Good afternoon, yes I highly recommend Tech Docs. They not only repaired my computer they also spend time with me tweaking my computer to what I needed . As a senior, thinks pops up from unknown places. The fix it so that I'm not confused. My next step now is to go to the senior computer classes at my senior center. Thank you Yelp for your assistance. Great service from these guys on my HP Office Jet Pro 8600 printer. It stopped working a couple weeks ago. Luckily I have another small home printer that was ok as a fill-in while CS2K services repaired my good printer. I work from home and use this printer all day long. Print heads needed replacing and other minimal service to bring it back to new condition. Very happy with cost and communication from them. Already dropped off my desktop that has a few problems for repair too. Check them out for all your computer repairs. read more

My computer wasn't booting up after a power surge so I took it to the Tech Docs, a family owned business. I brought it in at 10:30 am and had it back by 2:30 pm the same day and the cost was very very fair. They were able to evaluate and restore without having to change any hardware or software on my computer. They thoroughly explained what was done and what I could do to help the performance of my computer. Being an old computer running windows 10, I'll be back later this year to have them build me a new computer. They earned my trust and future business. Great job! read more

Thank you, Bailey and Najma, and the entire Tech Docs team! Your exceptional knowledge and outstanding customer service made it easy for someone like me, who isn't tech-savvy, to understand everything. I truly appreciate your help with my transition from Mac to PC and for offering such a fantastic deal! You not only solved my computer issues but also took the time to explain everything thoroughly, which I greatly appreciated. My husband and I are very happy with the service we received and our new purchase. Tech Docs is the place to go for anyone needing reliable computer help! read more

This is an update to my previous glowing review. Unfortunately, my experience soured once my repaired computer died. I was told that it needed a motherboard and I was better off buying a new computer. After much contemplation and comparison shopping, I agreed to buy their custom computer. I was advised on Thursday that it would be ready the following Monday or Tuesday. By Wednesday, no one had called so I tried calling to get status. No response. On THURSDAY I once again tried to get someone to tell me what was going on, but I got no where. No one returned any of my calls to advise me when I could pick up my new computer. Overall, I found their service to be unprofessional and lacking in returning phone calls in a timely manner. On Friday, I cancelled the order for the new computer. read more

Good service and the technicians are patient to explain and address concerns. Took in my laptop 3times in one week and on third time, offered to pay for services as last two time they took more than 20 mins to help out with issue and did not charge for walk-in consult. Najma helped me on the third walk-in consult to correct and unlock password change issue. Took time to explain the monthly and annual service, as well as remote assistance. I will definitely be referring others to them for individual or business services. read more

Tech Docs installed a Mesh System for me. Shahid was professional, very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to do the job. He was on time, and when finished gave me some tips to enhance my system in the future. I will certainly use there service again read more

They destroyed my laptop, causing it to burst into flames (see photo). I brought my Mac laptop in for a battery change and when they opened it they said that the machine burst into flames. They said this sometimes happens, but I called Cornice, an official Mac repair shop, and they said that Apple has strict protocols that repair shops should follow in order to prevent ignition of the batteries and clearly Computer Solutions did not follow them. They called me up and basically told me "sorry we burnt your computer". No offer for any compensation or anything, except an offer to help transfer the files to another computer (whoop-de-doo). I don't understand how they can look themselves in the eye and call themselves a repair shop or believe they are doing anything of ethical value. I should have known because there was a red flag when I dropped off the laptop: they ran some "diagnostic" program to see if there was anything they could find to suggest other issues besides the battery and she came back with a report on the screen that showed two disk drives. She pointed out that there were a few minor errors on one of the drives, but I only have one drive and the drive with the error was obviously the flash drive she inserted into the laptop that contained the diagnostic program!!! Sheer incompetence. Never again. Will only go to official authorized Mac dealers from now on. I should have taken them to small claims court, but maybe I'd have gotten $1000 and not worth the time, effort, and attorneys fees, plus they could just try to hide behind the signed service order agreement that said I wouldn't hold them at fault for anything that went wrong. Not worth the effort, but definitely worth me warning the community not to go there. FYI I am a professor at CSUSB, not a bot or a competitor. this is a real review. UPDATE to manager comment: this was 11 months ago but the details are not blurry at all, and my delay in this review changes nothing material to the situation. No one ever offered to replace the computer for me or to compensate me for the value of the computer, only to transfer the files from the recovered hard drive and refund the minimal deposit for the repair. The store rep callously suggested that I could try to sell the recovered parts, presumably on eBay or Craigslist, which is a non-solution. My priority at the time was getting back to work on a pressing deadline using a backup computer, not investing time and energy arguing with a repair shop, so I chose not to press the issue, particularly because it seemed clear to me that they were not interested in the only thing that mattered: compensating me for the computer they destroyed. read more

I have passed by here for a long time but never had the need for their services until a holiday weekend with a paper due on Sunday . The staff here are professional, attentive and accommodating! Needed to get my laptop fans replaced and the staff at this place responded and were informative and concise. Other places don't tel you why they charge so much but here they are transparent and tell you why the price is what it is. Not only that but they charge very good prices compared to nearby competitors and get your computer done the same day if the parts there! read more

These guys are awesome. I went in to get my screen fixed as I was an idiot and dropped my laptop. I had some issues with connectivity with another computer and Paython helped me patiently and fixed my issue. I will be coming back here for any of my computer problems. I went in to get my laptop fixed and they were very quick and helpful! Great customer service.

I took my laptop in for an assessment after it smoked and stopped working. End result was that it would cost about the same price to replace the motherboard as it would be to get a similar new computer. The people I talked to were friendly, knowledgable, and honest. They took the time to explain the issues, gave recommendations for how I could prevent the same issues in the future, and suggested brands that were more reliable regarding the issues I had. I ended up buying a new laptop elsewhere as I found one on sale but I wouldn't hesitate to bring it to them for service in the future. Highly recommended! read more

When in for a quick windows upgrade they did it no problem they also built my pc. Still running strong with all the abuse I put on it. Their customer service is the best I have ever had period. I've been coming to this business since around the early 2000's. They are not perfect but for me what's important is the work gets done and right. Also this is the only place I trust with all the data that is on my Lap top. I get their one year plan where if I have issues with my laptop I just have to call them and they will remotely check out my laptop. I don't have to drive or be without my laptop. The only issue I had this time is when I called and ask for someone to call me back, no one did and I had to back. I got great service from Shad and he took his time to explain things to me. When I went to pick up my laptop, Michael was very nice in showing me that my laptop is working better now. I live in Corona and driving to Upland is well worth it. read more

This is great. My laptop got some water spilled in and completely shut down. I check with another computer repair store on arrow he asks for 80 to run the diagnosis and 250 if he can repair it. Ridiculous. I came to computer solution they said only 199 for both software and hardware. I chose 99 for only the hardware. And it took one and a half day. It works!! And I don't need to go the Apple store for repair and waiting anymore! Super convenient!!!! read more

Great service from Shad, i will definitely come back here again for whatever i may need in the future.

I am NOT a tech savy guy, but this place treated me well and I didn't feel intimidated at all. They got my business back up and running after my (very dated) lap top got an attitude and crashed. They were able to save all of my original programs and files and re-load everything onto a new laptop. Don't hesitate using this company's service. read more

I recently had CS2K reinstall Windows on a computer that I thought was going to become a large paperweight. I toiled over the installation problems for a week during what little spare time I had, and it became a problem that I wasn't able to solve, so these guys came to the rescue and pulled it off in a matter of hours at a very fair cost. I would recommend any professional that needs to get back to work instead of dealing with Windows installation screens and Master Boot Records and GPTs and UEFIs... just let them do it! Great service; very friendly, knowledgeable and a big help! read more

Aweful service. I highly not recommend it. I had a bad experience and wanted to give them a last chance. They asked fifty dollars for a transfer of two small documents from a ce to a flash. A work of 5 mins max. Please note that cd reader costs btw 20-45 depending on the brand. Greedy people! read more

I love this place. I'm a senior citizen on a fixed income & a life long Claremonter. I found them because my old computer shop closed & they answered its phone number. Shad, Najma & everyone else I've met are wonderful. They are patient w/me & give excellent advice. They've serviced my Windows 7 tower. Next I bought a refurbished laptop from them. Most recently I've had two cheap Lenovo Ideapads serviced (restored to factory settings). In short, they do everything. In these Covid 19 times, it's especially important to support the local brick & mortars Cheers! read more
