of the drives, but I only have one drive and the drive with the error was obviously the flash drive she inserted into the laptop that contained the diagnostic program!!! Sheer incompetence. Never again. Will only go to official authorized Mac dealers from now on. I should have taken them to small claims court, but maybe I'd have gotten $1000 and not worth the time, effort, and attorneys fees, plus they could just try to hide behind the signed service order agreement that said I wouldn't hold them at fault for anything that went wrong. Not worth the effort, but definitely worth me warning the community not to go there. FYI I am a professor at CSUSB, not a bot or a competitor. this is a real review. UPDATE to manager comment: this was 11 months ago but the details are not blurry at all, and my delay in this review changes nothing material to the situation. No one ever offered to replace the computer for me or to compensate me for the value of the computer, only to transfer the files from the recovered hard drive and refund the minimal deposit for the repair. The store rep callously suggested that I could try to sell the recovered parts, presumably on eBay or Craigslist, which is a non-solution. My priority at the time was getting back to work on a pressing deadline using a backup computer, not investing time and energy arguing with a repair shop, so I chose not to press the issue, particularly because it seemed clear to me that they were not interested in the only thing that mattered: compensating me for the computer they destroyed. read more

I took my laptop in for an assessment after it smoked and stopped working. End result was that it would cost about the same price to replace the motherboard as it would be to get a similar new computer. The people I talked to were friendly, knowledgable, and honest. They took the time to explain the issues, gave recommendations for how I could prevent the same issues in the future, and suggested brands that were more reliable regarding the issues I had. I ended up buying a new laptop elsewhere as I found one on sale but I wouldn't hesitate to bring it to them for service in the future. Highly recommended! read more

I've been coming to this business since around the early 2000's. They are not perfect but for me what's important is the work gets done and right. Also this is the only place I trust with all the data that is on my Lap top. I get their one year plan where if I have issues with my laptop I just have to call them and they will remotely check out my laptop. I don't have to drive or be without my laptop. The only issue I had this time is when I called and ask for someone to call me back, no one did and I had to back. I got great service from Shad and he took his time to explain things to me. When I went to pick up my laptop, Michael was very nice in showing me that my laptop is working better now. I live in Corona and driving to Upland is well worth it. read more

This is great. My laptop got some water spilled in and completely shut down. I check with another computer repair store on arrow he asks for 80 to run the diagnosis and 250 if he can repair it. Ridiculous. I came to computer solution they said only 199 for both software and hardware. I chose 99 for only the hardware. And it took one and a half day. It works!! And I don't need to go the Apple store for repair and waiting anymore! Super convenient!!!! read more

I recently had CS2K reinstall Windows on a computer that I thought was going to become a large paperweight. Came in the upgrade my cpu, and then it turned out that my motherboard couldn't support that cpu.
