Well... I went in to a Verizon store after watching the tv commercial... it was all lies, commercial stats new iPhone 13 for free, or on them... that was a big fat lie!! They wanted me to pay 800$ for the phone, switch from AT&T (by the way AT&T) and pay 110$ monthly bill. Hmm,... and I thought AT&T was bad! I've been with AT&T for more then 10 years. I always have trouble with them. I got the iPhone 11 , was told if I change my phone number, instead of paying 1,000$ for the phone, I'd get it for 500$, they lied!!! They are charging me 700$, I've been paying 36$ extra on my monthly bill for 2 years... I was told me I still owe them 600$ ... and I'm 67, asked about senior discount, they stated "we don't have that" ugh!! Guess I'm stuck !! HORRIBLE! read more

I ordered online and only picked this store to retrieve my order. Just my luck that all other phones were fine except for mine that I fully paid for that there is a tech issue where the store refuses to give it to me. I called Verizon and they said it is the store's responsibility! The store rep even held a full on argument with the online customer service while I am on the phone. Professionalism for this store is a nonexistent so little to say about their customer service! Now I have to wait or wait (no other choices) until either the tech issue( which I think it is BS) resolve or my order cancel due to "not picking up" which is a lie (cause I went there 2 times in one day). I wish I could say something positive about the store. However, my experience there has been an ordeal: 6 trips in two weeks, 3 Droid replacements, and 1 lost SD card. First Bad Customer Service Experience I Have Ever Had With Verizon Yesterday, I was so greatly helped by Sales Associate Alexyz from the Glendora store, not. I went to the store in order to upgrade my phone to the Galaxy Note 9. When I checked the App, I was told that I only owed $240 and was eligible for an upgrade as long as I traded in my phone. When went into the store though it became complicated in order to do so. After being provided a few options, Alexyz made it clear to me that I couldn't leave the store with a new phone without having to pay $200+ and I couldn't apply it to my next bill. Needless to say I walked out the store with my old phone, exclaiming to the rest of the store that I would make it happen at the online Verizon store. Later that evening I received a text from Alexyz: Hi, this is Alexyz here from Verizon. Come visit us at the Glendora Marketplace store to chat about the great items saved in your cart. (FreeVzMsg) Would you like me to book an appt 1-4pm M-Sa or 2-4pm Su to visit my store? If not, what time/day works? Reply "E" to unsubscribe to this message.(FreeVzMsg) However, by this point I have already ordered the phone online for $125 and trade-in(after I receive my new phone). Plus they added the $125 to my next bill. I dont think I'm ever going into a Verizon store again. They're obviously not trying to help customers, just meet sales quotas. read more

This review is for one of the managers of this location in Glendora and his name is Caesar Rodriguez. All he likes to do is check in the customer and tell them how long they should wait. I have always been for years paying my bill in person and it's a process of 3 minutes. The other managers of this location like Vanessa and others on duty will take my payment and are helpful instead of adding me on the line of guests that their need would take longer than payment and that is why there is a line of wait. But Caesar has the nerve to say to a long term customer who is not delinquent in payment this: "You expect me to serve you first than the rest" And I asked him "Are you helping someone now? As it's so obvious he is not- as all he does is check in the clients that arrive on his tablet and tell them how long their wait time is. I have never been so upset in this location in all my years as customer only when Caesar Rodriguez is on duty. He talks so scripted and repeats his reason over and over so you will give up. If this is the manner of training Verizon gives please re think about it if you want your people to be known giving service above and beyond. At this age and time there are still customers who need personable service especially if we are not delinquent in payments which is good for your business. If paying the bill is the least of your priorities in this business, which does not take a lot of time if an agent assists. Think again. Don't get me wrong, My husband and I can pay with a check and mail it but I prefer due to my convenience to pay in person and not with a machine. The machine takes certain type of bills, it does not take bills a bit crinkly or crumpled and no change is also given. I am continuing this complaint directly with Verizon. I had to put one star as there was no option for zero. Look down on your reviews verizon reps, Most are so low and Caesar also had a very bad review from someone else dated September 2018. I dread coming to Verizon for 2 reasons. 1. the wait and 2. they salesmen. I came in on a Thursday about 11:30 and guess what NO WAIT. I checked in and told the salesman that I wanted to cancel a line, I gave him my number and identification, and then he asked which line and why. I said because we never use it and I don't know the number, can I see your screen and he said NO. Really? so through a process of the numbers I did know, we found the right line and then he asked me some more questions, I think he could see my hesitation and said "DON'T WORRY, I AM NOT GOING TO TRY AND SELL YOU SOMETHING." My fiancée and I got the one of the best experiences from this store- I have AT&T and she has Verizon. We were greeted by a person at the front and were quickly handed over to a sales rep- and when I mean sales rep, he was not pushy. He didn't even act like a sales rep. We were interested in the new Apple Watch, asked what size, color and if we wanted cellular. He came back out within 30 seconds with the exact product. Granted this varies from product to product.. but I was amazed he had what we requested. Al was solid. He answered all of our questions, walked us through the watch, and even offered to attach our new tempered glass onto the watch; which we bought at Best Buy. The store wasn't super busy for a Sunday. All in all, I was super impressed. Al is an amazing guy. He needs to own and operate his own store! read more

I needed a charger for my cell phone, so I came to this location. It's a large store. They had a bunch of employees in different corners of the store. I noticed some were helping customers, some were talking to each other. A few were on their own cell phone, and again... no one approached me until I was getting ready to walk out. I was in there for at least 5 minutes minding my own business. Looking around for a charger. I saw a few, and didn't care for any. As I was getting ready to walk out of the store, finally one person approached me and asked if I need help. Finally and once I was approached, they were very nice to help me out. read more

I was waiting in the sun for over 30 minutes and decided to leave because it was going to be another 20 minutes to get service. I had a wonderful experience at this Verizon. My experience was much better than all the negative reviews of this place. I thought I would share my thoughts to provide some balance to their rating. My amount of time spent in the store was much shorter than I expected, which was nice. I visited to get a new phone, and Al streamlined the process as much as possible. He was very clear about my options, and he was not pushy for me to buy more than I intended. In the process of setting up my new phone, he noticed a way in which we could be getting more for our money on our family plan, so he made a settings change in our plan accordingly! Was looking for a new carrier and went in to talk with someone to get more information about Verizon's new unlimited plan before making a decision. Informed the employee of all this and not only did he completely and utterly fail to make a sale, he flat out lied and got defensive because he was unable to support his claims. He claimed Verizon was the best, but was unable to objectively explain why. When asked about another carrier's unlimited plan and how it compared with Verizon's, he stated I would end up paying more than advertised because he, "Knew things." I gave him the opportunity to explain why I would end up paying more with the other carrier because I'd take their possible dishonesty into consideration if I received conflicting information from them but he stated he, "Knew things and wasn't going to give them any business." Ended up not giving Verizon my business because of the arrogant, defensive, dishonest, and unknowledgeable employee. Went with T-Mobile with all taxes and fees included in the advertised price and, surprise surprise, my bill was EXACTLY as advertised and not a penny over. Update 7 months later: More than pleased with the T-Mobile and my bill still hasn't changed a penny. *GASP!* Hopefully the dotard I had the displeasure of dealing with has been terminated by now. read more

Tried to return a iPad keyboard/cover. Had it for 3 weeks and keyboard wouldn't stay connected via Bluetooth. Rep April was pleasant but only other one other option similar to what I had purchased and it wasn't in stock in store. Their return policy is two weeks for a refund. Asked to speak to manager. After several minutes manager came over already was saying no for get go. We explained we've been long standing customers but he was unwilling to return, even despite fact it is under warranty and can be sent back without issue by Verizon. Manager was polite at first but quickly became snarky and patronizing which was very irritating. We ended up leaving but I came back in to get his full name to give to customer service. He refused to give me more than his first name, which was Daniel. He was chubby with a receding hairline. Called customer service and within 5 minutes was given a full refund. Don't waste your time at this store just call customer service. There is a reason this store has 2.5 stars. read more

Arriving here on a Tuesday at 6:35pm, checking in to do a return/exchange of a faulty Mophie. Then comes the news that my wait will be 30 minutes. Well then, let's add to their poor reviews on Yelp while I wait. As I write this review the employee that checked me in is continuing to stand by the front door, checking in customers. Wait times increasing for each customer that walks in. Technology sure is making this experience less efficient. I stood near the front door at 7:05pm preparing to remind him of my 30 minute wait. He walks over, looks at my receipt and leaves to get me a new mophie. Returns and does the exchange. I'm only giving this store a star because i have to. I have been a customer of Verizon for over 24 years and i have never been so disappointed. Surprised my husband with an apple tablet and a keyboard. Three weeks later the tablet keyboard stopped working. Because my husband uses this everyday and he was leaving for a training class we needed to get a replacement right away. Went into the store. April assisted us but when we asked for a refund she became defensive and said we needed to talk to the manager. The manager, Daniel, came over to assist. His general demeanor coming over was even more on edge and he would not even help us. Basically told us no refund would be given and it was a "courtesy" that they would even exchange it for us. So, lesson for this store.... you lost a customer of 24 years. We will not step foot in your store, nor refer people to you. All over $120!! Hope it was worth it. Don't use this location. Well I've been waiting with no confirmation of my order being ready. They are only open during the hours that I work and you can not contact the store directly so I don't know when I'll be able to collect my order or how long they'll hold it for. Lol this store and their employees are a huge joke. I walk in to get a charger for my phone and the employee checked me in, told me I was 6th in line and that it would be a 10-15 min wait. I thought it was odd to be placed in a queue to purchase a charger... I wait 12 minutes and realize no one has left the store yet, meaning my turn would never come. These people ahead of me were buying phones and need time, and I just want a stupid charger. So out I walk... Next, I end up at Walmart and they don't have what I need so I then end up at Best Buy and bought a charger in 2 seconds. I then go home, chill for 10 minutes and finally get a text from Verizon that I'm next in line. Really? Lmao it's been an hour later. You think I'm that stupid to wait that long for a charger? I am long time subscriber of Verizon. I have family that is employed by Verizon. However, the service I got from the salesman at the door today, was sub par. I went in to the store to activate a newer back up iphone5c because my daughter's older iphone5 was stolen and recovered. I went in to get help on switching the phones and was immediately told that "Verizon would not be able to activate the newer phone and that I would have to buy a new phone and activation. He even told me that Verizon customer service would tell me the same. Well, I called Verizon 611, and presto, after a 15 minute call, the IPhone 5c is activated and is working without problem. For the management staff of this store, you should have your sales reps trained to go the extra step. Hey @verizonwireless you should train your csrs how to listen to customer complaints, instead of interrupting and telling them to let you finish talking before they make another face. (Like really, who says that to a customer?!) The crs named Tia I spoke to yesterday over the phone was nothing but professional, curteous and understanding. The guy at the Glendora store on Lone Hill was not. Neither was his manager who couldn't even take the time to speak with us regarding our concerns when I asked for a supervisor. Barely activated our phones, wanted to charge me a restocking fee didn't read any of the notes Tia (csr) put in the day before and in fact, told my mom the notes wouldn't do him any good anyway. And switched out the ear buds because he said ours were "used", when I only opened the phone to see it was the wrong one. But switching out the "used" ear buds were 'the only way to defer the restocking fee.' This is the worst experience I've ever had there and will never go back to that store. Seriously, Verizon may boast of being number 1, but who wants to be treated like that? I've spent thousands of dollars for their services over the years. This rude guy was extremely unprofessional and should not be in customer service. And his manager... total wuss. He wouldn't even address our concerns. I've never felt more dismissed in my life. Are all Verizon Wireless stores bad? I have never had a good experience at any Verizon Wireless store and this one is by far the worst. Here is my story. Was looking to get the latest Galaxy Nexus phone on Thursday 12/15. I was at the nearby Best Buy and they were sold out so I called this store. Daniel (I think that is what his name) was great. Friendly over the phone and was able to get me a sales person right away when I showed up. Then came Adan who in all intents and purposes was just OK. It did feel like he was pushing the accessory package a bit to much and it seemed like I was annoying him by some of my questions, but I have worked in sales in the past and I know how it can be, plus he was awesome when installing the protective screen for me, so hey that's something. So after what seemed like forever (roughly an hour and a half) I walked out of the store with my new Galaxy Nexus and my accesories, the protective screen, the gel case, and the universal mobile usb charger. Or at least I thought I had the usb charger. The next morning 12.16, I wake up and look for the charger in the bag and it wasn't there. I look around my apartment and not there, around my car... not there. What the hell, I thought? Adan forgot to put the charger in my bag. So that morning I call the store and ask for Adan, but he was supposedly off that day. I then asked to speak with a manager and his name was Anthony. I tell Anthony what happened and when he repeated my issue back he screws it up, which means he wasn't paying attention. After explaining the situation for the third time, he supposedly wrote down my information and told me he would give me a call that Saturday after he speaks with Adan. Well guess what... it is now two days after that Saturday and I have yet to hear from anyone at that store. In closing I am not sure if I will ever hear anything from this store, so please AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. I wish I could give this store a NEGATIVE ZERO. I will now do all of my Verizon shopping online and avoid the horrible customer service that I have received at these stores. read more

Avoid this store at all costs! This place truly sucks. Been in here a number of times and every time is the exact same experience. No less than 6-10 verizon people standing around doing absolutely nothing while customers wait. The managers have headsets on to talk to their employees which I think is an absolute joke as the store is small enough to simple talk directly to who you want to talk to. My last visit and final visit was last week. I was the 2nd customer on the list (they put your name on a TV monitor when you arrive. I waited 20 minutes before someone called my name which would have been fine BUT THERE WAS ONLY 1 OTHER CUSTOMER IN THE STORE!!!! I watched as 6 sales people talked to each other, were texting on their phones and they really could care less that I'm standing there. I finally talked to "the manager" who got on his headset and requested any available sale representative. I watched at all the sales people looked up for a second and then back down doing their thing which looked to have nothing to do with helping customers as the store was empty! The manager finally walked me over to a sale rep and asked if she could help me. She looked down at her watch and said that she couldn't because she was off in 10 minutes. What??? The manager simply accepted her answer and apologized to me for the wait. I finally got a sale rep to help me. I told him I was looking to upgrade to the new iPhone. He looked around and told me that I should really go to WalMart because they had them for much cheaper. They should fire the entire staff and start over. He was the rudest customer service person I have ever had. He had smartass comments and was being rude just for the sake of being an asshole. Oh Boy. Where do I begin?! I was helped and told I couldn't have an early upgrade even though it was only two weeks away. Oh well, that wasn't the problem. My mom was waiting for service for 15 minutes while workers were standing around and socializing among themselves. I told her not to wait and just approach one of them and ask for help. I made the mistake of pointing, they saw me and dispersed. That is stillll not the major problem although that was rude and poor customer service. While I was waiting for my mom to get help, I hear yelling, I look and I see a woman, who is a worker, YELLING at this old man. Almost half the store witnesses this. The poor old man was probably embarrassed and he didn't say anything as she stormed away only to get stopped by another customer telling her it was inappropriate for her to yell at a customer like that. I felt soooo bad that I approached him and apologized that he had to endure that. He was a sweet man who had been a loyal verizon customer for 20 years. The woman who yelled at him was named Candace. My mom and I left immediately after because we did not want to give business to a place that treated a human so horribly. This place is the worse Verizon store I have ever visited. Although I live very close by to this store I used to go to the Verizon store in Montclair mall where I get excellent service. On 2/19/2014 at 5 PM I went to the store to check about a new phone. The person who was at the entrance was very rude and was not helping at all. He didn't even know about the phone and didn't even try to help me or try to fine some information. I think I knew better than him. When I told him that I got some information from Montclair store he asked me to go to that store. Looks like he didn't want Verizon to do any business. These kind of employees are very bad for Verizon business. I will never visit the Verizon San Dimas store again. Contrary to this I get excellent service every time I go to Montclair mall store. read more

If I could give this store a zero Stars I would. I waited about 20 minutes to be helped and what I wanted to do with upgrade my two phones. The service representative who helped me didn't help me at all. When I asked her what the advantages were of my phone to the new phone I wanted to upgrade to all she told me was the screen was bigger. When I asked her if she could give me specifics on the phone she told me to go online and read the specifics myself. This store has always had horrible customer service but since I was in the area I thought I'd give it another shot. you would think that if a customer wants to purchase two new phones you would at least have some enthusiasm and some good customer service skills. This particular store is always jammed packed on the weekend. It's a typical phone store so not much to brag about. The customer service has been okay here but not exceptional by any means. I will say that the best time to show up on a weekend is Sunday night at 6:00. Most people are usually already home and eating dinner and winding down and prepping for the work week that is fast approaching. And while they are at home you can sneak in here, like I did, and have 12+ customer service people waiting around to help you just so they can make the last 2 hours pass more quickly. read more

About a Samsung S10 plus and was told that I could buy a tablet for $100 plus $40 activation fee and $20 a month come to find out the activation fee is every month for 2 years Plus $ 22. more for the service I can handle that $20 a month for the service but by adding the activation fee every month and makes it ridiculous and I want to return it and they say I can't this is not good practice I'm coming to this location because I'm hoping someone in upper management can let me return the tablet and forget about all the rest they say that if I don't want it after pay a $175 to me this is lack of disclosure and will never trust that store again This is my experience not necessarily representative of everyone's experience but this isn't the 1st time something like this has happened to me read more
