This is an update review to a review I left on 8/13/12. I recently got a Galaxy S4 and decided I did want a case. Today at 4:20th I entered the store. I was glad to see that it was not too crowded and several sakes reps were free. I was greeted immediately and asked to be helped. I told him I was after a case for my S4. He got on a little radio and told someone to bring S4 cases up. While waiting I continued to look around, no one else asked if I needed help. At one point there are 7 sales reps standing talking in small groups and one person at the tech desk doing nothing. Finally after 10 minutes pass and I have looked at some cases on display I decide to take my business elsewhere. As I am leaving one of the group of 4 sales reps at the front of the store asks if I need help. I explained what had taken place and the lack of service. He asks me WHO helped me at first and I tell him I don't know I did not get his name. One of the "stand-arounds" says "It was me." One of the others identified himself as the store manager. Store management knows this situation. I will be purchasing from Amazon for less than what they were charging for the case I wanted except the S4 was not on display. Once again customer no service from my company. You may ask, your company? Well, I hold both class A and class B shares in Verizon. Perhaps fewer employees standing around talking and I would see higher dividends. I really don't want people to lose their jobs I want them to DO their jobs, not stand around and shoot the bull. read more

I have to say that I got totally ripped off by the store. About a Samsung S10 plus and was told that I could buy a tablet for $100 plus $40 activation fee and $20 a month come to find out the activation fee is every month for 2 years Plus $ 22. more for the service I can handle that $20 a month for the service but by adding the activation fee every month and makes it ridiculous and I want to return it and they say I can't this is not good practice I'm coming to this location because I'm hoping someone in upper management can let me return the tablet and forget about all the rest they say that if I don't want it after pay a $175 to me this is lack of disclosure and will never trust that store again This is my experience not necessarily representative of everyone's experience but this isn't the 1st time something like this has happened to me read more

I am a long time customer of Verizon Wireless and visit their retail stores often. I used to go to the Verizon store at the West Covina Mall, but have been less than satisfied as of late. I visited this store as an alternative and was pleasantly surprised to see the girl that helped my family so much through the years in the Brea store, Candice B. My Mom is hard of hearing and Candice has always been patient when answering her questions, and has always been courteous even when she is obviously busy. If you visit the store, ask for her and you will see what i mean. A store is just a place to buy things, but it is the staff that make you feel at home.... thank you for making it more than just a place to shop. read more

Vanessa Andalon is very sweet and hard working. My husband and I were there to get me a new phone. We were probably there for 10 minutes before anyone was able to help us, which is great because usually at that location y ok u end up waiting 45 minutes to get help. So it was great that we got help in a short amount of time. Vanessa helped us out and told us about all the promotions, apparently it was buy one get one on the Samsung galaxy's 9. I wasn't even considering buying this phone. But my husband needed a new one too. He wasn't happy with the j3. So I was able to get a pretty purple one and he got the blue one. He didn't really care what color but I know he secretly liked the blue, it's his favorite color. She also told us about Hum, the spying gadget for ur car. So u can see where ur kids are while driving. We got the best deal and ended only raising our bill to $20.00, or something like that. I was especially happy with the fact she kept looking at me and talking to me directly. Instead of my husband. So many sales ppl usually men, won't look at me when I speak. It actually made me nervous I wasn't used to it! :) Overall I'm quite happy with my experience. I went into this store to upgrade my phone. The salesman racked on a service I didn't even want without telling me. The only reason I found as is I logged into my account the next day. I went back to the store and asked to speak to the manager. The manager did agree to refund my money, BUT never apologized or even acted like he cared that I was lied to. Avoid this store. Daughters 5c died, went in to see what they could do to help us. Michael greeted us as we walked in. He worked with the the phone for a while, but it was no use it was done. So Michael worked out a deal, with a phone upgrade, phone case, more data, a tablet for less money. Our monthly bill is actually lower, awesome. Michael has the best personality, he knows how to give great customer service, he was so personable and very observant. Came here to buy a hotspot. Was immediately greeted and was "signed in". There seemed like a lot of people spread around the entire store either looking at various phones or waiting their turn to speak to a salesperson. Our saleswoman approached us after about 10 minutes. She typed some stuff into her tablet computer, I signed on the dotted line, got the hotspot activated, and was out the door with my new toy. Note: I wanted to get my hotspot from Best Buy to pay with my Best Buy Card, but they didn't have the newest hotspot model, so I had to go to the Verizon Store to get it. read more

I have to say coming here to this Verizon "Corporate" store has impressed me. Two employees in particular named Alberto & Kheli. When it comes to Superior Customer Service, the one thing I look for is "Integrity" and Alberto & Kheli are your best duo together. My wife and I came in late at night and was approached by Alberto. Nice personality, helpful, and honest. What more can you ask? We didn't feel the type of pressure when you leave purchasing a car dealership. He presented us with options and took his time to ensure we felt completely serviced and satisfied. Who doesn't want to feel that way? So make sure when you do come in... Make sure he's working and he'll give you honest answers. Kheli...she is the woman!! If mountains can be moved, she could be the one to do it. She made the deal real sweet and enjoyable. We couldn't have been blessed with these two superb employees of Verizon. We will be coming back here every time. read more

For the most part, I love Verizon. But on Sunday afternoon I had a terrible experience at this particular store. My husband and I had come in a few days before to determine my options over my broken iPhone 6s Plus. I was considering upgrading since I would be eligible soon. We were told on Friday that I would have to pay off the $70 I still owed on my phone and that I would be credited the value of my phone minus what ever it had decreased in value for the cracked screen. I wanted to think it over so we left. We came back on Sunday and were greeted by Chase. I told him I knew what I wanted and would like to proceed. When I pulled out my phone and he saw it was cracked he immediately changed his tone with me asking if I had disclosed that to the previous person. He was giving us a completely different quote than the previous team member had. My husband was asking lots of questions and to clarify, he has a processing disability so it takes him a little longer than others to understand when someone is throwing tons of info his way at once. Chase became visibly irritated and at one point told my husband he had already told him what he was asking. At this point I pulled my husband aside and told him to let me handle it. I approached Chase and informed him that I would not be moving forward because I felt that he was being rude to my husband. I explained to him his condition and he was apologetic. Nevertheless, I don't feel that my husband should have to explain his medical history just to be provided with appropriate service. read more

In late 2017, Daniel the newer "manager" at this location was previously at the Baldwin Park store located at 14510 Baldwin Park Towne Ctr. I was having trouble with Sprint and wanted to cancel my plan and get on with Verizon, the better company (service-wise). When coming in Daniel told me he was the manager and immediately let my sister and I know about a Buy-One-Get-One free deal going on the very next day that he would honor if I bought an IPhone 8 Plus from him. This sounded great. He also told me he would take care of the first months bill if I brought it back into him since I was trading over from Sprint. **A Lot of Bold Promises to Make as a "Manager"** When I first saw the bill being $230 roughly for two phones unlimited service and protection. I was furious. He and his team that night quoted me at $165-180 roughly. Nearly $50-65 less. When going into the store to resolve the issue. Daniel was transferred to this store in Glendora. A woman working the night he offered me the deal recognized me by my tattoos and said the first three months it will show, but the Buy One get one free should come off of the bill after that. Instead of counting on this I decided to call the store to speak to Daniel personally. After explaining to him, he stated he would never offer to pay the first months bill. He did however honor the BOGO deal stating he remembers that and it will come off the bull after month 3 bulling cycle and I would be refunded everything I paid towards the free phone so far. It is now nearly month 6 and Daniel has not honored the BOGO deal. And he actually denied speaking to me to Verizon corporate billing at all. Verizon needs to let go of this liability to their company. He is very unprofessional and is clearly in it to make sale commission for himself and not help the company gain customers. John C went above and beyond to help me with an issue that I had with a Verizon Authorized Retailer in the area. He was very thorough in explaining all the details that made my issue complicated and even helped me with the other store so that when I went back I received adequate customer service. I've learned my lesson, I'll deal with the official Verizon stores from now on, and will be going back to this location specifically because of the service offered by John C. I am sorry that most of the people had bad experience here. But for me and my girlfriend, we had a great experience here in span of 4 days. I live near here so this was the verizon store I obviously went to first. We were up for upgrade and switching to family plan. Now I know from my previous experiences, VZ store people are good when you purchase something, but horrible when services is needed after. So our sales person name was Ryan, he was just easy person to deal with. He was very suggestive, calm and patient. Purchasing the phone was just smooth and it was 5 star experience from Ryan. So we both got Samsung galaxy nexus. Problems came after when my nexus was working perfectly fine, but my GF's nexus was keep dropping signals. Even at the same location. We went back next day morning, Ryan was there and he actually came up to us to help. He replaced my GF's nexus with a new one. But still her new nexus was still doing the same dropping signals, not as bad as first one. So we went back the next day and asked if she can exchange the phone to different model, of course there's $35 fee for that, they waived it because so much of hassle we went through. So in the end we both changed to Razr Maxx, I had no technical issues with my nexus but battery life was horrible (even with extended battery). So I am not sure if you can choose your own sales guy when you step into the store, but see if you can ask for Ryan (or even Michael). They are great people to deal with. P.S. I over heard some other sales guys dealing with there customers, they were bad. So I can see why some of you had a bad experience here. We were lucky to have Ryan. read more

Fantastic customer service! The store was busy when we went (a Friday night), and the manager (Ken) kept apologizing for the wait. He actually was very friendly and listened to us tell the tale of The Three Verizon Stores. The first, in Arcadia was a total waste of time; the second in Monrovia was much better and led us to Glendora, our Third Verizon Store in one evening. He kept apologizing for our bad experience, even though it was not his fault. We were eventually helped by Rafael, who was very patient and kept explaining the promotion and plans to my very tired mother. When we eventually agreed to our plan, he was very helpful and set up our phones, put the Otter boxes on we purchased, and even put on our screen savers. We made an appointment to return the next day to turn in our old phones, but had to reschedule for Sunday. When we came back on Sunday, Rafael was not working, but another manager, Willie helped us out. We had to wait a while (even with our appointment), so eventually Willie asked if he could help us instead. He took in our old phones (even mine with a cracked screen) and gave us the credit on the contract. Again, we had to explain to my mother where her credit was, but Willie was very helpful and explained it to her a couple of times. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience at this location. Sure, there was a wait, but I expected that on a weekend. Even so, the staff was very friendly and helpful, it seemed like everyone there was in a good mood and ready to assist customers - even the difficult ones. I would have no problem returning to this location if I needed to, it was totally worth the drive from Monrovia to find a corporate store with honest and helpful salespeople. I think a lot of people were happy with their service, so they don't post reviews. if you 're looking for a corporate store with friendly, knowledgeable staff and don't mind a bit of a wait, then check them out. This is an updated review to my previous one. If I could downgrade this store from one star, I would. I recently purchased a new phone and was having trouble transferring my backed up music. The tech there told me it could not be done, that I would have to go to each website where I purchased the music and try to redownload it. I told him that would be impossible, numerous sites over a 7 year period. He then said, well ... MOST PEOPLE buy from only one site. Really?! I tried to get help from Verizon tech support by phone. I also tried Google help, but they're impossible to call. As I'm searching across the web, I stumble across a Play store app called "VZ (Verizon) Content Transfer. I added it to my old phone. I added it to my new phone. IN 5 MINUTES I HAD ALL MY MUSIC! I then called this store and spoke with the manager. I advised her that her techs should know of a VERIZON app that transfers content from one phone to another. Her reply was that it's an old app that never works properly (even though it has a 4.7 App Store user rating). She further said that VERIZON IS PULLING AWAY FROM CONTENT TRANSFER. Really?! A store that sells new phones but does not want to help you transfer your content? She listened to me with a no care attitude. Her parting smart remark was "at least you got your content transferred" (no thanks to her tech or her). I've been with Verizon for too long. I have been coming to this location for the past almost 2 years and every time I come here they are so helpful, pleasant and professional. Today is Father's day and I walked in there were plenty of solution specialist Cesar was absolutely gem and gentleman. He was so helpful, professional and patient. He walked up to me as walked in and asked for the relevant information and he immediately went up to the customer desk and dialed the customer service number and placed his employee number and despite that it took 24 min of waiting but that's not this store fault it's Verizon. This store is so rude and disappointing! The guy who was tasked out to help us was rude, & very short with us. Almost as if we inconvenienced him! He told us for two upgrades it'd be $250 +tax each and the phones would not be available ANYWHERE until about oct5/10. I said no thank you we'll check Best Buy. Not only did Best welcome us with open arms and smiles, we walked out of the store with two brand new iPhone X Max's, two advanced shatter proof glass covers & two survivor strong cases for $127 OUT THE DOOR!!!! I just want to sing the praises of John C, the 5 stars are for him. There's not enough screen to recount what we went through with Verizon, his helpfulness and tenacity to fix our issue that was a long and drawn out process with multiple layers. He peeled it all back and we got to the bottom of it. It was a process of 3 weeks back and forth and then when we reached the end of the line, still another 3 days of ' system went down', 'payment hasn't processed', you name it but he didn't give up. He went to bat for us! I've never had such a level of service and through it all he was nice, he followed up, had cheerful attitude and maintained professionalism. We bonded through the experience. If I could hire him, I would. Verizon is so fortunate to have his expertise. Can't say enough. When it was all said and done he continued servicing us with backing up then restoring and putting on our glass screens. I was ready to walk from Verizon with my 10 phone lines but he saved the day. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. We Bought a new iPhone about 6 months ago. The salesman pushed and pushed their insurance, stating it covered "theft, breakage, etc". They really pushed how great it was and how we really needed it. The phone dropped and the screen cracked. Went into Verizon because we bought their insurance. Now they say because it's the screen and maybe the LCD it's covered, but there's a deductible. They wanted $130 . They went on to explain that the deductible depending on the phone and damage etc etc. Things they don't tell you when they tell you "it's only $15 a month." This Verizon store appears to always be packed. You want to avoid Friday afternoon and weekends. So I went on Wednesday morning and only waited about 15 minutes. The good news was that we had a very knowledgable service person. I needed to activate the hot spot on my wife's Samsug 5S so that I can use it with my laptop computer. The person that helped us was Michael Pham. He made the process go really smooth. I can't praise his ability enough. Nothing can be done about the long wait, but quality people can really reduce the pain of being in the store. read more

My boyfriend and I just made the switch from Sprint to Verizon yesterday. Chris Florez helped us and was amazing!! He answered all of our questions and helped us look for any discount or promo we qualified for. First impressions mean alot and this was a great one. The store staff was friendly and the store is big so you don't feel cramped in a corner. Overall great experience. You can definitely tell the difference between the corporate store and the others. The staff will constantly contradict themselves, give you dirty salesmen tactics, and treat you like dirt.. I have never had a good experience here and I will never return to this location. This verizon store is so convenient for me . I get a discount on accessories because of my employer . I had a great customer experience last week . I parked in front of the store I got all my stuff and the security guard / hostess was already had the door opened for me . I taught that was thoughtful . I saw a sense of urgency to help me and to make sure I was taken care of right of away . Hopefully I have his name right Daniel Martinez he knows customer service . I felt appreciated . Super disappointed in my experience today. I had come here about a year ago and had wonderful service and felt totally taken care of. I came in today and met with John about upgrading my phone. He flatly said, you can't, theres nothing I can do. I explained that i had exactly 60 days left in contract, my phone is broken, cracked, overheating and doesn't hold a charge and if he could see if there was anything that could be done. He replied flatly with a No again. "Only if you want to pay full price." I then said, so i can go to Sprint and have them buy out my contract and get a phone that way and change over to them, and he said, Yeah, thats what you can do. After working in customer service for MANY years, I am shocked to see that they're not interested in keeping customers. Ive been a verizon customer since 2011, and have always felt that they were pretty flexible. Of course I was annoyed and walked out. Sitting in my car in the parking lot, I called Verizons customer service number and had NO PROBLEM getting approved for an early upgrade. I just asked, and they put me on hold for about 5 minutes, and bam! Approved for an upgrade!! They mentioned that my loyalty and pristine payment history helped me get approval no problem. Its amazing how people sitting at a desk in a call center are more helpful than the people in the store. I get it. It takes work and effort to go and bug your boss or your higher ups to see if this naggy client can get her way. Sure, annoying. However if a little effort was made to TRY to see if there was something that could have been done, then the effort would have been extremely appreciated by me. I always take the time to do the stupid survey that every company wants you to do especially if i feel like the rep was great. I get it, my paycheck used to determine on how good your survey scores were. But nope. Not this time. Sorry John. Sorry I look young and dumb and naive, and its a shame you couldn't take a little extra time to help me out today. Because I was still able to get my upgrade, get a new phone overnighted to me and I didn't have to deal with you. A little effort goes a long way. Never going into this store again. By the looks of the reviews at most of these cell phone stores, everything will eventually move online and there will be no more of them. I will be the first to say, I will never step foot in one of these stores again...shop online, or go to best buy...seriously save yourself the headache people! read more

The San Dimas staff has always been great and I don't ever yelp, but John's efforts went above and beyond. I really appreciate someone who excels at customer service. I went to the store to sign up as a new Verizon customer to pre-order my iPhone 6. I figured, despite the reviews on yelp, I would go there, order the phone, sign up for the plan I wanted and leave with minimal hassle. I did all my research online beforehand - the cellphone plan along with the phone color, size, and memory specs I wanted. I chose to do it in-store because I wanted to trade-in my old iPhone and hoped they had more information for me regarding that. The wait wasn't that long to meet with somebody, and the gentleman that helped me (didn't catch his name and my receipt doesn't show it either) seemed to know the answers to my questions (I say seemed because who knows - maybe he's really good at lying). He placed my entire order using an iPad instead of a traditional register, which allowed for portability and convenience. However, the main issue I had and the reason this store is receiving a paltry one star (no zero star option!) is because the salesperson tacked on additional features that I never agreed to nor was I even informed about! He added Ringback Tones and an Extended Warranty, which might not cost a lot per month, but it truly seems to be deceptive business practices. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this experience, but I didn't notice this until I had left the store and browsed the mile-long receipt and noticed these extra "features." To make matters worse, when I received my phone in the mail and brought it into the Chino Hills VZW store, I told them about these annoying features they added, and the guy assured me he removed both of those and that I shouldn't be charged anymore for them. Now, the bill finally arrives, and what am I surprised to find? Yep, those monthly charges. Is this their new business model now?? Earn commission not by truly winning customers over with your company's "awesome" features and customer service, but by outright deceiving them by just adding it on to the customer's bill?!? Ultimately, it's taken me 2 store visits and 3 follow-up phone calls to Verizon to get these charges and features removed...although, I will need to check next month's bill to see if they really, truly did remove them. Yes, Verizon Wireless might have really good cellular reception and data speeds; however, their customer service is HORRID! read more

Like a few others, I'd have left a score of zero if that were an option. Sadly this store "earns" a 1. My fiancee and I went into this store one evening because we wanted to combine our bill (i.e. both our numbers on one line of service). We waited about 10 minutes after "signing in", which as mentioned before is really stupid and not user friendly, and were finally brought to the customer service counter. For the life of me I forget the employee's name but he looked Hispanic and had medium sized hoops in his earlobes. From the minute we got to the counter, the dude could not have been more disinterested in helping. We told him why we came in and he promptly started to process the change without first giving us all the details. Literally mid-question by me, he called over who I assumed was a supervisor who promptly punched in an authorization code for something and walked away. I stopped my question, gave him a puzzled look and then asked what exactly this meant for our bill and how it would break down. This question was apparently equal to asking him to explain quantum physics to me. What followed was several minutes of half-hearted and clearly half brained nonsense which prompted me to realize this guy was completely clueless. I then told him I didn't like the sound of any of this so I'd like to discuss it with my fiancee (i.e. call customer service and ask someone who knows) so we'll leave our lines on separate accounts for now. Well that apparently was a problem because HE PROCESSED THE CHANGE WITHOUT TELLING US. I gave him a very dissatisfied glare and told him I want our accounts reset and my fiancee and I will figure out if this is something we want to do at a later time. I didn't ask him to do what he'd done because I didn't have all the details yet. He gave yet another futile attempt to explain our new bill (somehow it was being prorated yet that meant I was paying more and it was never evening out or coming back to me. My mistake, I thought prorated meant less than full). He irritatedly calls over the supervisor who repeats her past performance: no acknowledgment of the customer, punch in code, depart. He takes a few moments and says we're good. My fiancee annoyedly asked if that meant our accounts were separate/our own again and he said "Yes they are." So we left. Then the real fun started the next day. My fiancee's phone was acting up so she called customer service. She gave the service rep her name and info and phone number. The lady paused and said, "This isn't Jason is it?" My fiancee said that no, I was her fiancee and how would she know my name to which she replied "That number you gave belongs to Jason." Drum roll...the moron from the store switched our accounts. Oh but it gets better. After being informed by my fiancee, conferenced in with the service rep and spending the better part of an hour dealing with 2 people at Verizon customer service we found out that the store associate switched our accounts, that he had closed my account and opened up a new one for me (commission for him most likely), had messed up my bill and we'd have not found out until we went to pay our bills a month later. The service reps really struggled to reverse all the damage this guy did. They were top notch in helping us out. So immediately called the Glendora store, asked for a manager and got a guy named Eric on the line who said he was the assistant manager. He listened to my story (told in full here) and was very apologetic. I told him as a manager myself, any employee of mine who'd done something to this degree likely wouldn't be working for me anymore. He said he fully agreed, understood our frustration, apologized and said he'd see what he could do for me. He finished by saying he'd pass this info along to the store manager and then took down my number so they could call me back. That was 3 and a half weeks ago. We've already told numerous friends and family in person and via Facebook to avoid this store and they have. I encourage more people to avoid it as well. read more

Seriously, it would be a ZERO if Yelp would allow it. 2 Reviews in here and the only good one is from 2008. That was probably the last time this store hired anyone worth a darn. Service in this store is HORRIBLE, has been for years. Really wish Verizon cared about customer service. Example, daughter went into store for simple item to have #'s transferred to a new phone. Old phone was Blackberry, new phone non blackberry. Salespeople in store immediately told he that they could not do it because WE had not purchased the BackUp Assistant service from Verizon. After she questioned them about it as she had them transfer #'s a few months earlier when previous blackberry had broken, they then changed story to they no longer had the machine in the store to be able to do and she should just run over to Best Buy and have them do it. Gee hello, give a customer a reason to go to another store... oh and by the way, any idiot salesperson should have known that the BackUp Assistant does not WORK on blackberry devices, at least that is what I have been lead to believe by other verizon salespeople. Also, backup assistant would be a free service for us with our myverizon.com online account which we have, anyway, just a bunch of really terrible salespeople in general. Probably are some good ones in there, but they are few and far between..... advice, find another verizon store or do whatever you can online and via phone. Radio Shack, WalMart & Target are great places to buy new verizon equip rather than give these guy's any commission or incentive for setting you up ! read more

Everytime I leave this store, I somehow feel like I just got scammed. It's always such a long wait, even when employees are walking around just staring at people (I don't know what they're supposed to be doing). Once you get help though, they are friendly and sound knowledgeable; but they are also pushy. A few times I've called Verizon because something was done wrong (like cancelling a new purchased phone but not the new phone line also), and I always hear them say something like "Hmm... This looks shady." Or "I'm sorry that happened." I will always avoid this store if at all possible. Verizon is good! But NOT the Glendora store! read more

Ill never buy anything from this store anything, they are not helpful, the employee who "helped" us could honestly have cared less that he was assisting me and his attitude made me walk out of the store without a phone. Plus be aware, this store might tell you that the FCC is tacking on an extra $30 fee on top of the outrageous prices they charge for cellphones, they are lying it isn't the FCC but the own company charging that $30 because they are trying to get every last nickel and dime out of you read more

I agree with Christopher but instead of being rude, I was sold on everything under the sun. One of the guys sold me a phone and then asked me to reach out to him directly so he could then cancel my line and discontinue the insurance so I could have it for one month. Like a dumbass I said ok. Of course, I reach out to him after and he simply refers me to customer service. This is what happens when you have young kids working at a place that needs to have customer service professionals. I have had better experience with the people who manage the chat line on the Verizon Wireless website. I too have been a customer for over 20 years. Start issuing credits for people that have these experiences and then charge your dealers/franchisees for it because simply apologizing isn't doing a damn thing. The behavior continues and the competition is getting better and better everyday. I will be looking at Sprint as well. I hear they really treat their customers well and not leave them out to dry. You have some knuckleheads working at this location -maybe it's time to clean the house and get more mature seasoned individuals that have some leadership and people skills. People with integrity that do what they say and deliver on promises not just bull shit to get the sale. read more

Zero stars for customer service and having no advantage to buying over the Internet where you don't have to deal with terrible salesmen. Apparently they lie to you over the phone to gain foot traffic, which helps them justify their brick and mortar presence. My wife's phone was dying and she wanted an iPhone. Called ahead to see if they had the iPhone 5 in stock. They told me no, but they would have them in stock November 2nd if we pre-ordered it. The Verizon website was indicating that they would have stock on November 9th, so to get the phone a week earlier, we packed up the baby and made a trip out there. Upon entry, we were greeted in a friendly manner by John, a salesman (manager? He was wearing a black button up shirt), we indicated that we wanted to upgrade my wife's phone to the iPhone. He indicated that they would need to preorder it and that it would be available November 11th. I informed him that someone on the phone (I'm a dope for not getting her name) told us November 2nd, which was the only reason we drove to Glendora instead of ordering it over the Internet on the Verizon Wireless webpage. Not only did he not apologize, he was barely cordial for the rest of the conversation. We decided to just order the phone and get it shipped to the house. This process went by quickly and would be worth giving the store 1 stars, except for when I questioned the total amount to verify we were getting the same price as the website. His reply seemed to imply that he couldn't believe I was accusing him of ripping us off and made me feel like an idiot. I'd rather deal with an overseas outsourced call center than deal with this guy again. Customer service fail. read more
